I got baited by my love for waifus and their awesome designs, but the quality is super bad.
I bought a Rainhoe hoodie for example, it was 90 bucks and the "sticker" starts peeling off after washing it twice. 30 degrees, no dryer and it was inside out as well. Apparently you have to wash their stuff by hand.
I love the Sinder sweatpants I bought there, but my Rainhoe hoodie feels like it just has stickers on it and thats not acceptable for $96.

Lots of people have already mentioned the long wait times and horrible customer service, but the thing that really upset me was the awful quality of the items once they arrived.
I ordered a standee, T-shirt, keychain, and poster.
The poster edges were cut very messy, and the entire thing is made with a slick glossy material that makes it look super cheap and reflective in a bright room.
The standee print isn't awful, but the dang thing didn't even fit into the stand they sent with it. I had to file down the bit meant to fit inside so that it could finally slot into place. It wasn't a matter of me not pushing it hard enough either, it was literally too large to fit.
The keychain was the only decent item, but even then not great for the price. The print is blurry enough to be annoying but maybe passable for someone who doesn't really mind details like that.
The WORST item by far is the clothing. When I received the shirt, it was about 2 sizes too large (their online size chart is wrong), and the print was just... atrocious. It's printed with this thick cheap almost paper-like ink. The best way I can describe it is like printing a picture out and gluing it to the shirt. I haven't tried to wash the shirt at all, but I can imagine it cracking and not lasting long. The shirt itself is made of polyester I believe? It just overall uses all the cheapest materials/print, which is outrageous considering the clothing is $80+ without shipping (depending on what piece of clothing you're ordering).
If you want to support your favorite creators, I suggest doing so in literally any other way. If they have merch hosted on another platform, you're better off buying from there.
Ordered a pair of joggers and a crewneck sweater, both fit a little tight but I chalked it up to difference in US sizing vs Asian sizing, which is very common. Because I know UWUMarket is not the actual company making the clothing, I flipped the merch inside out and looked for the original manufacturer's Care Tags, only to discover that UWUMarket had crudely snipped the original tag with scissors (couldn't fully get rid of it, since it was sewn into the collar) and sewn their own Care Tag onto the clothing after the fact. UWUMarket's tag listed the wrong cotton/poly blend and different care instructions, presumably because their cheap screenprinting can't survive the heat of a tumble dryer or iron.
Looking up the same style of fleece-lined joggers from dropship companies, I can buy a pair for $5-$10 instead of $80. I can find the fleece-lined crewneck sweater for $10 as well. It's not the fact that UWUMarket doesn't make their own clothing (who does in this day and age?) but a $70 markup is egregious when smaller content creators talk about eating the cost of merch just so their fans have something to buy.
If I'm paying $80 for a pair of joggers, the content creator is making a couple dollars *at best*, and the original pair of pants costs less than $10 to order, why bother with the middleman at all? I'll just pay the content creator $10 for a PNG and screenprint the damn thing myself. At least I can afford to use a heat resistant graphic.
Clicked there "free keychain" banner. Confirmed my email and it said free Keychain "no other purchase necessary " it then charged me for it full price without me ever clicking purchase, and their site doesn't allow for cancelation. Disgistig, lying, and predatory business practice.
Its december and I still have been trying to contact the company to get my merchandise and they continue to lie to my face saying they'd investigate and send out my order with highest priority. Additionally they'd still refused to look into why my gift codes don't work on my account.
I've been trying to justify supporting them cause the creators I watch utilize them but this is ridiculous. I've had to miss merch drops because of this.
I have been pre ordering merch from there shop last year (!) it got delayed several times since it was supposed to ship on February this year. They delayed it yet again till May till it eventually got voided. They send out compensation coupons whos goods I ordered also never arrived. I'm writing this now as I'm yet again fighting for my refund on the set order. It has been a 2 month battle almost. Save yourself the trouble and don't buy from them ever.
Had to threaten CS with chargeback for them to ship my order. Support ticket took about 2-3 weeks. Their website states 30 business days for fulfillment, took about 60, probably wouldn’t have shipped any time soon if I didn’t escalate. Only reason I’m not rating 1 is because I finally got my stuff. Unfortunately, I won’t be doing business with them in the future.
I've bought many things from uwumarket purely because I wanted to support the creators who have merch there, but the experience has been garbage. Orders often take months upon months to arrive with no communication. Sometimes you HAVE to email them or you will never get your merch. I was doing a monthly subscription and multiple months took 6+ months to ship. I got a Christmas themed box in the summer.
The quality of the merch is spotty. The posters I've gotten are decent enough (how hard is it to print a poster though?) The hats I have gotten are very low quality. I got a pillowcase that was ok, but very expensive. Regardless of the quality of the merch, the amount of time you wait for shipping is insane. It is not worth it.
