Did not follow FTC Eye Glass Rule
Middletown NY location. I was pressured into purchasing a pair of eyeglasses after store hours and immediately attempted to cancel the order the very next business day and was told that it can not be done. Requested to speak with manager , who eventually contacted me a few days later and also would not refund the money. Even when I mentioned that by FTC Eyeglass rule, that they are required to provide me with my prescription, whether I asked for it or not, before attempting to sell me anything, I was not offered a full refund. Ironically, the manager then emailed me my prescription and copy of my purchase order that was not provided either on the date of sale. Manager even admitting that they do not provide prescriptions because the customer will go somewhere else to buy the glasses. If they read the FTC Eyeglass Rule, that is the very reason it was put in place. Do not go there, the frames online are 1/3 of the cost this place charges and most seem to have return policies with full refunds if you are not satisfied. I just want a full refund for the $844.
