Ultra Amateurs. Downtime and Breaking things is their best skill.

Unserious company. Ultra Amateurs, if ultra at anything at all. Ultra good at downtime? Ultra good at breaking services and not fully restoring them to how they were? They're quite ultra at that.

Only Ultra would do a 12 hour maintenances on major US holiday.

At the end of the maintenance, only Ultra would place the burden of finishing the maintenance / making customer stuff work again entirely on the customer.

You'd expect after a maintenance period to things to work as before, right? Not with these clowns.

No serious company does any of these things.

Scheduled maintenance on one of the largest US holidays? Never.

Requiring customers to un-break themselves in the end? No company ever.

This business doesn't even take themselves seriously. What a joke.

They summarily dismiss this issue in their announcements as "you may need to repair your service".

1. WHY ME AND NOT YOU? CONSIDERING YOU BROKE IT?

2. IT'S NOT AS EASY AS JUST CLICKING "REPAIR" - EVERYTHING WAS BROKEN. EVERYTHING NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. EVEN SOME SETTINGS WITHIN APPS NEEDED TO BE ADJUSTED. IT COST ME PERSONALLY HOURS TO FIND ALL THE LITTLE BITS THAT YOU BROKE.

This can not ever happen again. How will I personally ensure it? I'm never giving this company another cent of my cash. I'm deleting Ultra ASAP.

Having used Ultra, let me save you the time: Never use or support this company. Never give this company a penny. There are hundreds of alternatives, and most of them do not have such incompetent operators.

Good until something breaks.

Used them for years, fairly reliable, some blips here and there. Ran into an issue recently, i suspected due to the cloudfare issue but it's still ongoing and they (Ultrabox) couldn't confirm either way, so submitted a ticket after i couldn't fix it, their response asked me to submit a second ticket. Pointless.

Exceptional Service, Zero Hassle

I'll try to be as professional as possible here: These guys kick A$$. So responsive, so helpful, and setup to make upgrades/downgrades and migrations/transfers as painless as possible. I recently downgraded just because I didn't need the higher service I was using anymore, and there was no judgment or questioning - no retention department trying to sell me more stuff - they just did their job and got me back up and running as quickly as possible. Kudos to the team.
