I had a great experience with the support team at Ultahost, especially with Bruce Taylor. He responded quickly, understood my issue immediately, and helped me fix problems related to backups and server access without any hassle.
Everything was handled professionally and efficiently, and communication was clear throughout the process. He even followed up to make sure everything was working properly.
Highly recommend their support — fast, reliable, and very helpful. Thanks again, Bruce!

Unfortunately, my experience with Ultahost was not good at all. The VPS I purchased was completely inaccessible from Iran, and even after providing full network tests, the support team stated that the issue is at the country level and there is nothing they can do. They also mentioned that changing the IP address would not solve the problem.
In the end, the only solution they offered was to use a VPN, which makes the VPS practically useless for real work. Overall, the service was not usable and the support could not resolve the issue.

They terminated my hosting just few days of suspension without notice or waiting for a month as others do, making me lose my data and they said there's nothing they can do about it
I won't recommend this to my enemy talk more of a friend

I bought a VPS Business plan that explicitly advertised DDoS Protection. They never activated it. My server suffered an attack, taking down my clients' e-commerce sites and my whole agency infrastructure for hours. Support admitted they never installed it (Ticket #369500). Now, instead of compensating for their SLA breach and false advertising, sales agent Lucy Levine offers a $2 discount. Unacceptable infrastructure for serious businesses

Multiple servers and I've had a great overall experience. They have been reliable for me in CH. I would avoid the starter tier for VPS hosting as it's just not powerful enough and the port speeds are slow. But Business Tier and up the speeds are far better and server specs can at least handle multiple services.

I would not recommend this hosting to anyone. They are already openly saying that they don't care about you and want to move to another hosting service. I do not recommend dealing with this company. It was better before.

READ THE FINE PRINT. I would give a zero if I could. Signed up for shared windows basic hosting for my nonprofit after chatting with support to ensure that they could meet my needs. After TWO DAYS, discovered that they could not give me access to my database (something I had asked about in the chat). So I was informed by chat that I could cancel for a refund. After not receiving it, they now tell me that because I signed up for a biennial plan (WHICH IS THE DEFAULT ON THE SALES PAGE, no mention of non-refundable, says "cancel anytime") I was not eligible for a refund but they could give me CREDIT. Useless to me as they can't support my website in the way I need it (already found another host who does). In addition, they gave me WRONG information several times during the process of trying to get my refund. I would not touch this company with a 10-foot pole. Very dissatisfied with my experience. Don't make an expensive mistake, make sure you know all of the details before you buy. UPDATED: ultahost is happy to give me a credit balance for their services. WHICH DO NOT MEET MY NEEDS. So it’s a wasted gesture. Not a solution, sadly, and gives lie to the advertising on multiple review sites for “Money Back Guarantee”. That apparently only applies if you choose the most expensive month to month plan. I work for a non profit, not likely that I would do that. This is all over less than $300 by the way. You’d think they would want to refund fully but it’s against their “rules”. Their reply is another confirmation that they don’t actually stand by their marketing and are relying on the fine print that you gave to know to look for.

I want to let you know that your company is extremely evil, and the malware you spread in the name of servers will eventually come back to harm you. Karma will catch up with you all someday. Very wicked people.

**Update 12-03-2026**
They have since clarified that only basic DDoS protection is provided, with no DDoS protection specifically tailored for game servers. Therefore, the "Advanced DDoS Protection" advertised on their website applies exclusively to European locations.
If you require DDoS protection for a game server, they suggest using third-party services such as Cloudflare or DDOS-Guard, and have offered to assist with the setup.
To summarize — the information displayed on their website is incomplete. Please ensure you clarify all details directly with their support team before making any purchase.

**An Unreliable and Deceptive Service — False and Misleading Information**
**Inaccurate Information from UltaAI and the Website**
The information provided through the "Chat with UltaAI" feature and displayed on their website is unreliable and misleading. When I inquired about DDoS protection for my Dedicated Server via UltaAI, I was told that DDoS protection was available and fully supported. However, when I was actually hit by a DDoS attack, no protection was provided. Upon raising a support ticket, I was informed that DDoS protection is only available in Europe — not at the Singapore location. This critical limitation is not disclosed anywhere on their website, which continues to advertise "Free DDoS Protection" without any mention of regional restrictions. This information is only revealed through a support ticket — the sole channel where an accurate answer can be obtained.
Their support team ultimately advised me to seek third-party DDoS protection as an alternative.
**Wrong Server Specifications Delivered**
I subscribed to a Gaming Dedicated Server in Singapore with the following specifications:
- Ryzen 9 7950X3D
- 64GB RAM
However, the server I received was an EPYC machine with lower specifications, with no prior notice whatsoever. After filing a support ticket, they replaced it with a Ryzen 9 9950X with 128GB RAM. I will say that their support response time was relatively prompt — which is perhaps the only positive aspect of an otherwise disappointing experience with Ultahost.
**Conclusion**
I strongly advise exercising caution regarding their advertised features. Always verify directly through a support ticket before making any payment, and do not rely on UltaAI for accurate information. If you are looking for a gaming dedicated server with DDoS protection outside of Europe, I would recommend avoiding this service entirely.