The product is nice and accurate to description, but I have ordered it in March, and it got shipped in late August.
The website stated it would take them up to 1 month to ship the item, but it took 5 months instead. One week after the shipping email, the product finally arrived.
Again, the quality is good, but I'm not going to order again because of the shipping times
Do not order anything from this company because they are under investigation from the FTC this is a very scummy company that will take your money and not deliver what you pay for and also the membership is literally a scam as you cannot cancel it and it takes over 2 months for them to ship anything to you that you buy on their website...... AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
I spent over £250 on merch and paid an additional £90 for shipping. What does that £90 shipping get you? UPS Mail Innovations service where UPS hand the package off to the US Postal Service. Why is that an issue? Not only can you not contact UPS for any issues with delivery but USPS have no record of any reference you try to give them so you can't talk to them. My item shipped August 1st, it cleared customs August 22nd and here we are on September 11th and it's still nowhere to be seen.
I contacted uWumarket for help and all i've had are repeat messages telling me the same thing I've told them about the package status. For £90 shipping to use such a cheap and unreliable service is a scam.
I will never purchase from this website again. Scammers of the highest order! I'm going to file a claim with my bank to get my money back.
Update 24/10/2024: I finally received my package after Uwumarket admitted the original was lost. Don't worry though, I got to enjoy a nice cool £103 customs charge before I could receive the package. £193 in shipping and fees for £250 worth of goods, make it make sense?
Anyway, items arrived. The keychains, stickers, tags were all fine and as advertised. The clothing however, shocking. Sizing is at least 2 sizes smaller than you would normally expect which means that these items are useless. The sizing guide on the website is absolute nonsense.
No matter who it is you think you are supporting by buying from Uwumarket I would implore you to save yourself the time, money and hassle and avoid using them ever. This has been an expensive and painful lesson that I've learned.
Order placed over a month ago, and still hasn't shipped despite the items being in stock. The even more scummy thing is though, for UWU VIP you are Unable to cancel it at all. Seemingly the only way to is to email them which they don't respond to. It's freaking scummy. It's not listed Anywhere on their website, not in the FAQ, TOS, or otherwise, before or after you sign up.
What Uwu market is doing is a deceptive practice, and would be considered a Dark Pattern by the FTC, especially by enticing customers to sign up with the promise of free store credit, but making it impossible to cancel. Companies are supposed to have a way to cancel subscriptions. I submitted a report to the FTC specifically because of the VIP issue, and urge others to do the same.
Edit: Forgot to add "Free Shipping" is only applicable if you are paying full price for items. If they have any promos going on, you cannot get the promo AND free shipping even if you have VIP, it's one or the other.
I ordered a keychain and a sticker on June 16th. My order arrived on 8th of August.
They sent me wrong items. After contacting support and waiting 4-5 days they replied with: "We compared the photo and your order and it seems to be correct".
If they looked at the photo for at least few seconds they would notice wrong SKUs numbers and item names. Now I'm going to wait for another 4-5 days and see what they do next....
They take a while to ship but the product is extremely well made and I am happy with the design.
There is no cancelation option even when the website says there is and there is no vip section of special products which they advertise but say in small fine print that there isnt. only way to supposedly cancel is by sending an email which they dont respond to hoping they get to charge you for an extra month. ON A 60 DOLLAR SUBCRIPTION.
First off.
When I bought the mug that I bought I knew it was not going to be the greatest quality. I knew it was mostly going to be a merch item and an overpriced item at that to support one of my favourite creators.
I came in with low expectactions and uwumarket managed to disappoint regardless. It is genuinely the worst quality mug I have ever bought.
And I haven't even started talking about the print.
The print quality is fine in itself. But not only is it not centered. But it's also only on one side. Admittedly they do show this in example pictures with other prints. But personally I have never seen a mug before with a print that doesn't either fully wrap around or is repeated on the other side. Which on a mug I spent 18 euros on, before shipping and import, would have saved them basically nothing.
Even worse than that is that the mug came dusty, I tried cleaning it off but the dust must have been on there during the printing process. Meaning I can not get it off. And it's not one or two little particles. It's dozens of them.
Uwumarket took twice the amount of time to ship as they claim on their own website (60 days instead of 30) and they ship a product that they should be ashamed off. (I may add I am suprised it survived shipping to begin with since it arrived in some basic cheap foam that was loosely put together with a tight plastic bag around it)
Quality control is basically non existent. I wouldn't be suprised at this point if uwumarket doesn't even have a QA and or QC department.
In total I paid 44 euros for THIS. Admittedly I should've known better. I had low expectactions to begin with. I am not going to refund this product simply because I do not wanna spend any more time on this after I have written this review.
