Bike Insurance crap

Bike Insurance crap.

In 4 years I had 8 claims. Well leaving an a big city ofcourse you have more chances of accidents. However you decide to cancel my bike insurance just because you are not able to tell to the costumers what is the claim limits. Whats the nr? Thats does not exist on any of the Term and conditions. Well to bad for you. I am paying for this insurance so and there you cant cancels because the claims. You can raise the money for insurance but you cant cancels because I have to claim whats is to be claimed from insurance. Shame on you

Turned a one-off travel policy into a recurring annual commitment

I bought travel insurance through Unigarant in 2024 for a specific trip. The purchase flow gave every impression of a one-off transaction. Two years later I discovered I had been on an annually renewing policy the entire time, with €50+ quietly debited each March.

Renewal notices had been going to an address I no longer lived at.

If you're buying travel insurance from Unigarant, assume everything is recurring until proven otherwise.

Looks like a scam company

Looks like a scam company. They sell the insurance to you. And when you need, they will a lot of barriers to not pay you. The mail lost my secondary key and they will not pay my insurance because one key was lost. Even with images, videos, all police reports they deny the insurance. Not trustable.

Honestly

Honestly. It's a total disaster. In June, I took out car insurance with them. The premium was €35, but after three months, I suddenly received a bill for over €200, and the premium suddenly changed from €35 to €114. I am writing to them because I want to cancel this insurance, but they say I can't and that I have to wait a year, and on top of that, they are upset that I am writing to them in English. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM

Update:

I already used this online form when I made this review. Until now to response.
This week I will go ask my DAS insurance at work and ask for a lawyer.

Being treated by this horrible insurance company after a hit and run by their customer is an horrible ordeal.
Police report being made already. This insurance should have no right to exist.

2x in a row they just hang up the phone. Now I understand why people say cannot be reached by phone. I have full mobile reach with my phone provider.

Tried calling them to sign up for a new insurance and I got their assistant that gave me 4 options, gave her my information and she couldn't help me nor was I sent to a real person. This is the worst insurance ever.

Terrible insurance,
Can't believe this is accepted in the Netherlands.
You will not receive an answer by e-mail and cannot be reached by telephone.
Will definitely advise anyone not to do business with this insurance company. Unbelievable 🤬🤬

Disappointing service

I took out Zorgeloos Fietsen with Stella and its no surprise after seeing the Trustpilot rating and reviews that my claim was denied and that I get no feedback.

The Insurance terms are not very clear and misleading and you have to go through Stella to get any feedback. Problem with that is that Stella gives you the wrong information and as such we have lost a very expensive bike and can not get it replaced due to being misinformed.
