Full of excuses

Full of excuses. I was waiting for a delivery from ups
unfortunately I missed it so they left a card and ticked the box It says we will try the next business working day.
One week had gone by if you look at the small print on the back of the card you will find a number I phoned ups.
I got through to someone I explained what happened
I gave him my details and to my amazement the delivery man left my item at a pick up point on the same day he tried to deliver my item.
Why did he do that?
He left a card ticked the box saying they will try again the next business working day and decides to leave my
item at a pick up point. Why???
How was I to know my item was sitting in a sweet shop
for over a week.
Terrible service on behalf of UPS,Shame on you driver
move over and let someone else do your job.
I’m definitely sure someone else would appreciate they
still have a job in this day and age.

AWFUL; TERRIBLE; PLEASE do not use UPS

PLEASE do not use this service. I know UPS will ignore any complaint made as it is obvious from the reviews that UPS is one of the worst companies out there. Our very brief story - booked UPS and sent a parcel within the UK clearly marked [FRAGILE] on all 6 sides, and 3 [THIS WAY UP] signs.
The parcel was delivered on its side, clearly it had been squashed and the box and contents were broken. No reply from customer services or from the CEO / President. He is Mark Vale and his email address in case you wish to complain directly is his name with stop inbetween, then @ then ups dot com but I wonder why he even exists if he does not want to help his customers?

PLEASE, for the sake of your customers, don't use this organisation

Do they even understand how to move an item from one point to another? I doubt it. Time line: Item collected from supplier at 6.25pm on 1st of March in Utrecht (Netherlands). 7.32pm the same day "Your package is being processed at the clearance agency". 9.41pm (still on the same day) "Your package has cleared customs (Utrecht, Netherlands) and will be placed on the next available departure". So far great. Move on to 3rd March at 4.33am "Your item was released by the customs agency". Still on 3rd March but move forward to 9.47pm. "Your package has cleared customs (Utrecht, Netherlands) and will be placed on the next available departure". How many times does a package need to clear customs before they can be bothered getting it to the customer?

UPS are shocking

UPS are shocking. Collect your items, fail to deliver them, then lose them, then will not answer your calls or return your calls. They are without doubt the worst courier service on the planet

Unusable Parcel Service

Parcel recently dispatched to me through this UPS, I genuinely hold my head in my hands every time a supplier selects this outfit. Parcel delayed due to BREXIT (fair enough). "Sign Now" request link received via e-mail (assume due to COVID), but link doesn't work and sends you to Change Delivery Page. It transpires one needs to sign up to completely unnecessary mobile APP and validate identification through 15 different routes and still cannot get the parcel delivered. Customer service line takes hours to get through on and then got cut off mid-enquiry.

History is littered with companies that couldn't deliver on their core competency (i.e. delivering parcels), I for one cannot wait for it to claim this one.

Please withdraw from the market.

It is always sad when people lose their jobs but in this case it is a necessary evil. This company needs to fold.
I have contacted them by email their website phone (automated) phone (actual people) text and on facebook. I have offered to pay for another carrier to complete my delivery. Now i am exploring the possibility of forming a support group who could perhaps take a class action against UPS . Any suggestions on how to get my package from just a few miles down the road would be appreciated.

This is for the the (CEO) Chief…

This is for the the (CEO) Chief Executive Officer of UPS!
Close up shop your company is worse than C R A P!
Badly managed and running out of runway! Disaster ahead i will just add to the 92% bad reviews...
sub standard couriers you used to transport a fragile item which was clearly labelled as FRAGILE was destroyed? Nothing new reading through the reviews already made!
I can only imagine what was going through the idiot's mind when he destroyed my fragile item or can't they read plain English??
UPS the greatest let down in couriers collected my fragile item and they continued to do what they do best and destroy peoples fragile goods! I work as a courier myself and if an item says FRAGILE it gets treated as FRAGILE!! Not like the idiot's transporting my goods who obviously just threw it about!! outdated and incompetent company should give up there day job because they are not very good at it and that proved to be obvious and continues with fat cat CEO doing nothing about it.

Failed to delivery Friday , Failed to delivery monday , failed to delivery tuesday - Now it says address incomplete or missing - You can find any address in the Uk with a name or number and a postcode - I have had this before with them. I have emailed the company I bought from of this poor service.

Terrible customer service and shipping guarantees are ignored

I shipped a parcel of urgent documents yesterday by guaranteed next-day delivery (by 12pm). It didn't arrive so I checked the tracking number and it simply said 'Delay' and now my parcel is due for delivery the following day instead. No one contacted me to let me know of a delay or give me the option to pick my parcel back up instead.

I phoned up the support line and waited for 10 minutes in a call queue. When someone answered, he took my tracking number and put me on hold for another 8 minutes and never came back.

I called back and waited another 10 minutes in a call queue to speak to 'Chris' who was very unhelpful. He said there had been some kind of issue at the warehouse and my parcel would now be delivered the next day. I explained this wasn't acceptable as I had paid for next-day delivery. I asked to collect the parcel myself and he said this was not possible either. In all this call took 1 hour (including lengthy hold time) and at the end, he said he would put me through to a manager and put me back on hold for another 8 minutes. No one ever picked up the call.

