My dryer broke on January 7

My dryer broke on January 7. They scheduled a repair for 10 days later and then schedule the wrong time so they had to cancel that one and then reschedule a guy came out on January 22. Never plugged the dryer in never checked it and just said I’m gonna order you an element the part was in on January 27. They scheduled the appointment for January 31 and cancel schedule it for March 1 and then cancel that one and then March 2. The technician failed to appear no phone call.nothing. I asked to speak to a supervisor was told one would call me, but never did. The reason they said he failed to appear on March 2 was because they lost a part that they ordered back in January so they rescheduled me again for March 11 and then called me March 11 in the morning and told me that they had to cancel because somebody quit and they couldn’t get the part(really?) so we’ve been without a dryer for 35 days supervisor has never called. Nobody has ever said a damn thing. I will never purchase another GE product and I will never ever ever use in-home service services. 35 days and still not dryer repair . The warranty will run out before they even show up.

This company is a scam do not trust…

This company is a scam do not trust them any further than you can throw them. Zac came out made huge promises and then the crew that came out knew nothing about installing furnaces or hvac systems. They didn’t install one to fit our house nor did they address any of the issues that were supposed to be addressed. We have had three technicians out since the install who have all stated that the system that was installed is way too small for our house. But yet no one has bothered to correct the problem. We are being charged twice what we have been quoted by two other companies. We have been advised to file fraud charges and a lawsuit.

on Dec 13,Khalid Mohamad came to my house do some paper work on the Tablet: talk about install HVAC: didn't discuss how much or didn't say the prizes to install .When I saw 1 page with the prize $19,700.00, will pay $199.22 a month 180 months. the total will be $35,859.6 , Does anyone agree this amount for the very old townhouse build 1977.I moved in June 2005. We live without AC since June 2022 because we are retired, the money we receive from SSA only enough for living. I asked Khalid: is this the amount we will pay? He said "No No"the GOV Program will help Rebate everythingfor you ,don't worry anything. I ask i can pay $5,000.00 in 3 years. But I didn't hear since I sent the message to ZACK : the manager,
on Dec26. I need your answer. we really can't afford that amount you gave

Stay away from United States Home…

Stay away from United States Home Services. They are not BBB Certified.
They charged me $12,300 to put insulation in my attic. They said I needed 2 attic fans never mentioning they were $ 3,200 each. After rebates and tax credit in April, I still will owe 8,000. Having to pay $ 11,200 now.
All I wanted was insulation in my attic to help my electric bill. I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income. I thought I was going to get some help! What a joke. Please beware!

Outrageous Pricing Canceled Contract

I canceled a contract with United States Home Services the day after I signed it. 8/9/25 I reviewd the contract the next day and noticed several discrepancies in what the contractor said and what was in the contract. One thing I remember hkm saying was their company offered a 10 year warranty but come to find out in the contract all they offer is the manufacturer's warranty that you have to register for.
They rushed me to have the water heater and solar attic fan installed because he said my current water heater was about to go and the company wouldn't do the upgrade if the water heater was broken. He also said they were in the area that day so they could do the attic fan too. I was rushed and under duress to have the work done that day before I could have time to review the contract again.
They completed the work for the water heater and the solar attic fan. No QA from the company like most companies come out to do. I had to request pictures and the brand and serial number.
After I canceled the contract which was not itemized except for a description of the work to be done and a bundle price, I asked him for a price for the work that was done. I nearly fell over when he said the charges for an attic fan and a water heater would be $8,000. I had looked up the pricing online for both items previuos to him giving me United States Home services pricing. With instalation, and for both after I added in a probable 60% upcharge, the total was around $4000 combined. I asked what the charge was for the water heater alone, and he said $4000 meaning the solar attic fan was $4000 job too. The highest price online for the AO Smith water her was $1187.37 plus installation. They didn't give me the serial number or make or model for the solar attic fan but total cost for parts and installation on the highest priced fan ($800) was around $1200.
This ordeal is totally disappointing and stressful.
