Back again for L1 and loved it
Back again for L1. Was everything I needed to know and plenty of tips and tricks that I have utilised and enjoying the benefits.
The course really nails home some key issues for valeters/detailers and provides practical solutions and strategies.
As ever, Rich explains well and elaborates when needed. Looking forward to returning in due course
Quality Training
Learnt loads and throughly enjoyed the experience. Would highly recommend.

Top company learnt so much in the 1 day course
Found rich & his company UKDA online, rich helped me book the course with ease, was a bit hesitant of how much you could learn in 1 days but left the day really confident in what I had learnt, honestly couldn’t fault the day, top teacher would 100% recommend
Great experience
These guys are great. We took our first seminar level 1 plus moto, we learnt a lot, we had fun!
Really cool guys , good professionals and teachers!
Thank you guys

I did the 2 day Zvizzer course. The guys were excellent and couldn’t have done the course any better for an enthusiast like myself.
Machine Polishing Day 1
Really friendly team at UK detailing academy. They have good facilities and great tools to learn new skills with. I was made very welcome on the day and it was great to have an overview from such a knowledgable team on a variety of Flex polishing tools. I've been in the industry a while but I was very open to receiving training from these guys. Thanks it was an enjoyable day.
Flexxperts Academy All-In Training
Having made a long journey to attend the coarse, Rich arrived early and made me feel very welcome and at ease and followed up with an excellent proper cup of coffee. After the introduction talk about the course and house rules we set about a demo from Rich then us all trying the various Flex machines. I feel confident to tackle my car polishing (I am currently a car detailing enthusiast with thoughts of setting up a business) with the correct Flex machine, which is not one I was originally intending to purchase. The UKDA guys are very experienced, knowledgeable and genuine with no waffle. Really recommend attending a course as I will be soon.
Practical sessions were excellent after…
Practical sessions were excellent after covering the theory. Polishing can be a difficult skill to attain, but the course covered the concepts and principles to help you get started. I would definitely encourage people to attend this course, followed by lots of practice on a low-value car. It definitely helps to have a good DA polisher.
Superb course, facilities and instructors.
A long overdue review for a superb course I completed at the UK Detailing Academy 2 months ago.
Having had no experience in car care, I threw myself in the deep end and took on the 5 day intensive Level 1 and Level 2 combined course so I can explore it first as a side job and potentially a career change down the line.
Despite my zero knowledge, the quality of teaching and structure of the syllabus gave me the confidence and I came away on the Friday feeling like I had a grasp of how to clean a car safely, effectively and efficiently to an extremely high standard.
Having gone over the full wash process, interiors, engine bays, paint correction and protection, both in theory and practice, everything was covered. Even the drier topics of health and safety and detailing business-specific insurances were delivered enthusiastically so it was hard not to engage with every aspect of the course.
I’d say to anyone who’s thinking about training at the Academy they should do it. Not only are you learning from the best, but you’re also getting completely objective, unbiased perspectives compared to what you would from other schools who may be pushing specific brands and trying to sell more than just the information you paid to learn.
Introduction to Machine Polishing
Before I even booked onto the course Rich was very helpful in giving me advice on which course todo even giving me a more bespoke experience. On the day Rich was very welcoming and his instruction style is very easy going. We started the day looking at the processes before machine polishing which was very useful to me as we busted a couple of myths. The course was very informative and given my total lack of experience being able to get hands on and move at my own pace was invaluable. Thanks
I’ve done a few courses and all perfect.
I’ve done a few courses now with the UKDA as well as some other courses. The difference with the UKDA is they’re not trying to sell you things, they’re there to train up to become a better detailer.
Each time I go to UKDA I’m welcomed and accommodated to excellently, as someone who has ADHD it can be a real struggle to stay focussed in most classroom environments but at the UKDA they keep things engaging which is excellent.
The wealth of knowledge and experience in the team is incredible and something that not many others can come close to.
Would I train with them again? Every time.
Highly Recommend!
Recently attended a Health & Safety Course aimed at Detailers for the purpose of freshening up my knowledge and learning ways I can improve my business. Rich was super helpful and his training style was excellent. As a result, I will be looking to attend further courses at the UKDA! Thank you again everyone and see you soon! Kirtis KW Valeting Dorset
Very pleased I went on this course!
Very pleased I went on this course!
Rich expertly produced & delivered a Health & Safety course, which sparked off from an issue I had with a main dealer refusing to pay unless we'd provided risk assessments.
Obviously as a business owner (new & evolving), we don't know everything and it's sometimes hard to find specific information, whether it be guidance or actual law on stuff like HSE & employment etc, and Rich jumped on a video call with me & we sorted out my issue.
1000% recommend any detailing business to get on this course, especially those who are (or are planning to start employing staff members, especially within physical location, or if you're letting staff work by themselves on a clients site unattended.
Accidents can happen, but don't leave it until one does happen to start action, in my case I'm glad it was someone else's company policy that opened my eyes to what I need to do as a business & as an employer!

Rich and the team were very helpful showing me ways to improve my knowledge of car care. I found the day to be great fun and would highly recommend this course to anyone that would like to improve their car care knowledge and learn new skills.
Leather Repair & Restoration Course
I've just completed a training technician's course with Richard, James and Ian, and found the environment to be a really enjoyable one. They offer a friendly and informal workplace that is never less than professional. Well structured talks, step-by-step guidance about the Colourlock products, and advice regarding the variables of leather repair and restoration, were usefully reinforced at key points throughout the course. Constructive feedback from experienced professionals with excellent communication and training skills was also much appreciated. Strongly - and warmly - recommended.
A Great Choice
This week I completed UK Detailing Academy’s 3 day level 1 course with James. Previously I’d only cleaned my own car, so I had a lot to learn.
I was very impressed with how professional, well thought out and structured the course was, with a perfect mix of classroom theory and hands on practical learning.
The guys at UKDA have an enormous wealth of knowledge, experience and contacts in the industry.
I’m now practicing what I’ve learnt ready to return for my level 2 course.

I did levels 1 and 2 of the professional development course. If you are looking to start a career in detailing then getting trained by UKDA is an absolute must. Attended the Level 1 course and can highly recommend it. With it being 1 to 1 tuition you move at your pace and can ask your questions when they come to you. The course work and follow up contact at the end of the course sets this course apart from the others out there.
