The process was extremely protracted and took a VERY long time just for the travel elements.
Things that we had in the policy last time we travelled have changed but only when we specifically questioned.
Still waiting on other information that was promised 2 weeks ago.
Still waiting (3 months later) for a separate equipment cover quotation again having had exactly the same thing 2 years ago and noone has even come back to me despite 4 follow up requests direct and indirect.

Asked for a quote for a Scout ski trip. I asked some questions about what was covered, however agent could not answer them. I suggested they could refer to the insurance company, as it was obviously imperative we have the right level of cover. They declined to refer to insurer.

I was sent the renewal quote 7 days before the actual renewal - and on the day that I was going on holiday for a week! I had to deal with this from my holiday, not really satisfactory. I was offered no postponement option (there was a suggestion that if I couldn't do it then they could delay the renewal for a week). I had no time / facility to research the quote to check that it was indeed the best value for money - I have a diary date to do so next year.......

From an initial approach, I asked some questions about our renewal. After 10 days of waiting I called to ask why, but was told the original correspondent was new to the job and somebody else would deal with the matter, with copy emails etc. sent etc. , etc.

The product is fine, but the admin needs improving. I got an initial renewal invitation on 1st November, and paid by BACS on 4th November. However, I then got reminders on both 24th and 27th November saying that payment was outstanding ... :-(. After submitting evidence showing the money leaving our bank account on 4th I eventually got acceptance that we had paid, and an apology blaming "system problems". From other reviews it would seem that I am not alone.

Received several emails asking for payment for renewal despite having already made payment. Sent responses to each email but the reminders kept coming. Once payment was confirmed there was no acknowledgment of the emails I had sent or the error had been made. Not good practice for good customer service.
