I love my Daysy! I started using it after I came off of hormonal birth control, and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for my body. I tell people about it all the time!! In regards to the Bluetooth feature: I’ve had a couple of connection problems while trying to sync Daysy to my phone (maybe 3 times out of the 4 months I’ve owned it), but each time I call customer support, they help me with such kindness and understanding! (The issue is usually due to a bad server, but nonetheless, the problem is solved right away!) I would highly recommend the Daysy to anyone!
Bad customer service, it’s constantly breaking apart, you can’t add your period from the app and has given me greens on anovulatory cycle
Daysy is an exceptional product! Not only do I love the Daysy 2.0 - the customer service that the company provides is over the top!
We can't use it correctly because the app doesn't work with it. I regret to buy it.
Update: Daysy has reached out to me, and after some messaging, I sent in my 1.0 for a new 2.0. I’m still getting used to it and will update my review again after using it for sometime. Also I changed my original rating of 2 stars to 3 for receiving better customer support.
Sad... like a slow dying relationship. When I first got my Daysy I was very happy with it. I had just started being sexually active and wasn’t interested in taking meds, hormones or getting an implant. The price for it was a bit steep for me, but at the time I figured it’d be worth it and a good investment in myself and my future. Wow was I wrong... I’ve been using my Daysy on and off for 3 years since I bought it in June of 2017 and over time it has gotten worse and worse. First issue was the cap becoming loose, (this being one of the more minor issues but still sucky for how much it cost me.) Second, was having a hard time syncing the Daysy to the old app and having to constantly take the cord in and out or turn the Daysy on again and again to get it to sync. Third, was a small crack forming on the top of my Daysy where the aux cord is taken in and out of (at first I didn’t think this was an issue but now I see it was... more on this later.) Fourth, being discoloring occurring under or on the button and not being sure why (when I called customer support about this they gave me some excuse I can’t fully remember and that I didn’t really feel justified with, knowing this cost me $302). Fifth, the new app at the time was HORRIBLE; I hated that I could no longer update the status of my period and I had issues getting data to sync (called customer support about this, and again, more excuses.) I have since just used it without the app and rely on the color of the day displayed on the Daysy itself (I can’t comment on the current update of the app because I haven’t used it.) Sixth, it started taking FOREVER to take my temperatures in the morning (when I called customer support I was given an excuse for this which really didn’t do much to help me). Also the customer service representative made it a point to say that my usage had been on and off; I understand this could be viewed as her checking to see if there was an issue with my data, but it seemed more like an implication that my issues weren’t valid because of my on and off usage, over a period of a little more than two years. And I felt a bit weird explaining that I had moments we’re I wasn’t being sexual active for some time. Seventh, the crack on top off it eventually turned to two cracks on both sides, and I’ve just recently noticed that one of the cracks has completely spread across the side of my Daysy. Eighth, it is currently acting wonky, which could be due to it now needing a new battery, but it could also be due to the crack on the side that now exposes the inside of it to outside elements. At this point, I’m positive my warranty is over and I’m stuck with a $302 disappointment. It’s sad because I’m in a committed long term relationship, and now at the moment, when I really need contraception, my Daysy is literally falling apart and failing me. This wasn’t a good investment. If I could go back in time, I would tell myself not to buy it.

I got my daysy in the end of March, and it still is way off with its predictions. It will flash violet predicting my period 10 days too early every month, and then the last 4 days of my period it will stop predicting my period. I try to retroactively enter period days but it wont register them on the app.
Also its complicated learning what all the lights and flashing patterns mean, not so simple. I have to frequently refer back to the videos online to remember how to use it.
My free period tracker app on my phone is 100% more accurate. I feel really disappointed that I wasted all this money on a glorified thermometer.
Save yourself 300 bucks and buy a $10 thermometer and get a free period tracking app and you'll be much better off.
It's the last time I'm listening to people on youtube (probably paid or given the daysy free to post good reviews) for recommendations.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY! DONT BUY DAYSY!! My daysy stopped working after 3 months warranty doesn’t cover the cost of shipping Daysy back to get repaired. There is only a 30 day return policy. DaysyView app also sucks. I wish I had good things to say but this is a bad product with bad customer support and service.

