It was very difficult to cancel

It was very difficult to cancel. Most SAAS companies allow a user to cancel within 30 days and they can cancel on their own typically with a cancellation button or form within their account. I tried to cancel but they require you to send in a cancellation request which is not typical for a SAAS service. I put in my request and they informed me I was to continue to pay for 90 days upon request to cancel. They continued to bill me for the 90 days after the request which was very unethical. When I asked about most SAAS companies allowing a 30 day notice, and with nothing specifying this on their main webpages, they then presented me with the fine print in their TOS that it's required to continue to pay for 90 days after the cancellation request. I told them I would be happy to pay for the 30 days but not 90 so they threatened to turn my account over to their legal team and used threatening tactics to get the remaining 60 days. After many back and forth threatening emails I finally decided to just pay the unpaid invoices just to get them off my back. This company has very unethical practices and I wish I would have read other user reviews with the same issues. Stay far away from them.

Ordered af gripbuddy but it didn't arrive. Wrote to Uptrends 3 times but got no answer. It also looks like the good rewievs on this site is fake.

Bad experience trying to cancel and…

Bad experience trying to cancel and settle an account with Uptrends. They resorted to very aggressive tactics. I suggest reading other reviews and finding another provider for this service.

Challenging to cancel

I'm now in the process of trying to cancel. Rejecting the salesperson's email request for a call was not sufficient. You have to do a ticket and watch that ticket.

We use Uptrends to track site and API uptime, and to ensure data flows from our APIs on any given day are correct. It's been an invaluable tool in alerting us when things are off, and ensures we have solid reporting for our clients by tracking our SLA requirements. It's a solid tool who's ease of use is unmatched in the market today.

Poor value-for-money, bad business practices

We used this service for a few months but found it low in features and overall poor value-for-money, so we ended up migrating to Site24x7.

For some reason, our request to cancel the subscription didn't go through (you have to contact them to unsubscribe, as there is no option to do so directly on the platform), so we got billed for another year.

When asking for a refund we were denied of such possibility. Moreover, after expressing my disappointment and intention to make this public, I received a patronizing email from their sales executive, whose recommendation was for us to open a credit card chargeback against them 🤷‍♂️.

Great Service!

Uptrends is an incredible monitoring solution if you're in the market. We've used them across multiple platforms and we've continued to come back and recommend to our customers because it never disappoints. If you can't afford for your sites to go down for even a minute then you need to check Uptrends out!

I am disappointed with the sales guy's…

I am disappointed with the sales guy's service (didn't remember his name). He called me once: I told him I am just exploring and likely will not buy. A week or two later he calls again, and I tell him the same thing and then I think he said "You are a waste of time" and hung up immediately. Total disappointment from the sales guy (I think he might be the CEO too or something), will definitely not buy now for sure, but the services they provide are likely OK.
