I was able to track my orders progress and when the unlock was completed I was sent email confirmation.

I had a problem with my phone which had a lock on EE. EE told me they couldn't unlock this kind of device and that it couldn't be done. I did a research on the internet and thank God I found the Unlocking Smart website. It was the first time I used such a service and I did not know if I would be cheated, but it turned out that the company is reliable and the fact that the service was fast, I was kept informed about the status of my order from the very beginning. All information was provided fairly and clearly, and I would add that English is not my first language. However, I had no problems with understanding everything. So when I received the code I needed following the instructions of Unlocking Smart experts, I entered it and the phone was immediately unlocked! The price of this service was small compared to other sites of this type. Nobody asked me to set up an account or anything like that. I will recommend these professionals to anyone who has a similar problem. Brilliant! 5 STARS

I didn't get my unlock code within the 3 working days they originally estimated but when I queried it on the fourth day (a Saturday), they replied on the same day confirming it was still in process so should be complete by early next week. In fact I had an email with the unlock code and comprehensive instructions on what to do with it an hour later.

A really good service with a rapid response to customer enquiries that works weekends as well.

I asked Unlocking Smart for the cheapest service to unlock my S7 from Vodafone. I did try the service which they said does not always find the code. Sadly it did not find the code after 3 days. They refunded me but did recommend the 24 hour service which was double the price and that did find the right code and also found it same day. If I had known I would have used it first but it was worth trying cheaper price first. I entered the code as instructions said and now working on O2 also so it is unlocked. I would recommend the service and the times advertised was as stated so all was honest. I would be happy to use them again.

Having read the reviews on this site I placed an order for an unlock code with this company. I paid but received no communication from the company at all. After over a day I checked their website where a code had been posted without any notification. That code did not work. I entered it several times on the unlock password screen (I am not unfamiliar with this process). Each time I was informed that the code was invalid.
I contacted the site operators who refused to help or give a refund.
Or rather they would not give a refund unless I prepared a video of me entering the code and the resulting messages.Obviously nobody is going to spend hours doing that, setting up an account on YouTube and then uploading personal details just to reclaim their unlock fee.
I seriously doubt the veracity of some of the other comments on this site and I strongly recommend that you avoiding dealing with these people. There are other honest traders out there. I have lost my money and received nothing.

Update 3 Feb 2021
In the light of the wholy untruthful response posted by the company I need to add the following:
1) Yes, I have now had a (grudging) refund from the company but only after posting this review. The refund was accompanied by a demand that I delete my post in return.
2) The password required was NOT a phone owner security lock. It was for the start up screen labeled quite clearly ‘Sim network unlock pin’. Unlockingsmart have no way of "knowing" anything else.
3) The wholly false allegation that the phone is lost or stolen is a blatant lie. I have checked with my local police force and they confirm that. It continues to work well with the original sim card.
I trust that everyone can now see the pointlessly aggressive and dishonest practices of this company.
Please bear in mind that all I wanted to do was report a non functioning code on the assumption that there was an error with it. THEY chose to turn it into a fight to retain £2.95. Even then I told them that if then really needed this small sum then they had my sympathy and they were welcome keep it. I posted here as a warning of the appalling customer service I received, which surely is what Trustpilot is all about. You have plenty of choice, use unlockingsmart at your own risk.

Regarding further comments:
1) The refund was ONLY made after I had posted my review here and in the expectation that I would delete the critical post.
2) The phone is now showing as blacklisted. Strangely that wasn't the case when I checked it last Thursday on imeipro while it was working quite normally. It has only become blacklisted in the last few days which can only be done by someone with the imei number. Very strange. (If you want to argue the truth of the matter with the police I can give you the incident report number).
3) I'm sure readers here will understand that a fly by night company, apparently registered at an accomodation address, should not, and can not, have knowledge of my phone's history and has no basis for these defamatory statements.
They constantly fail to appreciate that my complaint all along was not so much that they were reluctant to refund my money but about their grossly ill mannered and aggressive replies to a simple notification that the code supplied did not work. A simple "sorry, try this code instead" would have been a quite reasonable response at that point. Why would an honest upright company behave this way? I'm sure that their responses here are doing a far better job than I ever could to prove my point.

Absolutely brilliant. New iPhone was unlocked after one working day - after 5 different people at my ‘old’ network told me it couldn’t be done! Their communication is excellent, they respond really fast to email queries, they know what they are doing, and they charge a much more reasonable price than some other companies out there. They list their prices very clearly on their website, no nasty surprises after paying an initial fee. I’m very impressed, and will definitely use them again if I need to unlock another phone.

Really impressed with this company. After trawling through the internet trying to find a legitimate company to unlock my phone with no additional costs I found this company by pure chance. Paid £15.99 to unlock a Sony Xperia. Little over 24 hours after paying I received a code via e-mail which worked instantly. Well impressed.

Undoubtedly the best experience I had. I wanted to unlock my iPhone 11 Pro Max locked to Vodafone UK. They had a very reasonable price, while other companies were quoting me ridiculous prices nearing £100. After placing my order it took a while for it to process but I could not fault this company at all, finalising the unlock through iTunes was a stemless experience as they gave me easy step by step instructions and I had no problems with them at all.