I absolutely love my Daysy! First off, I am a college student not wanting to get pregnant, at all!!! I got very sick on BC (going from the pill to the nuvaring to a copper iud), all made me have terrible side effects! Once I found Daysy, my life has been changed for the better! She is super reliable and makes me understand my body more each day! Also the Daysy support team is super attentive and great with solving issues! Plus, the Daysy private Facebook page is wonderful for any personal questions you might have.
Get it, you’ll love it!:)

For the money that you spend, it is less than average..
1. Poor quality materials and bad design.
The cap broke within 3 months of using daysy. And that is because the plastic is very bad quality and the cap should be just round, not oval, so you could put it on without looking at it. It's not rocket science.... Of course it'll break when people are putting it back on with their eyes closed.
2. The app.
It is horrible. Truly, the worst app on my phone. It's disconnecting and crashing all the time and again - poorly made/designed. Terrible update now, where you can't edit your period.. So if you make a mistake on your daysy or not sure (as soon as you open your eyes in the morning) whether you're menstruating today or you're finished - you're screwed basically.
3. Accuracy.
It is not very accurate and I'm wondering if taking the temperature actually means anything as my simple free period app is more accurate at predicting my period than this EXPENSIVE thermometer even after using it for 5 months.
4. Money.
It is soooo soo expensive... For the price and this precise thermometer they could've added a screen on the daysy and a feature to take your temperature that wouldn't log into the algorithm. You know, when you're sick for example?? It'd be great to have such a precise thermometer at hand. This just seems such a waste only using it for your period.
All in all, I do not trust daysy 100% and would not purchase it again. I would wait for more studies and a more developed company.

I really wanted to love Daysy, and totally did while using it at first.
I respected red and yellow days and did exactly as explained in the instructions.
2 months later = pregnant.
Not really what I was looking for.

I really wanted to love this device as the idea is fantastic and could get me away from other chemical based contraceptions but I have had nothing but problems with the device since I received it.
The app didn’t always work so I deleted another app of theirs that needed a different to run it (test flight) I do believe the original app doesn’t exsist anymore soo think everyone needs these two apps to run the device on the phone.
It doesn’t always connect to my phone, I can either try multiple times and if that doesn’t work I leave it for a day or two and try again, repeat until it decides to read.
It doesn’t always connect properly as it will read as the day before, I will have to go through and forget the device and instal all over again (I have to do this regularly) this wouldn’t be a major issue if you didn’t want to plan around your ovulation day or period since it would be a day or two out and I sometimes don’t know since the device doesn’t always connect for a week so I have to go from a week agos predicted history.
A couple of times the device has signaled it’s taken my temperature to find when I connect it there is nothing there, this could have happened more times but I am unaware since it doesn’t always connect and I do lose days as I stated above.
Iv had the device for over 5 months and still get a lot of red days, most likely due to the issues I have with it
I had contacted customer service before the warenty was out and they advised me to send it back so they could check over it, they found no issues so sent it back and I’m still having the same issues, I contacted them within that week to say it was still playing up and I would like a replacemt device and I was sent a generic email on how I could try fix it and it was tested so nothing else could be done.

At first, I was reluctant to spend the money that I did on my Daysy. However, once I purchased my Daysy and began using it with the corresponding app, I found that my Daysy soon became priceless to me.
Tracking my fertility, at one time, had been up to me to maintain accurate records. Now, with Daysy offering years of research- I can track my fertility with a "piece of mind". Honestly, that "piece of mind" offered by Daysy is priceless..
It's also important to note that when I purchased my Daysy, I hadn't realized that I was also investing in a great team of customer support. Yet another priceless feature of the product. When I had a problem with my Daysy, I was given the support to help remedy my problem. Throughout the process, they maintained communication with me so that I did not lose data. Once my Daysy was returned, it had information on my cycles so that I wouldn't have missed much data tracking.
I know it may sound like I'm some type of representative for the company, but I am not. I'm just a normal lady whose been let down by so many customer service experiences. So to actually be treated like a person and to have a product backed and honored, it was a refreshing feeling. I instantly felt at ease with the money I had put into my Daysy.
Finally, when in correspondence with the support team, I was directed to a site to help me better protect my Daysy. I purchased one and am very happy with it for travel and storage.
I can't post the link in a review, but there is a great carrying case for Daysy.
Overall I couldn't be more pleased with a product and a company.

Best company I’ve ever dealt with! Their customer service is amazing. Not only did they repair my device for free, but when my device got dropped off at the wrong address when I sent it in for repair (by the fault of UPS) the employees actually personally went to the house to retrieve it for me (something I definitely did not expect). Seriously impressed.
Thank you!

