Bitter taste to all the outside chocolate coating

I absolutely love Misfits bars. The new formula is so soft and delicious. All the flavors are great, but my favorite has to be the chocolate fudge.

These are the best protein bars disguised as a candy bar. Checks all the boxes when it comes to craving a sweet treat.

Normally, I love Misfits bars and get them regularly at different grocery outlets. I saw that Misfits was having a great sale online (buy 1 box, get 2 free) on their previous recipe for their bars that were getting discontinued. I eagerly bought a bunch of boxes, knowing how much I liked them, and happy to use the previous recipe (since I remembered liking the former recipe, too). When I received them though on July 29th, I opened the first one and quickly noticed that it looked and tasted quite old--the chocolate was flaking off, the bar had sort of hardened and congealed, the texture wasn't what I remembered. So I looked, and I was quite disappointed to see that all 9 boxes that I ordered expired on August 9th, only 11 days after I received them. Considering I bought 108 bars, 11 days isn't much to use these before they officially expire. I don't remember seeing on the sale listing the expiration date for the bars or any sort of warning about that. All in all, I just feel a little baited and switched by the sale and misled, and ultimately, the biggest issue is just the bars did not taste all that great due to how close they were to expiration. In hindsight, I just wish I'd known about this so that I didn't spend so much on what I thought was just a sale on a discontinued recipe, not a sale on an about-to-expire food product.

Huge fan but disappointed.

The order was not delivered by the time I was told when ordering. It got delayed by a couple of days. Emailed at the given address (info@…) for help when I knew I wont be able to accept it, but did not receive any assistance. I was hoping for a better service from your organization.

I love these bars, they taste like candy and keep me full. However my only concern is that I can’t really tell the different flavors. For some reason they all taste the same to me. I wish the flavor was a bit more distinctive but I will keep buying them because they do taste good

Never shopping from this company again. Terrible customer service. They sent an order I never ordered and then would not help refund it.

They are the worst tasting bars I have ever had.
I emailed them back to see if I could return them and no one ever got back to me.

Misfits are the only protein bars in my house. Not only are they vegan, they are so chewy and delicious!! They make for a great snack. My favorite flavor is the cookie dough, cookie butter a close second. Thank you, Misfits!

Yummy candy bars! Really not in my budget, but with a name like "Misfits," I had to try them! Now, if I could only remember where I put the rest of them....

Misfits does a great job promoting its protein bars. With less than 1g of sugar and decadent flavor choices, who wouldn't want to pick up a box or two.
I've never heard of Misfits bf or tried them but with the specials going on, I used a bogo offer to try all the flavors.
The $ break down is around $2.35 per bar, but since I'm getting a box free, I was getting a deal. The first one I tried was the peanut butter. The fillings on all of these bars are a soft, almost whipped type of texture, and since it's not too sweet, it was an adjustment in mindset to finish it. It tasted off.
The brownie flavor was slightly more chocolaty and that overcame the whipped/low to no sugar-texture-taste and it was a teeny bit more enjoyable.
What can I say, they are protein bars, but since I'm in it for around $70, I will not give up. I spent the money, I will force myself to finish them, but if I'm being honest, if I had tasted a single bar first, I would not have invested in the ad hype and bought so many.
If you want a low sugar high protein bar, this one's for you. I am a review reader and all the reviews about these bars were raving, so maybe it's just my tastebuds that aren't right.
Read into it what you will. I like what this company stands for, I like their ads, I just wish I liked their bars a bit better.

Great taste and consistency.

The og caramel was terrible and I sent a message about it and didn’t hear a response back. The bar was not as advertised. Will not buy again.

They were ok. Nothing special. I like others better that have more protein and fewer calories.
