I saw this ad on IG today and got totally sucked in and paid the $39 and sent over all of my ID and then read all of the below and realised it was a scam. Too late!!!! I am mostly worried about my ID that i sent and Identity theft, did anyone else send their ID and is very worried about how they might use it?
Big Warning for this website its a FRAUD!
Big Warning for this website and its scammers.
If it helps, this is the number they called from: +44 330 001 3514 probably from UK,
They gave me a so called Emigretion case number 5666488 and they also recommended me to call +1 888 272 1564.
a lady with Indian accent called me from the above number. she sounded way too nice and the simple questions she asked were inconsistent naive and childish, I chose to play with their game because I was curious where it would lead. it all ended up with her wanting ME paying $320 which even this was NOT the plan from the beginning, the plan was for me and my partner to pay $350 each. when the fraudster requested sensitive information for my bank card I put a STOP to it all because I understood what they were after, they were looking for my card and the three important numbers behind the bank card called CVC. I have now reported to the Swedish authorities both the website and the two telephone numbers that I stated above.
I signed up for the lottery
I signed up for the lottery. A day later, I got a call from Miami.
At first, we had a normal conversation about my personal goals in the USA and my job.
After a long conversation, he wanted my credit card information. They wanted to charge $2500. I said I didn't have that much at the moment, and suddenly, they offered to take $500 instead 😅 He kept scolding me till the end, wondering why I was laughing on the phone and couldn't stay serious. Suddenly, he hung up on me.
"I immediately blocked my card afterwards!"

I had this man in the phone wanting me to depart with 65000 dollars when it is clear stated on the US immigration website that they do not charge a fee for processing applications.
He did not even tell me his name. Why would l give you my money. I really feel sorry for those that will fall victim to this man hiding under a scammers label
This company is a scam
This company is a scam! Do not trust them or give them any money!
Very sophisticated scam
Very sophisticated scam. I was sent the link by a family member and blindly trusted it. Payed the initial $39. Then got a phone call a few days later talking me through this whole process and how lucky I was to get accepted for the greencard.
I naively fell for it as I had already trusted the link, he was sending me emails explaining the whole process while talking to me on the phone and was telling me my own details. Eventually convincing me to part ways with $2500. As soon as I ended the phone I realised it was a scam.
I instantly started contacting my bank and emailing the scammer asking for a refund. The bank said they couldn’t do anything as it technically wasn’t fraud as I had “authorised” the payment.
I then went to the bank branch in person was was met with the same response. Luckily the family member who had sent me the link went to their own branch and explained everything. The manager then contacted me and she put in a complaint to the fraud team in the banks headquarters.
Thankfully they acted instantly with what I think was a chargeback and I got all my money back.
Huge lesson learnt and will not happen again. I know how lucky I am but to anyone who has been scammed by these scumbags you can get the money back if you fight hard enough and fast enough. And please report this to the authorities as it seems to be a huge operation and needs to be taken down.

Lucky I never parted with any money he wanted £350.00 for continuing to process my application as they are making our UK is eligible this 2024 applications (but any applications are now closed already from November\
Good thing I was out and didn't have my card details....it was strange the man continued to press me on the phone like "why don't you have your card and do you usually leave home without it"; and he tried to hold me on the phone going going with the convo (despite telling him i cant talk im out!! I defo started to feel and sense and know this was hard selling and a major red flag as it reminded me of those timeshare scams for disney tickets in Orlando and they use same hard sell, psychological, emotional approach and get you to feel good or special that you allegedly qualify!!!!!). He proceeded to say he could not hold my info I leave the call and not provide payment etc and I eventually got him off my line with much effort and frustration as I was out and busy!!!
Anyway, cut a long story short I went to the Internet to compare what they were saying vs US gov website and here's the thing that's a BIG WARNING all fake:
A. Usa government website doesn't ask you for payment vs this company does.
B USA government website is 100% legit and even has a warning sign for fake scams beware.
C.the date for visa diversity programme has actually expired on the 7th Nov 2023 this year, but this company are taking application outside of this, plus i couldn't really see the country they are actually taking on the USA official gov website this year.
D. They use tactics to keep you on the phone, be super friendly, ask lots of questions but they have scary undertones when they feel you smell a rat! This should be your biggest red flag and don't give your personal/card or passport details online EVER NEVER as they can use/sell this information on the dark Web to further make money off you.
I came here to reviews after that convo and I wish I found the information sooner....these scammers use 'phishing' and also if you pay before you receive goods/services is a ploy to catch you in their games.
If anyone is questioning about them, or unsure, please take my word for it.
Still not sure, go to the USA.gov website and compare also you can get in contact with your green card lottery queries via your USA embassy in your country if you have and email/number or email autofill form for them online direct and they can guide or help you or pay a lawyer in your own countryif you need processing help.
Stay safe and don't depart with your cash!
Pague 39$ y me estafaron.
Pague 39$ y solo me estafaron. Es una Lastima que existan personas tan malvadas.
No stars..
No stars... lies.
These people are scammers pure and simple, the first time I spoke to one person they said I had to pay $390 over the phone, but I didn't. It's $39 online! then strangely somebody called me today. Just now and tried to get me to pay $2500, when I questioned what exactly that was for they were trying to say to me that it was to proceed with the application anyway. He didn't like the fact that I was asking so many questions about it and he got very Aggie with me and I said to him. I was going to report him, then he said you can do what you want. So clearly is not a legitimate company. Please do not fall for it. I'm going to report it to Action Fraud and other governing bodies.

