Quickest fit to fly

I needed a fit to fly soon and Updoc delivered it within a few hours stating all the info on the letter head with a doctor’s signature so it’s acccepted by the airline.
It was very prompt and effortless, like scrolling on the phone.

An excellent outcome

Not happy at all, they need to do better.

I requested an ESA letter from Updoc as my accommodation needed documentation for my cat otherwise they would ask me to re-home her. I waited 10 days - when their website says no more than a 12hr wait - and after chasing them up twice, I was told that the practitioner probably hadn’t reviewed it yet because my application might not be suitable for this kind of letter. I asked for their guidance on what kind of letter would be suitable and they didn’t reply and issued me a refund. I then asked why my application seemed to be “rejected” when I’ve been told the practitioner hasn’t reviewed my application yet, to which they said that all of sudden the practitioner had reviewed it. I’m extremely upset by the way this has all been handled, especially when I told them a few days in that this was an urgent matter. Although I appreciate the refund, they have been unhelpful, rude, neglectful & not held up the standards they have set-up for themselves which has outrightly effected me and my situation, as this has created a massive delay.

UPDATE: After reading Updoc’s reply, I thought I’d update my review. As I said previously, I did receive a full refund which I was thankful for. However, after chasing them up a second time they suggested a housing letter, to which I was unsure if that would be enough for my accommodation - so I expressed to them that I was unsure, explained my situation in more detail, and asked for further guidance, to which I was ignored. I received a reply saying my refund had been issued (which I hadn’t requested, nor did I believe the situation was at a stage of a conclusion yet). So yes, they recommended another letter for me, but ignored me when I asked for further help/guidance. After explaining my mental health and the urgent situation I was in I would have expected more help and empathy considering their high rating on Trust Pilot and the major delay I had already experienced.

Following this review, we immediately issued you a full refund, which was processed and confirmed. Before doing so, our team also discussed facilitating alternative letter options through your Partner Doctor that might better suit your situation, including a Housing Support Letter, but you confirmed that this would not be appropriate for your needs.

Cancelled my subscription

Cancelled my subscription, had emails to confirm that I was cancelling as they could not help me so no need for service. I’ve just been charged. Notifying my bank & will report to Trading Standards standards if this is not resolved.

Travel certificate

Cannot fault Updoc, easy to navigate website, excellent speedy service when needed and back up for insurance company/airline to check if needed. Pricing is cheaper than an NHS GP if they did these letters but few do now. Peace of mind Updoc can give you what you need and acceptable within the travel industry.
