I like the service and have been using it for a few months now, but I was shocked when I searched using the words, 'damaged American flag,' and "dirty American flag," and dozens of photos of Black people showed. WTH is the meaning of this? It feels wrong.

Unsplash was a way for photographers to show some of their photos and get known. Later it was sold to Getty Images, so, who knows if Getty is not selling the photos from Unsplash that are free? On the other hand, photographers don't get paid at all there, so, better build your own website , even if not paid, your photos are always YOURS!

WHY does it say "free images" on the link on page 1 of google, and when you select the "free" image you want it asks you to pay $4/month for it?? LIES

I looooooove Unsplash. It's where I download free and amazing images. I am a graphic designer and this is a veeeery BIG help to me. Thank you!

Great website. I don't upload pictures to the site and I don't have an actual account, so I'm sorry for those who rated this one star but they were trying to do something different from what I'm doing. This website is great, as I said before. Full of high quality pictures and there aren't any watermarks on the photos that state oh hey, this picture is from unsplash.com, like what istockphoto.com does.

Just read in article and underneath it said it came from unslpash.com. who ever wrote the article about best places to eat in Spokane is a dumb a##. None of these restaurants exist. Never seen someone spend time on bullsh##.

Unfortunately there is no safe filter so totally unsuitable for children to sue who are into photography and design. And also if you don't personally like to see sexually explicit content then this place is a bit of a minefield. Personally, If it had a safe search on this website would be flawless. But I have to knock off 3 stars even though it has so much good photos

Unsplash is very well designed and easy to use. I am both consumer and creator for them, and it’s so nice to see stats about views and downloads of each particular photo. You can really see how you are giving back to community and making world a slightly better place when donating high-quality work for Unsplash. Also, once had to contact the support team and they were really friendly, too. Oh, and the mobile app is amazing. ☺️

it is good, but the pictures is few, hope it can be more

Unsplash offers curated copyright-free stock photos. They also offer a nice API so developers like me can enrich their web & mobile apps only crediting the author in exchange (that's for the API only). For photographers and visual artists, they are a supportive social network that cultivates work which appeals to the general public.

They've built a service that connects media outlets, app developers, blogs, start-up companies, and anyone else looking for stock images with a meritocracy-based photographer community. It's insane how great this market fit is. If anyone came to me with this idea when they started in 2013, I would have dismissed it immediately. Their service is really disrupting the niche of stock photo sales.

I only wish Unsplash would expand into stock videos with the same process they now have for photos.

Unsplash is incredible! A fantastic bank of stunning pictures taken by great photographers! I has really helped me with my blog and I hope in turn I can help photographers' gain exposure when I credit their photos.

I was hoping that Unsplash would contact me. I have registered and had a confirmation email. Confirmation is ticked on my account but I am unable to get any photos up and there seems to be no way to contact them.
Pixabay is really easy to use. What is wrong with Unsplash?
