The worst bank of all time

The worst bank of all time. Multiple times that they debited amount during online transactions/transfers and will take almost forever to resolve. They kept on saying it will be resolved within 24-48 hours but to no avail. Given that I already physically visited their branch.

I initially emailed customer service to change my number. I was instructed to message Rafa of Union Bank via Messenger, not knowing it was a scam page.
My 240,000 is gone just like that. I filed a complaint, and this is the second investigation from them. They keep assuring me that someone will contact me, but to no avail. Has anyone encountered the same case? What were the results?
I am very worried.

UBP-The image of incompetence

UBP is probably the most incompetent bank there is. They never fail to have unscheduled maintenance activities EVERY payday. They only take your money but do not invest in tech improvements to serve their customers better. BEWARE of UnionBank of the Philippines!

Worst bank in Tarlac Province!!!

Worst bank in Tarlac. Very rude customer facing employees. Especially the young woman in Counter 5. She seems like an entry level rank and file. Dont put young ones in front if she does not know any manners. Very rude employee. The bank manager is also always late. I am pulling out my money from this bank. DON'T GIVE YOUR MONEY TO UNIONBANK. THEY ARE VERY VERY RUDE. I DON'T DESERVE TO BE TREATED LIKE THIS WHEN THIS BANK KEEPS MY MONEY AND USES IT!!! 🤬

Very poor customer service

Customer service at Union Bank, Marve Road is very poor. As a customer at the bank the staff are very unhelpful and uninterested in helping you. The staff need to be more attentive and helpful. Very disappointed!

So far the worst and money scheming…

So far the worst and money scheming customer service of all the banks.For the entire 20minutes the machine is the only answering the call.All my load balance completed almost 400pesos.IMPROVED YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE CARE UNION BANK.JUST FOR A.CONTACT DETAILS CHANGE.PUT BAVK THE ONLINE BANKING CHANGE CONTACT IN THE SYSTEM.YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICES IS REALLY ANNOYING. it will cost me more money!!!

To all people in the philippines please dont open account with this bank please, my daughter had a very bad experience with this bank, no wonder you only had a few client, 😡 akalain mo nakuha nyo na ang money na ipinapadala from overseas, pinapa imbestigahan nyo pa ang tao kong bakit mag ganung halaga na na recieve???? Na hold nyo na ang pera ng 45days na untill now hindi nyo pa ma ibalik,😡 pinatulog nuo ng 45days ang perang pinaghirapan ng tao.. Mahiya namn kayu UNION BANK.. KAYA SANA SA GUSTONG MAG OPEN NG ACCOUNT DITO SA BANKO UTANG NA LOOB FORGET IT 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

No wonder why u only got 1.7 ratings…

No wonder why u only got 1.7 ratings through this review site. I have been trying to contact customer service for almost a week but to no avail, you have this chat bot where we are asked to put our detailed concerns but it’s not working. I am trying to unlock my online banking and I cant as I am not able to receive an otp through my registered mobile number. I have opted to set my account to “generate my otp” and aI cant receive my otp to unblock and change the settings.

Super Bad Service

I went to their Alimall branch earlier today to ask one quick question. Waited for a long time and 7-8 people was served first, though they came later than me. A certain "Carlito" was attending the queue and he was always prioritizing those who came after me. I was asking to speak with their Manager but they won't allow me.

The guards were accommodating and guide…

The guards were accommodating and guided us on what to do. But, we left after an hour and a half of waiting. (my wife and I wanted to open a joint account.)

Their automated queueing system is useless. Anyone can click on "Courtesy Lane" and gets prioritize. The people at the counter is ok with this modern style of "singit".

"Sayang naman nasa harap ko na..." mentality of the people at the counter.

No matter how sophisticated the system or how simple the process is, it will not be successful if the people using it does not use it the way it was intended to.

Poor Programming and Poor Customer Service

The ATM had an error and did not dispense money but my account was deducted and it happened noon time on a Friday. I emailed them 2 times and sent 1 message on their "Contact Form" on their website and they replied after 7 hours.
Turns out, nobody is going to work on your concern on a Saturday and Sunday, so, if that's your last money left on your ATM, you will suffer for their inadequacies and lapses. You need to wait for Monday. What a waste of time. I hope this won't happen to anyone.

One of the worst banks

One of the worst banks. Money transfers are slow and customer service is just horrible. I’ve wasted a lot of time trying to email them for updates regarding about my money transfers and only getting a response 3-4 days after.

Currently planning on switching banks. Try to avoid Union Bank, the stress you get from this bank is not worth it.

Was excited for Union Bank until...

I was excited to have Union Bank PH because they're rated as the best online bank.

However, it's not worth all the constant "system maintenance", delays in having access to your funds and terrible response in customer service.

They don't reply to emails. On FB they only give templated answers. And they always have the same excuses for their mid-week maintenance when your account is offline for an entire workday.