The only reason I bought this mug to begin with was to support a creator I enjoy and have something in return. But I am still dumbfounded and recommend any creator to stop working with uwumarket and other similar merch companies because I am never going to buy merch like this again because of this experience and others should too.
This site is extremely dubious, negative reviews are removed and positive reviewers are duplicated for orders with more than one item to make the amount of reviews appear larger. It claims the items are made in Texas but that is certainly not true.
Seems like these reviews are filling in now from the people buying the absurd amount of collab merch they are making now and from all their appearances in content and the consensus is don't expect to get your items for months and don't expect any customer support.
My experience is exactly the same, I made my first purchase on March 12th, as of writing that is 9 weeks/63 days/45 business days with no shipping. The reason I break this down is because in their shipping information they do specify that it can take up to 30 business days for shipment. I have contacted them and only received empty assurance emails days later.
I made two additional purchased March 18th (Two Posters) and March 23rd (Acrylic Standee.) After sending an my last email on May 10th, I received a shipping notification for my March 23rd order about an hour after. I have not received the order from March 18th either.
The Acrylic stand has come in and it was bigger than I thought it would be and the print and color is good quality. I will update regarding the quality of other items when I recieve them.
That said when it comes to this companies advertised shipping time and customer support. It clearly seems the shipping estimates are false claims. Their customer support may as well be non existent and I find it interesting how someone else has also received a shipping notification after emailing but no response that seems to be used to try to placate the consumer. I've had PREORDER items shipped from China come faster than this.
I find the lack of apparent infrastructure and fact the shipping estimates to be false leading me to believe that it is also a false claim that "Our products are made to order from our facility in Texas, U.S. Orders take up to 30 days for us to craft before we ship them out." It seems more likely that the average shipping time and through customs from China is 30 days and orders are taking longer to arrive and get through customs than their estimate assumed.
UPDATE: My First Order of just a mousepad has came in, 6/3/24 84 days after ordering. It is very low quality with a dull print, no edging and is made of very cheap material. This was an addon item for $4 so it is fine as an in bed mousepad not on desk, but the MSRP of $19 is absurd for the quality.
UPDATE 2: 6/13/24 3 months after ordering my order still has not been shipped
UPDATE 3: 6/30/24 My full sized non-addon order has finally been delivered 110 days after ordering. I have received 3 other PREORDER shipments from other companies that I made AFTER this order before receiving this order. The print is walmart/kohl's quality, the keychain is fine, and the posters are not the exact size specified causing them to not fit in the frame.
The support is non-existent replying with the same response each email and yet somehow still taking days to reply (might as well have been a bot,) from what I've looked up this is just a brand some retired cop from Washington runs with no business infrastructure, idk how vtubers are patterning with this company making them appear reputable. You're better off getting fake merch for cheaper and you'll get it faster.
update: Lucy Pyre mousepad is damaged after not even 2 month, while my old one(NOT from uwumarket!) thats over 2 years old still holds strong, uwumarket ofcourse does not care and offers the usual 10$ coupon that they throw at anyone with any issue, UWUMARKET NEVER AGAIN!
------------------------------------------------------------
my orders was marked as delivered right after i purchased it, support said its a bug and they try to fix it(spoiler: never happend until it was actually sent out)
i purchased "in stock" items only, it still took 11 weeks to be delivered.
taxes were charged on delivery aswell.(eu shipping, lame but kinda expected)
support answers were friendly and reassuring but NEVER with any specific details about anything or any timeframe. i spoke with them almost every week but never got much helpful answers except something like "it will be done some time, we dont know when".
In the last weeks they stopped responding and when i actually sent them the e-mail to cancel the order i surprisingly got just a few hours later an email back, not with an answer but with a shipping confirmation. ofcourse this was just a shipping label and only some days later it was actually shipped.
i would not order again despite them offering me a 20$ coupon for a next order.
as for the actual mousepads, the big one is fine(although its smaller than my last one, make sure to double check the size)
the smaller one is sadly bad. (the one that supports your wrist), my old one of the same style was larger. for reference my old one was 320grams and the new one is 280g, for my big wrists this makes a big difference.
i cant tell if its bad quality control or intentionally smaller.
"In some cases it takes up to 30 business days for your order to arrive, because we're making everything with love" my ass, total fraud of a company.
Months later, still nothing.
Update:
Emailed their customer support a few days after my initial review, and threatened to contact my bank and get my money back unless I didn't see anything happen real soon, and got a shipping confirmation 48h later.
Still took about a week for the order to actually ship after that though.
Pretty shady business, probably won't even think about shopping here again.
Bought 2 mouse pads back in January they said 30 business days for them to ship that was. 3 months ago and still have nothing
