# DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SHADY COMPANY #

This company is an absolute joke! I ordered a pair on sunglasses via the UK site on 2nd Sept - I sent customer service a simple follow-up question, and thus far they have failed to respond at all; despite sending multiple messages.

It is now the 9th Sept, still no communication from Carrera and the pending payment has disappeared from my credit card statement!

I have reached out on various social media platforms and all messages are either ignored or fobbed off - I suspect the email contact for customer enquiries is in fact unmonitored.

Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with - Avoid at all costs!

Shocking customer services

Shocking customer services. I have been unable to return a set of frames as the Carrera website wont log me in. Email address and order number quoted as correct. Do not buy from this company as on the basis you have to make a return, you will be denied!

Items bought, not shipped and no refund

Ordered 6 pairs of sunglasses for myself and groomsmen.
Paid the money, confirmation email received.
3 weeks later parcel not received so emailed and was told there was a shipping error and a refund would be processed only once they had the items back in warehouse (items were never sent to me). I received a partial refund at this point.
I emailed weekly for updates, all were ignored until a month later when ai threatened legal action when rest if the money was refunded.
Wore and purchased their shades many times when passing through airports etc so was very disappointed by the service and process when dealing directly. Will be reporting to trading standards as dont believe it to be legal to withhold a refund for items they messed up shipping on and I had no delivery or attempted deliveries or even a shipping notification

Carrera glasses very poor quality

I bought two pairs of glasses from a reputable brand on the High street in the U.K. - and of all the brands of glasses I have had (and there have been a few!) the Carrera ones are by far the worst quality.

The inner arms have rubber and plastic sections that are practically hanging off and the metal bar underneath sticks in my temple.

Poorly constructed, poorly thought out, and poorly designed. I won’t be wasting time or money on this particular brand ever again.

Poor quality product & co. doesn't honor warranty

I'll never buy Carreras again and I recommend you stay away from them, unless you like throwing money in the toilet. I've been buying premium sunglasses since 1997 and recently bought my first pair of Carreras (model 1055/s). This is the first time I've *ever* had to request a warranty repair/replacement (which they didn't even honor in the end). Glasses were bought in Nov 2023 and retail for over US$200. Within three months, the metal component of the adjustable nose pad broke off while I was repositioning it, and Carrera had the gall to suggest that, by adjusting the nose pad and it breaking off, it's my fault and therefore not a warranty/guarantee situation. This is a component that's designed to be adjustable! I'll never buy their products again. Stay away, as they produce inferior products and don't honor their warranties

Carreraworld Sunglasses - authentic ?

I am very concerned in buying sunglasses from them. They are charging as low as $140 and high $185.
