Untold dubai sold expired water bottles from last year festival for 25aed and charged 100aed per day for parkings without even mentioning the parking fee up untill the last moments. Security was very rude and unhelpfull stages were too far away from each other. There is no place to sit even 5mins. Drinks are overpriced. Music is extreemly laud specially the base and woofer is so laud that you can not hear anything else

Very bad experience. They could easily knife you in the toilet if you are christian. Don't go there! It's very dangerous!

The festival could be nice but it’s way too crowded. If you need to go to the toilet you are in big trouble cause you have very high chances of doing it in your pants before entering the toilet. There are big queues for everything from toilet to food, drink or top up.
If you want to see a famous singer/dj you should be there minimum 2 3 hours before cause they close the stages due to the high number of people. The crowd formed outside the big stages is insane and you can barely walk through.
Also there are lots of children ( like babies in strollers and lots of kids under 10).
They still have to figure out how to organise it better..

Not the festival it was. I have been 3 times now but the greed of the organizers destroyed the festival. It is a very expensive festival, not bad if you see the good line up, but the massive greed of the organizers was the reason I did not get to see all 3 of the artists I went for. It is so over booked that there is an stop for entrance to the main stage. They let you stand on the staircase outside the stadion for hours just to miss the artist most people are coming for. The years before it was never like this but from 2025 it is just not worth the trip and money. Everywhere in the world where I have been to festivals you could see the performance you came for, maybe from the back if you arrive late, but you can enjoy them. At Untold Cluj they just leave you waiting outside and waste your money. Such a shame to destroy what once was a fantastic festival. Shame on the investors.

Staff is very rude, not enough toilets, really long waiting time for bar, too many children l! Tried once and will not come back.

I have attended every edition so far and I can only say that Untold Festival is the highlight of my year every year since 2015. I am originally from Cluj-Napoca but have been living in Germany since a young age, this doesn’t stop me to get to Cluj every year for the 3rd best festival in the world. Also the overall prices at the festival and for tickets are most likely the cheapest of the top festivals in Europe which is a big positive for foreigners wanting to enjoy a top 3 festival for cheap.

Total scam. You buy tickets but there is a huge fee to check-in to the festival (around 10-20% of ticket price depending on the way you check-in). So there is actually no option to use the purchased ticket without paying extra.

Organisation is quite messy, I paid extra for VIP parking to be closer to entrance, following which I was sent to walk quite a few blocks all the way back to general entrance because my ticket was general entry. Whats the point in VIP parking then? If you are buying water from a booth closer to stage, they sell it 5 times the price of same water 50 meters after the stage, pretty ridiculous! The schedule is not observed and nobody knows whos playing and why the guy doesnt correspond to the one who was/is announced, no timely online updates.

Untold Festival wants to be international but won´t even translate most of the signs inside the Festival area into English. Most of the people inside the Festival could not speak English which made the Festival itself sometimes pretty irritating and led to miscommunication and a lack of help.

The Dorm they suggested staying in was terrible and harmful to health. I have stayed in Dorm V.
My bathroom was full of mold, the wardrobe was falling apart, there was tape on the bunkbeds and broken furniture and broken floor tiles everywhere. By asking for a new room, they were overwhelmed and said they were already full and there was no way I could change.

I can not confirm that the festival inside is expensive as I compared it to other festivals around Europe.

The biggest problem I had at the festival, was that some people did not like the usual "Festival Outfits" coming from the Western side of Europe, which means.. showing more skin than usual. People have been throwing water at women, calling them several names, and have been disgusting towards them while Untold itself posted their nudity on its Social Media sites.

I am well aware that Untold itself has nothing to do with that cultural shock most women have gone through this weekend, but it would be nice to have at least some security nearby to feel safer.

Once you've bought your ticket you are obligated to install the Extasy app in order to get access to your ticket. This doesn't make any sense, but of course this Extasy-app is from the same owner as Untold festival ;-/
I didn't know about this Extasy app and because the information on internet about how to get the ticket/bracelet is very confusing I (stupidly) ended up putting some "deposit" on my ticket; hoping that this would give me access to my ticket; wrong!
In an attempt to correct my mistake I immediately sent some mails to Untold asking to withdraw this transaction but the answer was negative.

I received countless mails form Untold in which they encourage customers to upgrade their ticket (more money, hehe). I don't understand why these mails are only written in Romanian; very poor for such a big international event.
Unbelievably disappointed about the organization of this festival that is hosting the greatest artists after all!!

Is so unorganised I cannot find the schedule from their main stage as they dont giving but only the main stage schedule and not the other stages...
The check in is so unorganised as well
