I have bought a perpetual licence in 2023, and I still cannot use it because of some stupid email address problem. The support cannot sort it out, and does not propose any solution. I have to imagine solutions. Lost money, no support.

I recently tried UPDF, and I must say its user interface is top-notch. The design is clean and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. Editing PDFs has never been easier; the tools are responsive and comprehensive. The OCR feature is particularly impressive, accurately converting scanned documents into editable text.

However, there are a few downsides. It struggles with Arabic text the OCR doesn’t support Arabic, which is a significant drawback for users needing this functionality. Additionally, the general handling of Arabic PDFs isn’t as smooth as it should be.

Overall, UPDF is an excellent tool for most PDF needs, especially if Arabic isn't a requirement. I'd rate it 5 out of 5

I have used UPDF for several years.
As an IT professional, graphic designer, and technical writer my requirements for a PDF viewing and editing application are demanding. It's the utility I use to modify, annotate, sign and view PDF documents, and includes lots of features that make demanding PDF manipulation tasks easy.

I believe in the company because they are responsive to customer requests and update the application frequently.

UPDF isn't perfect, but it comes close. The application's capabilities and price make it an excellent choice for people needing a powerful and user-friendly PDF viewer and editor.

I have been using UPDF Pro for two + years and I give it a MEH at best. It’s constantly NAGGING me to update, upgrade, sign-in. It’s very limited to the number of devices I can use it on. I just need a PDF editor to do specific tasks and I need to be able to use it on my numerous devices, one at a time. But NOOOOO!!! UPDF nags me to sign out of the last device I used it on so I can sign into the device I’m using. Annoying is an understatement! Save your money. As soon as I find an alternative, I’m gonna move. UPDF is a PAIN!!!

I really like this app, I use it everyday.

I was looking for a perpetual PDF alternative ant this is the perfect one. Great interface, great price, perfect for managing, i just hope that i will also get updates for future versions

UPDF is an excellent PDF conversion app for images and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents. The summaries of PDF files are a time saver, and paraphrasing of complex documents adds to its content's overall simplicity and refinement. And the Price compared to Adobe Acrobat is much better. However, the OCR conversion of PDF documents could be improved because it changes the fonts in the final converted document and does not transfer well to other documents with a different font. Otherwise, I believe that UPDF, compared to Adobe Acrobat, is the second-best PDF conversion and management software available for the researcher and scholar on the retail market today!

I have been using UPDF for approximately 2-3 months, and I am compelled to share my disappointing experience. The software did not meet my expectations in terms of functionality and usability. Additionally, I found the constant barrage of emails and advertisements extremely irritating.

A particularly troubling aspect of my experience is the discovery of their unethical practice regarding reviews. UPDF offers free months of service in exchange for positive reviews, which explains the misleadingly high ratings they have received. This tactic is unfair and compromises the integrity of objective evaluations.

I received an email with the subject line: “Enjoy a Free Gift by Leaving a Good Review for UPDF!” Such behavior is unacceptable and indicates a lack of confidence in their product’s quality. Good software should not need to resort to such measures to obtain positive feedback.

Due to these reasons, I can only give UPDF one star. Their approach to manipulating reviews is unethical, and their product failed to deliver a satisfactory experience.

the OCR does not support Hindi and other 23 indian languages this is a draw back

Its fantastic app for PDF. Its a great great alternative of Adobe. Recently I bought its perpetual license. Its umm ❤️❤️.

The simplicity but with featured pack features that beat any other open source or paid software in the market. I would suggest to try it once and exprience the ease of use.

UPDF Pro was recommended to me by a member of a local IT company when I was looking for an alternative to Adobe. At a fraction of the cost with no monthly fee I get to edit pdf files and create new ones without a single issue. I could not ask for a better product. It reminds me of Adobe from back in the day. Plus, the addition of the AI assistance for those interested adds another level of value without a Major price upgrade.

It is quite sufficient and fast to use in my daily work. It is also nice that it is always up to date. I think a little more development is needed for artificial intelligence.

The need for an alternative to Acrobat led me to acquire a UPDF licence. It has comparable capabilities, a fairly modern screen, and some decent artificial intelligence features, though they are limited. This app only works with two computers and two devices, which is really annoying because I need to install it on a third device. Actually, high-resolution screen displays, like 4K and above, have a flaw that needs fixing. There was a belief that the proposed plan wasted valuable space. Recognising the icons is a real challenge due to their small size and lack of clarity. In order to make the application user-friendly, it needs to be designed to adapt to different resolutions. After coming from Acrobat, I must admit that the icons aren't very familiar due to my lack of experience with it. Regarding the signature feature, the iPad's sophisticated Apple Pencil has not been fully utilised. A "cheap" impression is given by a delayed response and unsmooth lines. It would be great if the next update could enhance performance even more.

Hello, I purchased UPDF for editing PDF pages but I am doing everything as destcribed video for editing but I can not do it. The problem is, I can not delete the words written on the PDF, and consequently, I can not insert new text. Could you please help me URGENTLY?

Great Software but will I get the big updates (upgrades) if I purchased the perpetual version?

I know the website says that I may not get the upgrades it's a bummer! Otherwise I would have purchased the lifetime perpetual version.

Can someone confirm/promise if I will get the upgrade/big updates in the perpetual version?
