Product details

Brand: UK Radiators

Trident T100 Central Heating Inhibitor is designed to protect your heating system from corrosion, scale, hydrogen gassing, and microbiological growth. It is a non-toxic 500ml solution that also helps reduce boiler noise. For the best results, your system should be cleansed and flushed with T300 Cleanser in accordance with BS7593:2006. The importance of treating your heating system water All heating systems are made from 2 major substances - metal and water. Oxidisation (rust) can occur inside the pipes, boiler and radiators. For your system to be efficient and healthy, this chemical reaction must be prevented - the T100 Central Heating Inhibitor does just that. Filling the system Open systems should be closed via F&E cistern (adequate draining from low point is recommended to ensure that all the T100 enters the circulating part of the system). Sealed systems : T100 should be injected into the filling loop or other access point. If the system is empty, pour T100 into any convenient point prior to filling. Cleaning Circulate T300, with all the valves open, for at least an hour. Warming the water will assist the process. Flush the system and then drain off at all drain points. Systems should be flushed in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendation. When refilling the system use T100 inhibitor. Dosing Rate T100 should be dosed at 0.5% of system volume – i.e. 500ml of T100 per 100 litres of the system’s water. For new systems, T100 should be added at the time it is first filled. Generally, one bottle contains enough for an average central heating system. For larger systems use an extra bottle of T100 - over-dosing will not cause any detrimental effects to the system. Please note: where a thermal storage appliance is fitted, allowance must be made for the increased volume of primary water. The concentration may be checked with a conductivity meter. Important Notes T100 must be left in the system. Do not add to primatic system. Always follow manufacturer recommendations when using this product. It is the user’s responsibility to determine the product's suitability.
