$3.49 guide followed by a disputed $69 subscription charge
On 25 October 2026 I bought a Claude guide for $3.49. Three days later, on 28 October, I was charged a further $69 for what the company calls Neurona Newsletter. I did not understand that I was signing up for a subscription or that this charge would follow.
The offer advertised a 14-day guarantee. In the offer and checkout screenshots I saved, I could not find a three-day trial, a $69 subscription price or its billing frequency. Support says I accepted these terms by clicking Continue, but its replies have not explained this discrepancy.
After repeated refund requests, the company confirmed cancellation of the subscription and arranged a refund of the initial $3.49 only. It has repeatedly refused to refund the $69, offering additional access and gifts instead, which I declined.
As of 30 October 2026, the $69 remains unresolved. My bank has forwarded a transaction dispute, and I have also submitted a complaint to Stripe. I have retained payment records, screenshots and the correspondence. This review concerns the billing and refund handling; cancellation and the small refund have not resolved the larger disputed charge.
