Typhoon - Black Designer Radiator H800mm x W476mm Double Panel Reviews

Make the radiator part of the interior Designed for customers who want the radiator to feel like part of the interior, this Typhoon Black designer radiator pairs a double panel construction with a matt surface and 14 tubes. The 800mm-high x 476mm-wide format balances practical room heating with a clean, deliberate visual presence. Why choose this radiator? Bring dependable warmth into everyday routines: Designed for a plumbed hot-water central-heating system, it provides room heating as part of your home's existing wet heating setup, helping keep the space comfortable through colder days and evenings. Bring designer heating into a compact wall area: At 476mm wide, the horizontal format gives you a contemporary designer-radiator look without demanding an especially long run of wall. Get more heating surface from the wall space: The double-panel construction places two heating panels within the same wall width, giving you more heat-emitting surface without needing a wider radiator. Buy with greater confidence: BS EN 442 certification gives you reassurance that the radiator's declared performance is assessed against a recognised radiator standard; UKCA marking provides an additional recognised product-assurance point; the 20 years guarantee adds long-term reassurance after purchase. Give the radiator a balanced designer rhythm: The 14-tube construction creates a repeated, structured face across the radiator, helping the heating feel intentionally designed rather than purely functional. Fit it in the intended orientation: This is a horizontal designer radiator and is intended to be installed in the stated horizontal orientation rather than rotated vertically, so its dimensions and layout should be planned around that position. Make the finish part of the room: The matt black finish gives the radiator a bolder, more architectural appearance, making it a strong choice when you want heating to contribute contrast to the interior. Choose valves that suit your room: Radiator valves are not included, so you can select the valve type and finish separately to suit your pipework and coordinate with the radiator rather than being tied to a supplied style. Make installation planning simpler: Wall brackets and masonry fixings are supplied with the radiator, so these core mounting components do not need to be sourced separately for a suitable masonry installation. Reduce the risk of defects reaching your home: The 9-step quality assessment process checks the product through a structured series of quality controls before it is dispatched, giving added reassurance around consistent quality and durability. Choose a finish tested for long-term durability: 200 hours of salt spray testing assesses resistance to corrosion and rust, helping provide reassurance against flaking, peeling and deterioration of the finish over time.
