The mentor I had was very new and didn't quite have enough experience. Even if I had all the informations that I needed, some things were left in a bit of a haze. Overall it was a good experience and I did get in the university of my choice, but they should prepare the newer mentors better.

High-quality service!

Keeping up with school and preparing for the final exams may already seem very overwhelming to a teenager. What if, apart from all of this chaos, you want to study abroad? It seems nearly impossible to cope with searching, taking the right decision, facing stress and pressure. Looking back on the entire process, I do not know whether I could have been able to manage all the time-limited tasks needed to be accepted to my desired university alone. Not only have I felt the mentor and the educational coordinator involved in my entire journey, but also the entire background team. They offered me unconditional support, trying to find the most suitable approach to any challenge, always discussing and seeking the best solution to my uncertainties.

I highly recommend them!

The company is unique in that it focuses on establishing a strong and effective collaboration between experienced mentors and students. The mentors concentrate on the students' goals and place a strong emphasis on the students' abilities and skills and how they can be developed. Tudor and I worked very well together while preparing for the Cambridge Graduate Medical Course interview. I appreciated that he offered me advice based on his own experience as a Cambridge applicant and Cambridge Medical student, while also focusing on my specific academic needs or requests.

We have been with upgrade for a long time and always admired how they are constantly innovating and improving their service. When we started only a handful of mentors were doing all the prep. Now they have specific mentors that have studied the same subject t the same target university as the student. I think that insider know how in the admission process is very valuable. They have also revamped the community aspect giving value outside of what’s required for admission with internship opportunities and academic workshops.

The only drawback is that constant innovation sometimes creates some disruptions in service or more changes than optimal but worth it in the end.

I don't know about people applying to the UK and EU, because my daughter applied to the US, but for US applications Upgrade is definitely the best support a mom can get. My daughter did very well in high school, so she was aiming for a top school in the US - Stanford or Ivys. The mentor from Upgrade was a Harvard alumn, and he was very inspiring. My daughter is a perfectionist and needs lots of encouragement, and she got that from Upgrade every step of the way. Actually, she decided to submit some more applications right before the deadline, and the strategist, Tinu, was nice enough to connect on a moment's notice and be there with my daughter up until the deadline.

Overall, the coaching was world-class, and the responsiveness and dedication of the team were wonderful.

Highly recommend to anyone shooting for the stars in the admission journey.

I recently finished being an Upgrade Education student with my acceptance to Princeton University. Upgrade Education provided me with the means to learn the skills for applying to US universities: writing coherent essays while conveying my thoughts in the best manner, organizing my schedule to make the most out of time (considering my application, exams, and extracurriculars), and choosing the most suitable university for me. My mentor, Bianca, supported me even outside classes with advice and encouragement, and after tens of hours of working together, I also made a good friend. Studying at Upgrade was more than a way to get to my dream university; it was an experience of personal development. I strongly recommend Upgrade Education to any student who needs guidance on their path to university!

I am extremely pleased with upgrade academy. It has provided my son with the guidance that he needed to realize his dream of applying to university in the united states. They have been helpful with every step of the process, from writing essays, to asking for recommendation letters, to filling in the financial aid information. I recommend upgrade academy to anybody who is interested in applying to university.

We learned about the Upgrade academy program from friends and chose to work together after a discussion with a counselor. My son is in the 11th grade and is now preparing for the SAT exam which will help him apply to Universities in Europe. The path up to here meant a lot of energy and passion from the Upgrade team, from professional counseling to discussions with students from prestigious universities. The relationship between my son and the counselors is empathetic and professional, and the communication and feedback sessions are very relevant. I am glad that we have this experience that I recommend.

My daughter told me about this agency last year when she was in the 11th grade. This year I participated with her to an event made by Upgrade Education and we decided to work with them. The carrer counseling helped her to choose what she wanted to study and right now she is working with a mentor to apply for EU universities and the process is going great.