I used Ultahost for some time until I ran into a serious issue.
Due to problems on their data center side, three out of four of my websites immediately disappeared from the control panel. When trying to open them, someone else’s site was displayed. The databases stopped working, and the websites completely ceased functioning. Support responded that the issue would be resolved soon, but the outage actually lasted several days.
As a result, one of the sites eventually started loading, but it still does not work properly — the previously configured cron jobs no longer run. The other sites are still malfunctioning: one shows a 404 error, and two display an “Index of /” directory listing, indicating that the issue was never fully resolved.
Such a prolonged outage has seriously affected the SEO and the trust of my visitors. Migrating the websites to another hosting provider during the downtime was also impossible, as the databases were unavailable at that time.
As compensation for the more than three-day outage, I was offered one month of free hosting.
In my opinion, this compensation is clearly disproportionate to the severity of the incident.
Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression of the reliability of the service.
----------------
Update: It has been 5 days since my websites stopped working, and they are still not functioning. Both support tickets I created were simply closed, even though the issues remain unresolved. The managers only refer to their terms of service, claiming they are not responsible for anything.
Offering one month of free hosting for websites that still do not work sounds like a mockery.
Think carefully before using this company’s services.

I recently had to manage a complex DNS migration to Cloudflare for my domain, and the support I received from UltaHost was top-notch. In particular, Anderson Coleman was incredibly helpful, professional, and patient. He guided me through the technical steps with precision, ensuring my email services remained perfectly functional. It’s great to know I can count on such skilled professionals. Highly recommended!

⭐ 1/5 – “Managed” VPS that is anything but managed
I purchased a one-year Managed VPS plan from UltaHost, and this has been by far the worst hosting experience I’ve ever had.
The server shuts down randomly, undergoes unexplained reconfigurations, and at one point the control panel only allowed me to start the server — no proper reboot, no control, no explanation. For a service marketed as managed, this is unacceptable and frankly absurd.
My website, which is used for a real business, has suffered multiple downtimes. The support team provides generic, copy-paste responses such as “we are investigating,” while the same issues keep happening again and again. There is no accountability, no proactive support, and no real technical competence.
To make things worse, the server IP had a poor reputation, which directly impacts reliability and email deliverability. This is something any serious hosting provider should prevent by default, yet UltaHost clearly does not.
Yes, their prices are among the cheapest on the market — but what you get in return is the most expensive outcome possible:
downtime, instability, wasted time, and complete loss of trust in the infrastructure.
I will not renew my service and am moving to a professional hosting provider. I strongly advise anyone running a production website or business to stay far away from UltaHost. This is not a hosting solution for serious use

It used to work fine in the beginning until one day the internet speed on the server dropped to below 3Mbs, I contacted the support and they requested the password, after that I lost access to the server.
Those people can't be trusted at all, the service is not reliable, in addition the windows license is expired just few weeks after we started.

Ultahost is a great service provider. I’ve been using their service for over two years and I plan to continue using it long-term in the future. They have a professional and responsive support team, and they handled my issues very well. In particular, they even suggested a better solution for me — I received support from Dextor Jason most recently. During my time using the service, I’ve rarely encountered any problems, and the infrastructure has been stable. I highly appreciate this provider.

Ultahost is an absolute nightmare of a company, and I’m appalled at their unprofessionalism and blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. I clearly requested the cancellation of all services, with a firm promise that no charges would be made. Yet, despite this confirmation, they had the audacity to charge my PayPal account AGAIN—today, of all days.
This is not just incompetence, it’s straight-up dishonesty. I’ve tried to resolve this multiple times, but it seems like they’re more interested in taking your money than actually delivering on their promises. The lack of follow-through and accountability is staggering. How can a company not honor a cancellation request? It’s a disgrace.
I will be pursuing this through every available channel, including PayPal, and I will ensure that everyone knows about this disgraceful behavior. Don’t let them fool you with empty assurances—this company clearly doesn’t care about its customers, only their wallets.
If you’re even remotely considering doing business with them, RUN. There are plenty of other hosting providers that actually respect their customers and don’t try to steal money after cancellations.
Ultahost’s service is garbage, their integrity non-existent, and their customer support a joke. Avoid at all costs.
