The quality of the wardrobes is great, and the pricing is competitive compared to the bigger names. Definitely much better quality than the likes of Sharps, and better value for money than the likes of Neatsmith.

The good price-to-quality point is because they are a small, lean outfit based in South London, so they don't have lots of overheads.

We got a Scandi style wardrobe installed by them, and a few months on, very impressed with the finish.

So why the four stars? There were a few hiccups during the installation process, which took quite some time to sort out, but they were sorted out in the end. So the final outcome was good, but there was some friction during the purchase and installation process.

We chose Urban Wardrobes because they had excellent review which we found completely true. We had a rather difficult and unusual space to fit, but Urban Wardrobes did a number of design sketches until we came to the right solution. The fitting crew were polite, conscientious and cleaned up perfectly after themselves. We'd certainly recommend them to anybody and everybody.

Definitely would recommend Urban Wardrobes. Great quality. Service was excellent. Vlad was very patient with us when we were taking our time making sure we got exactly what we wanted. Once we signed up timelines were exactly as promised and worked around us. Finished on time, and very minor snagging points were rectified immediately without any quibbles.

These are bespoke wardrobes designed and fitted with attention to detail.
We have used Urban Wardrobes twice. First time they designed the wardrobe with two recessed cupboards so that the light switch, at one end, and the window, at the other, were accessible. The doors were spray painted to match our bedroom walls. The height was designed to protect the original coving. Internally there is hanging space, shelves and drawers.
Most recently UW have designed a cupboard with shelves for a narrow alcove as well as a matching three-door wardrobe with hanging space, shelves and drawers.
The choice of finishes, colours and fittings is extensive.
Vlad, Eugen and their fitters are extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. They clearly take pride in their work - and tidy up afterwards.

Competent and wide selection of quality materials and styles. But probably need to visit showroom to appreciate. Straightforward quotation process with none of the 'discount smoke and mirror strategy' that Sharps is applying. Friendly sales process. Net prices turned out to be quite similar. Installation on promised day in promised time. Fully recommended.

The entire process and service with Urban Wardrobes was quick and highly professional as well as excellent value for money. Our wardrobes look exactly as designed and have been produced and fitted to a very high standard - the finish is excellent. We would highly recommend Urban Wardrobes to anyone seeking fitted wardrobes.

I met Urban Wardrobes 2 years ago at the Ideal Home Show and when I bought my house, I knew who I wanted to fit my wardrobes. Vlad provided all the detail and negotiated a good price. Eugene provide excellent service in building the wardrobes in 1 day. I have been overall impressed with the standard and quality of the materials used. More importantly it fitted with the look and design feel. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Urban Wardrobes again.

We needed storage solutions for a flat that made the most of an alcove and cupboard. Urban Wardbrobes took the time to understand our requirements. Desk space, draws, cupboards in a prominent position; the first thing you see when you walk into the open plan kitchen, dining, living room. And making the most of our 'laundry cupboard' by adding shelves and hanging space around our washing machine.
The design process worked well and we were very happy with the final plans. The materials and colours chosen were spot on (bearing in mind we were not quite sure what we wanted). The installation was carried out with minimum fuss and a keen eye for a quality finish. We are delighted with the result.

I have a small master bedroom that desperately needed a novel storage solution. After a lot of thought I decided that small 40cm depth, forward facing wardrobes would be ideal in order for there to be enough space between the bed and the wardrobe. I submitted my requirements online and they got back to me the next day with the plans and a 3D design. I can say that the wardrobes were much better than I expected and they have really lifted the small dark room into a light airy space. I have so much space I have empty shelves.

Delivered exactly what we asked for (wardrobes in 5 rooms) on time with good value for money. The fitting was done to a high standard and everyone involved was courteous and easy to deal with. Many thanks !

We chose Urban Wardrobes based on prior reviews and were not disappointed. As other customers have said, the process is fairly lengthy because the wardrobes are fully customized and because the team want to ensure that you are fully involved in all decisions made. We really appreciated this attention to detail because it meant we got exactly the design we wanted and in the right material. The wardrobes themselves are finished to an extremely high standard and the installers did an excellent job - they arrived on time, worked hard, were attentive to detail (the design is exactly what we agreed upon) and tidied up when they left. We couldn't be happier: living out of suitcases for months was worth the wait!

Recommended to me by a friend and certainly did not dissappoint. The wardrobes were completely bespoke and fitted to maximise the space with extra depth utlised on one side around a chimney breast rather than boxing it off as everyone else wanted to do! Great service from Mykhailo on the design, and I couldnt fault the installation team who were polite, professional and incredibly tidy. We couldnt be happier with the end result and I would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending to anyone else.

Brilliant service & fantastic product. They built me a custom wardrobe for my bedroom and a cupboard for the kitchen to fit a tiny under-optimised alcove! They came back to fix a couple of glitches no probs. The fitters were polite and friendly. They gave me a long list of references when I was deciding whether to go with them and I managed to speak to one guy who highly recommended them and now I know why - so glad I chose them!

We met the team at The Grands Design Home Show which gave us certainty that their service would be topnotch. We visited their showroom in east London and were pleasantly surprised with the attentiveness their project manager gave us. Urban Wardrobes most certainly work hard to ensure their customer is happy & go over and beyond, from start to finish, delivering a high spec product with an extremely high service. Their dedicated team ensure that they communicate all the way through the project which we found to be reassuring since this was an investment piece for the home. We look forward to working with Urban Wardrobes again!

I've just had new fitted wardrobes installed and I'm very happy with the result. The quality of the fit and finish is excellent given that I think these are very reasonably priced - about a 5th the cost of someone like Sharps and a much, much nicer experience.

Sometimes they were a little slow replying to emails, but I appreciate they are a small business and it can be difficult to juggle everything. But after I placed the order and paid the deposit the installation was booked within 4 weeks as promised. The installers were incredibly diligent, left no mess and did an excellent job.

There was one small hiccup with wrongly-sized drawer runners, meaning it couldn't be finished on the original installation date, but they came back quickly and finished up.

Overall I'm very happy and I would certainly recommend Mykhailo and his team.
