My name is Akin-Bolaji Akinyemi, and I serve as the Head of Operations at Fhype Global Resources. While I enjoyed my role, I knew I wanted to transition my career toward product management, which is what led me to UstackSchool.

Before joining the program, my biggest obstacle was communication. For a long time, I was used to working as a 'one-man team.' However, as my company grew and we brought on more staff, I realized I didn't quite know how to communicate effectively within a larger team structure. It was a significant professional hurdle for me.

The real shift happened during our practical sessions on business strategy. We were tasked with working as a team to identify market differentiators, define a core focus, and create and deliver a professional pitch.

Through these exercises, I had a major realization: Success in tech isn't just about your personal brilliance. It’s about how you bring that brilliance into a team environment. UstackSchool taught me that collective effort is far more powerful than individual effort, and clear communication is the only thing that makes that synergy possible.

Since completing the course, the change has been immediate. I am now able to communicate clearly and confidently with my colleagues. More importantly, I am proud to share that I will be securing my first major role in product management soon!