Scam: USAGCO.org FB post about Green Card Lottery
I saw a post on FB about the Green Card Lottery, and that you had to fill out a few things to see if you could join the program. I did, but then I had to pay $39. I didn't want to, because I don't really need a Green Card, it was actually more for fun that I filled it out. The next day I got an email saying I hadn't completed my application. I emailed back that I no longer wanted to participate. Then they called me and persuaded me to join anyway. It came across as very believable. It was an exhausting phone call, because I had to spell our names and address all over the place. Then came the announcement that I had to pay $389 through my visa card. I had to give my number and stupidly I did. Whether I wanted to give permission for that amount to be debited. I unfortunately did. Then they told me I would get emails because I had to send additional information, including a picture of our passports. Surely that was going too far for me, and I emailed them that I wanted to stop. But they kept emailing and calling. I blocked my visa card and applied for a new one. My Visa consultant said that the request was done from Tel Aviv (immediately I thought of Hamas). I'll ask Dutch authorities about what to do with our passports. Later I read the reviews here, should have done it sooner. And the official USA website of the Green Card Lottery reports that the application is always free and any email account from them always ends in .gov. The USAGCO website itself says that it is not affiliated with the US government. So I fell for this scam and hope this review will help potential new victims not to fall for it.
Update dec. 11 2023: after my email I didn't want to participate due to my age and I wanted a cancellation of my application, apparently they took that to heart and refunded me for the same amount. So in this respect they treated me neatly. The Dutch authorities told me to Never Ever send a personal photo. Without a personal photo they cannot use the data you provided them.

Scam like everyone has stated
Scam like everyone has stated
The company popped up on my IG so I started to complete the eligibility process and when it took me to a payment page I immediately cancelled the process as it seemed fraudulent. I received an email asking me to complete the eligibility process which I ignored and unsubscribed. I then received a call from a number apparently in Florida but the person I spoke to didn’t have an American accent. She explained to me that she needed to help me complete the eligibility application. I asked her if she could email me some details about what they do and she said they already emailed me when I started the application. Now, the email you receive doesn’t tell you anything. I told her not to worry as the whole thing seemed like a scam. She insisted that it wasn’t and she just needed some of my details to see if I’m eligible. I told her that she can use the details for this eligibility test to steal my identity. She said that if I can’t trust her with that information then I wouldn’t be able to trust her to provide my card details over the phone. I told her that I didn’t. She said my application would be discarded for non-payment. I said, okay. And she just hung up.
Be mindful people. If you are being asked to make a payment and it is not clear what you’re getting in return, do not make that payment. Your money and your identity is not only valuable to you but also to scammers.
SCAM,

