I was searching for a place to buy and sell bitcoins as well as an option of having an e-wallet. Found upay on google. read some reviews both positive and neg. Decided that their price outweighs the somewhat angry people.

Personally enjoyed the customer service. For me, it was smooth and quick. The ladies that I spoke to were super sweet. Tried transferring some cash here and there and it all worked flawlessly.

This company is BLACK MAIL company!
They blocked 50K and told me that will unblock just when i will pay tham 15 k!DONT TRUST THEM!DONT WORK WITH THEM. Moorwand company covering all there frud actions!

EXCELLENT AND TRUSTED PAYMENT SERVICE PROVIDER

Been using UPayCard for several years already, they have their ups and downs, but overall they are okay. I am waiting for their cards to be live to continue using them.

I got an issue recently with my outgoing wire, and got panicked, but their nice agent Erica calmed me down and said it should be fixed in few days. I really hope they do, if not i will be the next one posting a huuuge review!

It was annoying and tedious to get signed up, but recently I was sent multiple emails that they were going to close my account due to the contract or something and so I requested a withdrawal of my money and it is still pending 3 weeks later. This is the same kind of scam I got from a broker who stole people's money. Here's the chat:

(me); I want to know why my withdrawal request on 9 July is still pending.
Mike: Please provide your email address, username and date of birth registered with your UPayCard profile
03:43:28 (me): (done)
03:45:38 Mike: Thank you. Please be informed that your outgoing bank wire transfer request is on pending status as our bank is doing compliance verification of our account, this is ordinary check. We are currently waiting full updates from our Financial Department.
03:46:10 Mike: We understand your concern and the query was input as a high priority. Once we receive full updates, your wire will be completed as soon as possible
03:46:56 (me): That sounds like someone is going to take my money. It should not take more than 5-10 days.
03:48:31 Mike: Please be informed that UPayCard is an official payment solution and we provide security to all our customers. As any financial institution, all banks takes part of a compliance verification and your wire will be completed
03:49:44 (me): When I sent the money it didn't take that long. And "as soon as possible" means anything from 1 day to 1 year. Since I was told (with no reason) my account was going to be closed, I want my money!
03:51:13 Mike: Yes, of course. Our bank will provide us with an update and your wire will be completed before the account be closed. Kindly allow us some time in order to receive full confirmation from the person in charge

And why the heck do they need to do "compliance verification of our account"? Isn't their account ok? (probably out of money)

Upaycard would not honor bank wire request

I have been a customer of Upaycard for over a year. To be fair, up till now it was excellent. I got BTC payments and it was a place for me to convert the crypto to euro. It was working like a clock. Till my last withdrawal to my bank account request.

I started worrying, when my money did not reach my bank account within 3 days, as it used to be. Checked my account and found out, that money has been deducted, but my transfer is pending.

Customer support first tried to say that it takes 3 days, not including the day transfer was requested to process. Fine. On Friday got in touch with them again, asking to check the status. Agents this time said your transfer will be done ASAP. Came Monday, the same story - your transfer will be done ASAP. But when it is ASAP?

I requested a refund of my money in BTC, as I have exchanged BTC to Euro to make the transfer. This time agent told me, that it can be cancelled, but the currency exchange would not be possible due to upgrade..

Asked when the upgrade should be finished - agent could not provide any more information.

So, basically....

Upaycard does not honor the requested payout. When asked for a refund, they say I would not be able to exchange the euro to BTC. Therefore, there is no means to get my money back from Upaycard.

So, it looks like I have lost my money. Thank god, it was just 880E.

Beware of these people...
I was in the process of opening up an account with them, found the whole thing wildly overdone and tedious, and decided to stop that and find less zany pastures elsewhere.
So I told them to stop the procedure and close the account.

But that's not the issue...
I have documented proof that after they pretend to close your account, they STILL conserve (illegally) and fiddle with your personal financial information that they're aware of, i.e. documents and information you provided during their ridiculous "verification" procedure. To what end? I have no idea, but again, I do have proof of this.

I'm mulling whether or not going the route of legal action against them, as they don't have any right to not only keep, but use, financial information once an account is (supposedly) closed.

Become their customer at your own risk...

They allowed a company that has refused to pay me money to create an account for me to pretend to pay me and although it's under my email with no authorization from me I cannot verify whether there's an actual transfer in progress. My bank states nope. This company has linked with several companies who have scammed people. Several other individuals have been scammed and this company is assisting.

They will never give you your money. Will reject documents over and over for no reason at all.
