We booked the Front Lodge, Devon for the 10th to 16th August 2025 via the enquiry form directly on their website. Emilie Marlow confirmed the booking and sent the invoice the following day and 10minutes later sent another email saying ‘Please ignore the invoice sent, our calendars had not synced correctly and those dates had been booked a few weeks back 🙁’. The company have also never returned a phone call. Would not recommend.

Not good.
Booked a 7 night break for 2020. Due to corona virus it's impossible to make a decision on whether to pay the balance of the holiday which is imminent. Have requested to know what the options are or if there can be an extension on final balance date as we do want to go on the holiday.
I have emailed Unique Holiday Cottages twice now about this and have yet to receive a response. Frankly Hopeless.

A great range of cottages with good pictures of them and surrounding land. Found it very easy to book with a good email explaining how to get there and how to gain entrance to the cottage. They rang me when there was an issue with the cottage before we were due to arrive. Another had been sorted and we sent a new email with instructions like before. When I had to ring them about some details I was unsure about, they were very polite and helpful.

The System change has changed my experience with Unique totally. It has increased my workload and I ended up due to the changes missing all my enquiry emails due to them going into Junk.
I am still finding it difficult to stop them going into Junk. So I have gained 1 booking from Unique all year and that was prior to the system change which worked well for me.

I have no complaint about UHC. There is no fuss, we have plenty of bookings through them and the membership is good value for money compared to other advertising sites.

Easy to use with a great late availability area for customers to see.
Clear visual pictures with clear instructions to link to your property.

Rang up to discuss a reasonable issue with someone from the site and the lady that I spoke to was extremely rude and unhelpful. She spoke to me in an aggressive tone and quite frankly was completely unprofessional. We will be considering the renewal of our listing on the site due to the unacceptable experience that I received from them. Therefore due to the way this matter was dealt with I unfortunately couldn't give the site more than 1 star.

We have been successfully advertising our Norfolk holiday cottages on the Unique site for the last 4 years. Anna and her team are always helpful and pro active on the marketing and social media side. The site is well laid out and easy to navigate with quality photos and clear text. Updating or changing information is a simple exercise.

Great looking website, but I still get calendar issues - last experienced with the late availability page when it kept defaulting to the year 2022 not 2017! I have a brand new Mac so I can't blame that anymore, but I like being with Unique, and will be adding our new glamping cabin on to the site very soon!
Keep up the good work, and the necessary tweaking.

I have advertised my two properties (Bay Side and Beach Side, Freshwater Bay, Isle of Wight) for the past 4 years. The website provides me with a good level of guest enquiries and represents a good return on the advertising fee paid. The management team are helpful, friendly and approachable and reply to any queries I might have quickly and efficiently. Over the years the website usability has improved immensely for both potential guests and holiday accommodation owners and I have no hesitation in recommending this website to both potential guests and to holiday accommodation owners looking for a cost effective website on which to advertise their property.

An easy to use website, charging a reasonable annual fee and no commission for rentals. They run competitions for their own 'Unique' awards, which are very helpful to us on our website in highlighting exceptional features of our property

Looks fresh and modern but not as user-friendly as other similar sites.

We have had our cottage registered with Unique Holiday Cottages since their inception and we have found them to be excellent.
Whenever we have a query, it is always responded to quickly and politely.
In particular we love the look of the website and find the Late-Availability section very useful.
We have received many enquiries and bookings through the Unique Holiday Cottages website over the years and will be happy to continue to advertise with them.

We have listed our holiday cottages with the company for many years and have always found "Excellence" to be their main aim. They do actually achieve this with focus on great customer service for holiday makers and cottage owners alike !