no need to say more,

The lottery is fake
The lottery is fake. They committed fraud!
I registred and paid 39$. After this I received call and email. The number was with the beginning +44 (GB). I wrote answer for email that they are cheaters. It seemed like the scam. Because they show other number on the website with the beginning +1
But I realized it might be a scam because I checked this website again and I saw the right website with .gov. There was information about scams and they marked the lottery is always free. And if someone asked about payment then it is scam.
This guy has all my personal details
This guy has all my personal details, and I do not know how he got hold of them. I knew from the get-go it was a scam but was triggered by the audacity of him contacting me.
I have notified the USAvisa directory. Sent his email and the websites. They should try as much as possible to track this good-for-nothing coward!!!!!!
Scammers! Report them! Spread the word!
Scammers! Scammed a close family member of mine out of R50000. They make empty promises and tell lies about getting into the lottery or improving your chances. After investigating USAGCO, and reading up about the USCIS and Diversity Immigrant Visa program, here are the important notes:
1. "It should be noted that the USCIS does not have any affiliation with the Diversity Immigrant Visa (“DV”) Program, which is the program that oversees the visa lottery. Thus, the USCIS and/or the State Department will never send someone a letter or email about being selected for the lottery."
2. "It is entirely free to submit an application to the INS green card lottery system;"
3. "There are no methods to increase a person’s chances of winning the lottery since winners are chosen at random and only one application may be submitted at a time; and"
4. "No extra special expertise is required to apply to the lottery system. An individual only needs to follow the instructions, which can be found on the U.S. State Department’s website."
5. "The USCIS will never ask an immigrant to transfer money to them for immigration fees through mechanisms, such as MoneyGram, PayPal, gift cards, or Western Union wire transfers. The USCIS will also not ask an immigrant to pay money over the phone or by email."
6. "Be cautious of websites claiming that they are affiliated with the USCIS. If the URL link does not end in .gov, then the website is most likely part of a scam to get immigrants to pay money for a green card."
Other ways to check if it's a scam:
- If you didn't apply yourself and they cold call/email then it's likely a scam.
- Read reviews. Learn about other's experiences.
- Read the terms & conditions before giving them ANY of your personal data. Identify fraud is a true concern.
- If you have even the slightest hint of suspicion then don't pay them a single $ until you have spoken to an immigration lawyer or attorney.
- Scammers will pressure you into paying, don't fall for this.
- Educate yourself on the immigration processes, there are no shortcuts.
Regular thieves
Those people ... It's hard to find the right words. They are the worst from the worst. They made me pay over $30,000.00 (Thirty thousand dollars!!) for some thin air. Interesting detail: all the e-mails from and to that company are gone. I can't find anything back on my computer. Is it possible to file a complaint somewhere?
BIG SCAM !! do not trust !!!!
I tried to join the lottery and unfortunately I bumped into the wrong website. They asked 300 USD for administration and they informed me this is the only payment. 1 month later they called back to informed me that I have the green card. They asked 3500 USD again - why is police not taking any actions? I don't understand. LUCKILY my friends warned me that a payment through the phone is never done by an official government site. PLEASE BE CAREFUL !!!!!
A Sofisticated Scam
My rating is actually no stars at all. Not even one.
Unfortunately I fell for the scam despite the many red flags. Sometimes we're blind.
I wasn't really serious about applying for a green card, but thought it's just a lottery, no entrance fees and if you are lucky you pay some administrative fees.
Tough luck. The so called immigration consultants asked for certain documents, photo and 39$ fee. At this point it didn't seem suspicious. 3500$ later I requested a reference number and a site that I can check my application. They said it's not possible before an interview to be conducted. Half an hour ago I received another phone call for another 1000$. I pushed the guy this time. He became rude, raised the tone of his voice. When I asked him why is he loosing his temper and told him it's a mistake to loose his temper while dealing with a client he interrupted the call and said he will refer my case to the legal department. I accepted my loss and actually was sarcastic on the phone irritating him on purpose.
Bottom line...STAY AWAY!
DON'T LET THEM CATCH You!
THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM
THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM! SHOCKING!!!!!
I received a call this afternoon from a local South African cell number confirming my entry into the Green Card Lottery. I was asked a lot of questions about my age, income etc to see if I was suitable for the lottery, then was told to pay $2500 immediately for a green card. When I advised I needed to discuss with my husband he became very forceful and said I had to pay immediately. He asked if he could use the card I paid the $39 entrance fee. I eventually put down the phone and blocked all the numbers that had been calling throughout the day. When you try and call them back in says this subscriber is unavailable.
Please be careful!
