It was fantastic to have a U tow trailer help us move our household furniture from Whangarei to Christchurch in just 2 days. FANTASTIC SERVICE from those whom hold these trailers available for us pick up the U tow trailer in Waipapa, Northland and the drop of zone Christchurch Especially a one way trip, much appreciated

These guys are now trying to charge us a late fee of $32 because they claim we didn't return the trailer on time. We were early to return it. We could clearly tell there was someone inside but they refused to come out! Very poor customer service! Not hiring through these guys ever again!

One of the worst companies I've dealt with. I talked to 3 different booking staff who all gave me different information, prices, drop off points etc. The last person was very rude and condescending in her manor.
I wanted a one way trailer as stated on their website as a provided service all around the country but this seemed very hard to organise with them booking the trailer to be picked up a 5 hour round trip from me.(Im in a main centre) That eats into the high priced 24 hour hirage. I've now hired a trailer from another company and making the 10 hour round trip to drop it off again as this seems alot easier than dealing with this company. I don't recommend this place at all

Left my name and number on their answer machine on Sunday (after waiting 10 mins in middle of the day) - it's now Monday evening, no phone call. Zurich!! Very poor

I was having a problem during my hire and contacted customer service 7am Sunday morning informing them I was unable to meet my return commitments. I was amazed someone actually answered the phone at such a time. The wonderful woman reassured me and helped me work through the problem I was having. Thank you so much, it was really appreciated. Highly recommend, use frequently & never had a negative experience. S & S Ford Westport

Horrible experience with U-TOW. They caused a confusion with giving me the wrong return time on the docket, and charge me an extra day with taking no responsibility of their mistake. Customer service are rude and arrogant, ended up giving me all the wrong information.

Tried to change a booking with UTOW - absolutely not worth it. Customer service lady I dealt with was rude and unhelpful - essentially saying I was the hassle rather than trying to fix the problem.

Really rude customer service from call centre. I had to hang up on the guy to stop him shouting over me, and deal with the issue. And then again when he started listing off all the other trailer hire companies he'd worked for previously (and he's still just answering phones).

U-Tow has some dumb people working for them. When I returned the trailer today she told me to place the trailer exactly as they had it that morning. This would be difficult to do as I would have to maneuver the trailer in between some cars. They told me that that was in the conditions but when I asked about this she told me eminently to leave in a very brutal way. When I asked if I could talk to the manager she replied that she was the manager. When I asked if I could talk to her manager then she told me again to leave as she would call the police. I agreed to that and only then she asked someone else to assist. Now I checked her demand and I am not able to find this in the conditions as such. Very rude behavior and I doubt if I will recommend this company to anyone.

U-Tow New Zealand Limited was good to work with, and I had a good experience using their rentals. The reservations went fine, the setup went fine-just a little longer than I would have preferred-and the product was satisfactory.
