This is a great alternative too the wire that is used in the strimmer and can get rid of some stubborn weeds, but I found that the plastic blades snap a lot easier and quicker than the wire alternatives. Could do with being a lot stronger

Works amazingly best extra item iv brought so far. The blades do brake if you're not careful (a bit of our chain link fence was broken and sticking out) I'm not 100% sure if it should be used when the strimmer is an edger, just hard to judge the distance.
