Tried a few affiliate plugins for WordPress before landing on UAP and ended up sticking with it. What sold me is that pretty much everything is in the box - MLM, ranks, tiered commissions, WooCommerce integration - so I didn’t have to piece together five plugins to get a proper affiliate program running. Took me a bit to get familiar with all the options since there’s a lot going on, but once it’s set up it just runs.

I’ve been using Ultimate Affiliate Pro for a few months and honestly it’s been pretty good so far. The MLM feature is great — I like that affiliates can have sub-affiliates and earn from their levels. Setup took me a bit to figure out (some options are kinda hidden), but once it’s running it works smooth. Overall, solid plugin if you want something more advanced than a basic affiliate tool.

I bought Ultimate Affiliate Pro (UAP) expecting a fully functional affiliate and MLM solution — but what I actually got was a very limited system that only becomes useful if you buy additional add-ons.

The base plugin is marketed as powerful and professional, but once installed, you quickly realize that many essential features are not included. Want to calculate commissions based on product price? Need revenue sharing with WooCommerce? Or plan to use real MLM features? All of that is locked behind their “Pro Add-Ons Bundle”, which costs extra.

This isn’t just a missing luxury — these are core functionalities for any serious affiliate or MLM system.

The way the plugin is marketed feels misleading and incomplete. Nowhere in the main product description does it clearly state that you’ll need to buy extra packages to get what’s normally expected from such a plugin.

Unless you’re ready to spend significantly more than the initial price, this plugin simply won’t deliver what you likely came for. I do not recommend UAP unless the developers start being more transparent about what's really included.

There are numerous blogs out there directing users to purchase the Ultimate Affiliate Pro software from the ultimateaffiliate.pro webpage, which you can purchase through Envato. Since Envato manages the software, I thought I would give it a try, but that was a mistake. I strongly advise against choosing Ultimate Affiliate Pro for your affiliate program as the product has numerous compatibility issues in Wordpress. Not only that, but the support team takes an unreasonably long time to respond, and when they do, they recommend disabling features of the software. To top it off, it’s impossible to get a refund for this product because they dispute it with Envato. To save your time and money, it’s best to look elsewhere. Plugins need to be tested to see if they work in your environment unless you don’t mind wasting your money. Find a reputable plugin that is not just out to scam as many customers as possible.
