The worst bank I have ever used

The worst bank I have ever used. My account has been frozen for over a year. I live in Africa so I can't visit a branch. I've called over 30 times to send a wire, close the account or unlock it. Today I spoke with 4 agents who transferred me to the next agent with a 30 minute wait. Unresolved still.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience at this U.S. Bank Tacoma -Proctor location. This was my second interaction with a teller named Autum, and both times I felt I was treated differently and unfairly. During this visit, she was dismissive, belittling, and unhelpful. The way I was spoken to felt disrespectful and unprofessional.

I left feeling profiled and uncomfortable. Instead of assisting me, it seemed like excuses were made to avoid helping with my transaction. As a customer, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism, and unfortunately that was not my experience.

Because of this repeated treatment, I will not be returning to this branch. I hope management takes concerns like this seriously and ensures all customers are treated with respect and dignity.

Chinese bank operating in the USA

Chinese bank operating in the USA. Free checking turns to be have a monthly fee.
Deposit checks will take up to 10 business days to clear with this Bank!!!!!!!
China has infected US somehow in every aspects.
Us Bank Customer service lies directly in your face!!!!

Opened a CC

Opened a CC. Online i already have a mortgage with them, went to a branch office to get the CC. # as I needed it to pay a bill, they weren't able to give it to me, call their CS # they can't give it to me, only way to get it is to down load their app. I don't trust the secuof their app. And they don't give you an alternative, nor is their an email were you can formally complain about their Yankee service.

I had trouble with the us bank app that kept rejecting my password. I contacted Ellie in tech support at us bank and she was wonderful!! She helped me thru all the steps needed to fix my problem and was very patient and helpful and was so easy to talk to. I think when you have a person like helping a senior like me it really put my mind at ease that’s why I gave her five stars!!

Love this bank

Can’t be happier , I’ve had an excellent experience banking with U.S. Bank and felt it was worth sharing. From the beginning, the account setup process was smooth, professional, and efficient. Bad customer service, online banking, and improper paperwork

The online banking was awful. More times than not would not take codes. The customer service awful. Do not know what they are doing. Have to call 1 800 number if issue. I think the shortest time I waited was 3 hours. Got ready to do our taxes and they filled out the form incorrectly for our IRA. Needless to say we found another bank. Will NEVER go there again. I knew better as my son and dad had issues with them. NOW my mother in law is.

This banks review details are ever…

This banks review details are ever getting worse !
This bank can and will jeopardize your financial security.
This bank will not honor its banking agreement.
This bank will harm your credit standing.
This bank will essentially steal your money.
Thus this bank has done all this to this account holder.

It’s not just me that has suffered this bank wrongful ways, the Internet is full of almost solely bad reviews about this bank.

Bank elsewhere

I deposited $250,000 to open an account, but have been alternately unable to access the account online or send money electronically to my son. I have spoken with at least seven bank representatives. One representative claimed to have resolved the issues, telling me that he was a "senior" banker and that within 24 hours the system would reset and I would be good to go. Wrong! The moment I am able to access my account, I plan to move every penny of my initial deposit to another bank.

Horrible experience 4000 calls in queue? First time customer

I regret to inform you that my experience with your institution has been nothing short of abysmal. I just ended a call during which I was informed that there were 4,000 calls in the queue. Over the course of the last three hours—from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on February 11, 2026—I was placed on hold for a cumulative hour, with no meaningful resolution.

This is, without exaggeration, the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I took a hard inquiry and subsequent credit hit to open this account, only to find the product unusable and the support infrastructure completely overwhelmed. I closed my account in under five hours of opening it.

The representative I spoke with was openly rude and sounded visibly aggravated—toward a new customer. That level of unprofessionalism is both sickening and inexcusable.

To compound matters, your digital platform is sluggish and the credit limits extended are disproportionately low. I came to your bank frustrated with Chase; after today, you have somehow made me genuinely grateful for both Chase and Capital One.

I strongly urge any consumer considering this institution to steer clear. This was an absolute failure across every touchpoint.

Visited the US Bank in Naperville to…

Visited the US Bank in Naperville to deposit a check into a business account of a company that performed a service. They insisted i had to have this company account number to make a deposit, however i have made several deposits and no issues. This is also with me watching a guy fill out a deposit slip with money on it, left it with them because she was tired of waitng in line and left it with a teller that had a customer.

I called 800-285-8585 and 866-268-7231 to report a fraudulant hard inquiry on my credit report.....waited 2 hrs total ..... called 4 times and still no answer. This is a reflection of the poor quality of US Bank and it's internal services.....i would never deposit money at US Bank

I have a credit card with U.S

I have a credit card with U.S. Bank for $11,000.00. It was 0% for one year. I used the majority of it for almost one year. I paid approximately $8,000.00 off close to the one year point. U.S. Bank then dropped my crdit limit to $2,300.00 forcing me to pay more in order to stay below 30% usage. So then I paid the card down to $500.00. Then U.S. Bank dropped my credit limit to $600.00 without ever notifying me that the limit was dropped. Communication with U.S. Bank is very poor. Be careful as these actions by U.S. Bank severely affect your credit rating. My credit rating is 702 and this happened. Be careful with this bank.

Exceptional Service

My family & I have been customers of US Bank in Glasgow, KY, for quite some time now, & we love them! The staff is incredible, warm, friendly, & make us feel like family from the time we walk in (or roll up) until the time we leave. They take the time to get to know you, & call you by name when you walk in! Any issues that may come up are quickly & efficiently addressed, & they go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant experience. Thank you for all you do, & keep up the great work!

US BANK customer service has gone down…

US BANK customer service has gone down the drain... and its really sad. I used to feel safe and taken care of. But now they're just money hungry, rude, and have completely lost sight of how to take care of their customers.

- From being hung up on by childish agents
- To being put on hold, just in hopes that you hang up by wasting your time
- To being told you're speaking with a 'manager', but its really just another person who's playing defense and not trying to help you at all

This bank used to bring warmth to my heart knowing I was with a good company, but now it just brings a dark sadness because of how horrible they treat people.

I will be looking elsewhere to put my money
