Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers consistently praise the platform for its engaging and practical approach to learning UX/UI design, highlighting the interactive lessons, gamified elements, and bite-sized content that make learning enjoyable and easy to integrate into daily routines. Many users appreciate the flexibility to learn at their own pace and the continuous updates to modules and lessons, which help them stay current and build a routine of continuous growth. However, some customers also noted that the platform can be quite theory-heavy and text-based, with a desire for more hands-on practice and video content. A few people mentioned that some topics feel repetitive across different courses, and the teaching style occasionally relies too much on bullet-point explanations, which can be less engaging.

Uxcel if a formidable source of knowledge!

I have had a lot of luck with my online learning platforms towards my goal of becoming a UX Designer and with Uxcel it was not different. There is something about the interface that looks very appealing to me, and the quizzes and courses seem tailor made for an audience that is eager to learn in a more playful, online atmosphere.

The choice of text and illustrations is a highlight for me, and a strength of their own! I am taking the courses very slowly - after becoming a paid member - and should be finished by the end of the year! I love their emails as well, as I am usually not one to follow the updates from apps and websites very frequently.

Uxcel will grow more and I hope I can learn as much as I can from it!

About certifications

Uxcel is awesome but It'll be nice if the certificates are more descriptive like the Nelson Norman group certificates that carries more details about the course. Eg.
👇
This Certificate was awarded by UXCel to John Doe in recognition of completing 30 hours or more of rigorous user experience training and passing the related exams. This status demonstrates a high level of dedication to UX education and a strong commitment to the field of UX. The topics studied provide a solid foundation that rounds out personal, practical experience. This UX Certification was achieved on 6/12/18. View confirmation at "verification link".

Great platform to learn more about UX…

Great platform to learn more about UX design even if you are not a newbie. What I like about it:
- the format in general very engaging.. reading theory, then taking a test, getting a certificate, share it on linkedin, skill tests, arcades... I really enjoy it!
- all key info is right there! Uxcel have done a pretty good job on a content, especially if you are a new designer it's a great place to learn all basics and not spend hours on reading tons of articles, watching videos etc. I am not saying they cover everything up, but they provided a really-really good base. As for designers with experience (like I am), I found this app useful as well..it helped me to cover some gaps, and structure my knowledge better.
- I love that you have courses such as Accessibility, Html, Css for designers, and webflow
- The interface looks good and intuitive, your designers did a good job! Dark theme, nice microinteractions, very decent mob version, and I love that you can save it as an app on the phone.
- You can find job opportunities which is great
- You can share your profile with potential employers
I just wish your platform development and growth. Looking forward for more courses, especially advanced courses for particular topics like UX research, Design systems

Highly recommend!

I enjoyed the courses which I took with them as the articles is written in a simple and clear way. The test that they made on each lesson is made as a game and in case you answer write they don’t only show the write answer but also they show you the part of article that had talked about the question

I discovered Uxcel a year and a half ago and these guys have done a lot during this time. I have never seen such a large and structured knowledge base on user interaction design anywhere else. Moreover, the training is carried out by the game and with each new pair of question cards, your interest only grows.
I hope you guys don't slow down in the future and every designer will know about Uxcel.
