We recently rode the Peaks Tour Sportive. Throughly enjoyed the Route, great signage as well. My one request , and other riders that I spoke too, could you provide savoury snacks at the feed-stops.... See more

New forest Tour - best route so far - brilliant !
This is the 4th time we have travelled from Suffolk for this event, and each time it just gets better . The middle 74 mile route was the best route so far, avoiding busy roads, but with plenty of quiet forest pedalling. Brilliantly organised as usual, and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. . Thank you and see you next spring.

Cotswolds classic
Wonderful event, very well organized and the route was amazing. Really nice country lane yet no many traffic, as if the closed road sometimes. So I really enjoyed the riding and the view (although no time to stop for photos!).
Thank you very much for staffs at feed stations and finishing line. Oat bar, beer, ice coffee are all good. Only one thing I want request was maybe nice to use normal toilets instead if temporary one. Village hall was closed so it was no choice but I prefer to use sex different toilet.
Thank you to photographers. Amazing composition photos, really lovely. I definitely book one or more in UK cycling event next year.
Cotswolds Classic
Excellent route, excellent venue, great organisation, well signed & supported (saw it in action). UKCE are doing something right as this was easily the most number of riders I have seen in this Summer's Sportives. Want to do it again next year.
Great events. Well organised.
I've done a few events with uk cycling event now and have to say they are really well organised and great fun. Everything is well signed at the venue and the route itself has plenty of directions so you dont get lost. I usually cycle the middle routes (used to be called standard route) so there is usually a feed stop midway to fill up my bottle, grab a few snacks and relieve myself in one of the portaloos provided. Ive not had to use the emergency numbers (thankfully) but I have seen bike mechanics along the route as well as medics on motorbikes so thats always a good feeling knowing there is support. Returning to base is always great as you get a warm welcome, medal and a few other goodies. We used to get a finisher t-shirt as well but they dont seem to provide these anymore, which is a shame.
Really great day out and well…
Really great day out and well organised. Would definitely sign up for another one.
Chilterns Classic
Chilterns Classic recently, easy access to the event (I cycled there and back) and a great course through some local popular climbs (Streatly Hill, Goring and Whitchurch). The long route had two feed stations and while I only stopped at one, it was well stocked. Route volunteers on hand at risky junctions although no outriders on the day.
Not much at the start/finish though unfortunately. Some larger events do better, but this only had two stands; coffee and pizza, with limited food choices for vegans or those with an intolerance. The finish freebies, apart from the IPA, we’re also unsuitable. But as mentioned, larger events are usually fine; bring backup nutrition!
Thankfully, the city centre was a stone’s throw away for the 50km ride home.

I didn't put 5 stars because there are two points missing for me.
I did my very first race on Saturday in Oxford, the smallest course, 50km. I was disappointed that I didn't get a point for filling my bottle on the course, which was present on the other two courses. It's a small course, but chosen by beginners.
The second point is on the photos, same as on the other two courses, a little disappointed too.
On the other hand the rest was great! The organisation, the place and the indications of the course.
I had a great time.
Highly recommended for a great cycle sportive
Done a few UKCE events - great info in advance, always well organised, signage fantastic, nice atmosphere at villages after event, great locations, highly recommended
