Hunter is an old lunatic holding a sign saying, "The End is Near!"

There is no third-party verification or transparent performance data. He claims he predicted the 2008 crisis in March, but that was later than more documented warnings. He is not recognized among early crisis predictors in academic or financial circles. His predictions are oriented toward building controversy rather than measurable investment results. He makes his money from doom and gloom warnings, like Glenn Beck and Patriot Supplies, and in the past he has been wildly incorrect.

Yeah, things fall apart, so eventually some doomsayers will be proven correct. Meanwhile, you lose investment opportunities hiding your head in the sand.

Partisan Piffle Masquerading as a Serious Show

Masquerading as a serious financial and economic interview site, host/site owner Greg Hunter currently spends the bulk of his time griping about "demon-crats", "liberal commies", etc., heavy-handedly foisting his own partisan political beliefs on his poor, unsuspecting guest experts. Guest quality has dwindled rapidly as a result. Comments which threaten to burst his worldview are promptly erased, thus tin foil hat eccentrics seem to make up the bulk of his commenters. Would not recommend this site to anyone looking for quality financial and economic information.