This all seems all the more farcical as I was only shipping this item from Croydon to Brixton - a journey of about 45 minutes by car. I honestly wish I had just taken the letter myself but wanted to avoid travelling because of COVID. I think UPS must be going for a 'Worst customer service of the year award'. They definitely get my vote.

ONE MONTH DELAY AND NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER

I have been waiting for my shipment since the 8th of February, with no explanation as to why the delay, dreadful customer service and no reply whatsoever to any of my emails. Certainly first and last time that I send anything through this company.

A few days later...

UPS and its facewashing strategy: they sent me an email, saying that they would sort it, and still nothing. It has been a month since I sent the boxes and they still haven't arrived. Nobody has contacted me as to why this is happening, I have sent several emails to several directions and no reply. On the phone they say that "someone will contact you in 24h", well... it's the fourth time and still NO CONTACT!!!

Unacceptable service.

Why can't we give no stars?

How has such a well-known and previously well-regarded company fallen to this level? My tale of woe is so similar to many on here. Parcel entrusted to UPS, gets part way to destination, stops tracking, enquiry made.

At this point the CS agent says she will open an internal enquiry so I describe in detail the parcel and contents. Fortunately the parcel is quite large and distinctive, not simply a brown box. CS chat ended and transcript received by email. I patiently wait the ten days I'm advised the enquiry will take before I can claim.

This morning check on progress as I've received no update or claim forms. Now I'm advised by the CS agent that the enquiry has not been opened as I hadn't supplied the details of the packaging and contents. I refer her to the chat transcript and eventually (18 minutes wait) she agrees that the enquiry HAS been opened but it will still be another 14 days before it can be progressed. I could walk to the Exeter depot and check for myself in that length of time!

They say the measure of a company is how they react when something goes wrong so why can't we give no stars as that's an accurate reflection of their competence.

Terrible

Terrible. Both the items we just sent out were broken in transit and were returned to us. UPS after much reluctance and pushing said they were sending an inspector however a driver arrived he said he had to take the goods away. He couldn't have been ruder or less helpful if he tried. He said he had no idea what would happen next.

Do not use

Do not use, absolutely the worst company you can consider. Absolute abysmal customer service. Not one of the 9 operatives knew what to say or do. One of them pretending like she knew and sent me a list of forms to be filled in (not one of them was relevant). They’ve returned my package twice, and I have met the requirements every time. And then the second time the parcel came back completely damaged, and items inside were all broken, no customer attention notice like they “informed me” of. No no no, avoid avoid avoid! Do not use this disgusting company. Can’t believe trading standards allow such poor companies to operate.

THE WORSE courier EVER

The parcel was returned back with the note that docs were missing, AFTER the docs - inserted securely in a pocket - were taken out! I always have had problems with UPS (unreliable tracking, delays, deliveries not made) and this is really the very last time I use them. They must employ truly idiotic people (those who cannot read and write), and the occasional thug, too! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Lost sensitive documents - Poor and Unprofessional

This is the 2nd time in a row that UPS have lost our sensitive Personally Identifiable documents. The tracker says 'delivered' but it has never arrived. It also fraudulently claims I signed for the document which is a lie as i never received anything. When i called customer service I was asked to fill a claims form but when I put my tracking id in it says that I cannot make a claim. This seems to always be the case and UPS always try to blame the sender and never take responsibility or even assist with investigating the matter. If this has been lost or delivered to the wrong place then UPS has exposed us to fraud and cannot be trusted as a logistics company. Poor and unprofessional.

the worst delivery company ?.....

is this the worst delivery company out there?
took 5 days to deliver a parcel from London to me, 60 miles, this for a 'express service charge'
What really happened is that it was put on the lorry at 8.13 am and then the driver couldn't be bothered to finish his load on a Friday, so it stayed on there until Monday.
is this the only company that doesn't deliver on the weekends ? I can see why Amazon don't use them, absolute rubbish....

Parcel scam

I paid ParcelHero £31 for a delivery which they subcontracted to UPS.
I made sure the measurement was correct and put the weight as being more than it actually was to be on the safe side.
One week later they tell me I owe £124 for an overweight parcel.
I have appealed this and will continue to do so as they cannot supply any backup calculation (it's a SCAM). I will also challenge any charges to my credit card.
Clearly they have done this before. Go direct to a reputable company and make sure you take the measurement photos specified in their T&Cs.
AVOID UPS and Parcelhero.

Delivery rescheduled fri 26 Feb (take day off work). 24 Feb..rescheduled Delivery Mon 1 Mar..(change day off work).......it turned up today 24 and left on front of porch, and no signature given. No replies all the way through, even though numerous ones were sent.

Useless!!

Sent 2 parcels within a couple of days of one another and dropped off at the same UPS Access Point. Both collected same day albeit, one in the morning, one in the afternoon.

First item arrives at destination but broken and looking through the restricted items it now turns out I won't be covered for this and I extensively searched on their site before I even committed myself to sending with them.

Second item now seems to be lost in the ether, my only assumption is they can't be bothered as it was quite a bulky item.

Customer service is the most pointless thing in existence. Can't provide any kind of updates with the tracking number, try and file a claim online to say I need to contact via phone.

I wouldn't recommend at all.

I have an open claim with them which has been approved and 4 weeks later I'm still waiting to receive the money for the lost item. Customer service have said their is a backlog in claims so what does this say about their service if they have a high volume of open claims.
