A high-end platform for high-end African pieces of art

Sarah spent years getting to know Nigerian artists whose amazing artwork now finally has a platform so that a larger audience can admire their creativity. I love how Sarah puts the artists and their work in the spotlight, how she visually celebrates their pieces and tells their stories authentically. Sign up for her website newsletter, and try to get your hands on the beautiful book she produced! I gifted one to my parents and ever since they cannot wait to see Nigerian paintings for themselves.

A must-have on Nigerian painting.

At last, a book offering a wide range of Nigerian artists!
This immense country is bursting with talents, and this book allows us to discover many of them.
The portraits of the artists and the examples chosen show the diversity of pictorial creativity in this incredible country, with its diverse influences and varied techniques.
This book makes you want to find out more about each of them.
The biggest risk? Buying lots of paintings!

A very unique book with beautiful illustrations on state of the art painters in today’s Nigeria. Nigeria is indeed at the forefront of contemporary African creation in painting. Personalized conversations with each of the artists brings additional depth to the book. An excellent reading and a beautiful present to offer.

Dear Jean-Charles,

Thank you for this thoughtful note.
I’m glad the book conveyed both the strength of Nigeria’s artistic scene and the intimacy of each voice. It means a lot coming from you.

Warmly,
Sarah
