From my very first contact with Upstix, everyone was polite and so helpful. The communication received from Kris was second to none. He always called when he said he would or if he was unable to would ensure one of his colleagues kept us updated as to what was going on. We felt that everyone was on our side and rooting for us to get the best possible outcome. Upstix have enabled us to be able to offer on our forever home and we are so grateful to Kris and his team for all of their help and support.

Updated following a conversation with Upstix;

A polite and approachable team that took the time to learn about me and my portfolio. Due to market conditions, they are not open to buying my flats.

I understand the process has been updated to make it clear that an offer will not be made until a formal valuation is done.

Kristian McClory has been fantastic from start to finish with the sale of my customers house. He has kept us all up to date with the process and made it easy for him to understand. His communication and customer skills are excellent and is a great asset to your company. If you want to sell your home stress free and feel a valued customer ask for Kristian.

Kris was brilliant- informative about the process and communicative. He weren’t above and beyond to try and secure a price we were happy with. In the end, we sold our property very quickly on the market. Can’t fault the experience.

We are in the process of both buying and selling our home through Upstix, dealing with Kris, who’s been forthcoming with information and a joy throughout.

They sent me a ridiculous offer for my property and I sent them a big no reply, have instructed my estate agent to turn down any offers not based on the valuation if they try and offer again.

Kris at Upstix was absolutely fantastic and helped to move things along for us. He was upfront from the beginning and worked hard to manage our expectations whilst feeling like he was on our side.
He was responsive, helpful and a pleasure to work with.

I have given only 4 stars because our completion took 7 weeks which was not as advertised. Partly due to issues we couldn’t foresee and partly because the beginning of the process to get a final price from upstix took a number of weeks.

Overall, a great service of you need to sell fast, helpful and contactable staff and kept to their promises - but do account for 6-8 weeks rather than the advertised 1-4.

Don’t waste your time. Our house was valued at £270k by a number of different estate agents. Even had a memo of sale for £285k from a sale we lost. Told by Kristian they’d give us £238k… wasted time bidding on a house for them to offer us £204k last minute. Go to another company that won’t waste your time.

Edited to add that even after the reply to my review this company is still a waste of time. We’ve had several other companies offer much higher and get memo of sales over to us immediately. Even with the slight wobble in the market the price we were offered was ridiculous. In a time where people are really struggling and are desperate they’re taking advantage. Lies upon lies to be let down last minute. Glad we found another company that was open and honest from the beginning.

Currently going through the process of selling to Upstix and so far they have been amazing! Kept me fully up to date every step of the way, and the original offer was reasonable and has been upheld throughout. Really pleased with the commitment and genuine care and attention from everyone at Upstix

Although the figures didn’t work for us and we didn’t sell our property to upstixs, I wanted to leave a positive review for Kristian Mcclory he turned everything around for us really quickly, he kept me up to date throughout the entire process and provided a fantastic level of customer service. It’s a shame it didn’t work this time round but highly recommend speaking to Kristian for advice and support on the sale of your property.

Don’t use this company as my property is valued at 205.000 on the open market and upstix offered me 165.000,they get 2 estate agents who are told to value the property’s on the low side and then take the lowest valuation and try to offer you over 11% under valuation rip off

Upstix were absolutely incredible during the whole process; Dawn in particular was so proactive in helping the sale move as swiftly as possible - we felt incredibly well-supported!

Our moving experience was particularly stressful and difficult, but this was tempered by Dawn at Upstix who basically ensured that everything kept on track.

Upstix were also very generous, they took steps to make sure that we were able to proceed - even at cost to them. I can’t recommend them enough. A superb company to work with and I would recommend them to anyone!

As executor of my mother-in-law's will, I was faced with a whole series of challenges, including disposing of her retirement flat. I contacted Upstix and they came up with a realistic offer for the flat. They allowed me to make decisions without any pressure and were committed to seeing the deal through, in spite of the complexities of buying and selling this type of property. They kept me updated at every stage and were always open and transparent. I particularly want to thank Dawn Ross, who treated me as a real person, not just a customer, and who understood the importance to me of being able to sell the flat and get on with my life. I found Upstix to be reliable and trustworthy. There were no hidden fees or charges and they did not reduce their offer once we had agreed a price. I want to thank everyone at Upstix who made a difficult time bearable. They really are special.

I can only speak from my own experience, but if you're looking for a fast and easy option this could be it.
I looked at many similar companies - the main difference was that Upstix got down to their actual price very quickly, whereas others companies started with a lot higher offer but slowly reduced it during the process. As you can imagine, this made Upstix look as if they were offering a poor deal, however, in the end (after lots of wasted time with the alternative companies, who all slowly dwindled down their starting offers) Upstix were actually the higher offer, and frankly, the most transparent about it.
The bottom line is, if you don't want the hassle of the open market, endless viewings, waiting for local councils to do searches, hoping your chain doesn't collapse, or your buyer pulls out at the last minute, and you're prepared to take less than the market value - then Upstix is a good option.
From the day we verbally agreed to accept their offer, it was less than 5 weeks until the house was handed over and the money was in the bank. It was straight forward and easy to complete. They did exactly what they said they would do.
Communication was good, (Dawn wins the award for efficiency! Also, April went over and above to make sure we felt reassured and comfortable with the process.)
I guess it's all down to personal circumstances, but for us, the advantages of the fast, easy sale, outweighed any loss against the properties market value. We feel that we made the right decision and would recommend Upstix.

It was 37 years since we last moved and I felt Dawn was so helpful in moving things along; like there was someone fighting our corner for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Even after we moved she was there with her colleague Danny helping us contact the energy company as we were being bounced around by automated telephone systems and unhelpful emails from the energy provider.