I've had this for 3 months now and to be honest I still don't really see the fuss and regret paying $500 (aud) for it. Even when I take my recordings everyday, it still gives me the same information that my free flow app gives as far as when I'm fertile and when I'm not and flow was way more accurate about my period. Since the new update daysy has just become even more frustrating as the app doesn't record all data that has been taken and won't let you edit your period-whose period only goes for three days? I haven't got pregnant so i guess that counts for something but I would seriously caution anyone wanting to buy this, I think it is a bit of a rip off

I am so happy to have received my daysy. I couldn't thank the team enough for helping me through my many questions.
They were very helpful, kind, and thorough!
Thank you!!!!!

The device itself works fine, but the app is an absolute nightmare and nothing works smoothly. First off, you have to use an old school rubber adapter to make the device work with newer iphones. You have to follow a specific order of opening the app and connecting the cords for the device to actually sync, and when you do it still gives errors that the device is not connected. The app also does not pull through all the data from the device accurately.. and the app won't let you add that you were menstruating after the fact if you forgot to do so on the device (even though they advertise that you're supposed to be able to). The app just got an update and is still extremely old school compared to the technology we have access to today. Support is usually helpful relatively quickly but I should not be reaching out to support this often for a device this expensive that has so many good reviews. It's ridiculous and I feel like I'm lost because I cannot be on hormonal bc.

I have had the daysy for about 7 months now and I liked it ok until recently. During the time that I’ve had it I’ve had to send it in for repairs twice, once was because I damaged it. Typically I have found their customer service to be great, until now. I recently made a mistake entering data (confirmed I was having my period when I was not), it’s an easy mistake to make when you’re fumbling with a thermometer when you’re half awake. Previously this was an easy mistake to fix through the app and you could make corrections for up to 3 days. Recently the app was updated and with the new update they removed the option to make corrections unless you do it they day the error occurs. I found out via customer service that they have removed the option to make corrections and I was given 3 options; continue as is, knowing my data will be skewed for months, shipping it back so they can correct it for $10 plus I pay shipping and handling costs and am without my daysy for days while it’s getting repaired or resetting it and erasing all my data. Unless they make changes to this app I would not recommend it to anyone and I would not purchase this product again.

Since the update the app doesn't work anymore. It's not possible to indicate the period afterwards and it crushes ALL THE TIME! Also it's not possible to see the temperature curve anymore. I expect more from such an expensice device that comes with an app!

I purchased my Daysy in August of 2018 and it was working fine and had no issues. Then it started making me take my temperature twice because it can never get it on the first reading. Even though I always keep my mouth closed and don't move. I have never dropped my daysy and have always kept it by my bedside table so it is in perfect condition.
I read an article about how daysy can't actually predict fertility and how the science doesn't back it up and this scared me but I thought well I paid $500 so have to keep using it. Then it predicted I was pregnant the day before I got my period because I was a couple days late, so now I don't think it actually reads temperature and I don't trust Daysy. The app also stopped working in that every time I try to sync with my daysy, it says the connection is interrupted. I contacted support and, besides the delayed response times where I have to email them again, they keep sending me things like "have you tried shutting it off and turning it back on again" or "are you receiving texts or making calls while trying to sync your daysy". It's patronising, really. When I emailed back to say I've done everything they have recommended they say they are aware this is an issue that isn't only happening with me but the app as a whole and the tech team is trying to resolve it. In the meantime I cant change anything on my daysyview app and or see the future predicted dates. I have no idea how a company could make an app update (that is automatic on your phone) without making sure it works first. Check the reviews on the app store, it doesn't work for anyone. And they refuse to reimburse when they admit their product doesn't work (they put a notice on website that app isn't working) Now when friends ask if they should purchase it, I say definitely not. Huge ripoff. You can get the exact same information with period apps like Clue.
Update: in regards to the response from daysy below, the last email they sent 3 days ago just repeats itself telling me to turn off and on again, turn mic up, delete photos and apps etc... App doesn't work!

The device is easy to use and intuitive, the old app was great. My SO and I could share data between us and I could look at the logged information whenever I wanted. Now, it crashes almost every time it is opened and we can't edit past data. We've had daysy since about August and we loved it. Now we hate it. I would like the old app back or maybe even a refund if they never fix this. We paid a lot for something that's mostly renderered useless now.
