I selected Urban Wardrobes because they had great reviews and offered the style of cabinetry that I was looking for. Mykhailo was the Managing Director that helped me through the process, answered questions, and schedule the design and works for my custom wardrobe fitting. They did a great job and I had no issues with the quality of their work. The workers were all polite and efficient. I would use them again for custom cabinetry work.

From the outset, they provided a competitive quote and good communication.

The design was bespoke and my flat had unusual proportions to work with. We worked together to come up with a design that made the maximum use of space in the room, as well as storage space inside the wardrobe. The design and pre-installation process was collaborative and responsive throughout.

The installation team were friendly and the quality of the finish is just what I expected.

Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience from the whole team!

Urban wardrobes fit and built a large custom wardrobe and a TV unit and shelves for me in our new house. I got the recommendation from a friend and i couldn't be more delighted with their work. The whole team is exceedingly professional and the work they did was completed to an extremely high standard. Could not be more delighted!

Had an excellent experience with Urban Wardrobes. From the outset they were helpful in advising on what would work best for our needs and Vlad was very patient when I was indecisive on colour and interior and was happy for me to revisit the showroom to help finalise my choices. They have a very professional approach and everything ran to schedule. I am delighted with my wardrobe and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

We commissioned two custom made wardrobes sets from urban wardrobes. One for a bedroom and one for a basement room. Both sets are well made and the designs are great. We would have been extremely pleased with them except for a major issue with the basement ones. We discovered a few years after installation that all of the contents had mould growing on them. We initially thought it must be a problem with damp from the basement construction. Having had an inspection it turns out that this is not the issue but rather a lack of ventilation to the wardrobes. We have been asking Urban Wardrobes repeatedly to help resolve the issue by installing some vents. They initially refused claiming it is not their responsibility. They then put us in touch with their installation manager who said he would come and look at it but has failed to do so despite several chases over more than a year. The main manager has also been quite aggressive/rude in his communication. We are now stuck having to leave the wardrobe doors open constantly to avoid the same issue recurring. It’s a shame because the wardrobes are nice and we were pleased to support a local company but I would not recommend Urban Wardrobes because if something goes wrong after sales, you may end up stuck

Firstly to give a little context, we began our order process during the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and despite this and the obvious very distressing personal circumstances, the employees of this company found themselves in they still managed to produce a fantastic set of wardrobes for us.

Yes, there were a few delays (2-3 weeks) from the original delivery time quoted but we are still very happy we chose Urban Wardrobes over someone like Hammonds or Sharpes as the solution is bespoke made and fits our room perfectly maximising all the of the space available which you won't get from some of the bigger names.

Fantastic end result. Great service from initial contact through installation. Exactly what I was after in finish and practicality. Had an alcove and previously wasted under stair space fully fitted out. Great local company to work with from end-to-end. Flexible with install dates, polite and very tidy workmanship. Would use again and thoroughly recommended.

Urban Wardrobes were excellent from start to finish. They came personally recommended & did not disappoint. They are a professional & knowledgeable team and always make themselves available for questions throughout the process. We have a Victorian house with high ceilings and they helped designed everything to our needs with a vast offering of styles. They quality of the installation was excellent cutting into the cornicing, and the skirting boards & they left the area very tidy. Would highly recommend!

We chose urban wardrobes after a recommendation from a friend who had fitted wardrobes in their new build flat. We had two alcove wardrobes in our bedroom in December - we live in a Victorian terrace where none of the walls are straight and we were amazed with the quality of the finish! The service from start to finish was excellent and I would definitely recommend.

Over the past 7 years my next door neighbour has had two installations from Urban Wardrobes and she pronounced the quality as awesome.

Having had a good look at what they did for her, last autumn we decided to take the plunge. We had a very unsatisfactory top floor eaves room accessed via a spiral staircase which meant getting furniture up there was very difficult. The steep eaves space was impractical and unusable.

From the first visit when the designer started describing what could go into the space I was delighted and really surprised. A deep recess which I assumed was unusable and would have to be blocked off became a walk in wardrobe through a secret door which looks like a wardrobe door on a run of storage across the room and across the alcove. Into the steep roof pitch cupboards and drawers have been fitted meaning the room now has tons of storage all user friendly.

The quality of the installation is excellent and the installation team were considerate, courteous and really skilled at their job despite the difficulties of working sometimes below head height in the eaves. They also replaced some sliding wardrobe doors in another room and there is simply no comparison between the old very heavy mirror doors which constantly came off the track and the new doors which run on the new track quietly, smoothly and securely as well as looking lovely.

I agree with my neighbour. Urban Wardrobes are awesome. The whole project has gone very smoothly from start to finish. It's not often one can say that about a complicated installation.

I only wish I had known about them 8 years ago. They would have done a vastly better job of my kitchen!

We had a difficult task at hand - a sliding door built in wardrobe under a sloped ceiling. A guy from Hammonds said it's impossible to do et voila - Urban wardrobes did an absolutely amazing job to deliver exactly what we wanted and at a very reasonable price. It was clear from the very first drawing, that the work is being done not by a designer who draws pretty pictures but by an engineer who understands how things work.

Very happy with the end result and also it took slightly longer than expected, Urban wardrobes constantly kept us informed of all the steps and we never felt abandoned. Would absolutely recommend this company to anyone and will use them for future projects.

I am delighted with my finished wardrobes. A well finished, real luxury product. The company were very patient with my design tweaks and the whole installation was completed smoothly and professionally in a day as promised. Would recommend and use again.

Very pleased with the quality and design. Cheaper than competitors with more choice in design and finishes. Remained true to the quote despite design tweaks and extras like mirrors.
Installation was delayed by a week due circumstances beyond their control but definitely worth the wait.

Urban Wardrobes returned, without any hassle or hesitation, to repair the paintwork on our newly painted walls which was damaged during installation
