Glad I picked up the call
I was looking for internet for my home and we’ve had problems getting super fast broadband due to wayleave permission difficulties with the housing association who manage our flats.
So I took the call from V4 and Mac was brilliant. We looked at options and I said broadband wasn’t an option so we looked at mobile internet. I’m now getting nearly 300mb using a mobile router I picked up on eBay and a sim from EE at a very competitive price.
Lost one star as the process is a little more long winded than the usual route, but otherwise a great service at a great price. And Mac was a pleasure to deal with.

Arpa Bhattacharya Assisted me with a power outage problem. My home had a power cut and, once resolved, the only issue remaining was no WiFi.
Arpa took time to walk me through the various steps to underpin the problem. I was impressed at his helpfulness and clear direction leading to a successful outcome. I would certainly feel comfortable in calling him in future if I had any issues. Excellent customer service!!
DO NOT GET BROADBAND WITH V4 CONSUMER
My flat was only able to have a copper ADSL connection which left me with only V4 consumer as a broadband option.
Initial setup was fine.
I got called in the summer 2024 by the sales team who lied to me saying that my broadband would get cut off if I don't upgrade to fibre optic. I attempted to upgrade to fibre optic and ended up with my wifi cut off for 6 weeks due to install issues. Throught this problem the customer service team were aggressive and unable to listen to my issues.
I am now moving flat and unfortunately had to re-call this company. I got told that I was in contract to 2027 (not true) and was argued with about this fact until I got in contact with an account manager.
I now want to cancel my contract and leave early using another provider. They have refused to give a quote on the exit fees and are now asking for my next address and private details of my phone contract.
Throughout the process they have argued about the contracts, have lied to me saying that I refused the upgrade to fibre optic even through they have logs saying that the upgrade was not possible.
This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

Promsed not to raise prices mid…
Promsed not to raise prices mid contract, but when hybrid fiber is avaliable in my area the the only way I can get it is to pay more. I could of got cheaper but the ONLY reason I went with them is NO suprising price hikes. They are aggesive in trying to get you to change. Do NOT go with this company look on line their are better deals with mid term price rises clearly marked and I would also screen shot the offer so you have something to refer to. Now I am worried my connection will be lost if they turn the copper line off
Internet made easy
I have just had my internet put over to fibre optic, it was done efficiently and quick ,Iam a pensioner and it worried me a bit ,if I'd be able to cope with my new router and fitting it ,but I needn't have worried V4 had this lovely lady Smita who nursed me through it ,held my hand and nothing was to much trouble ,she patiently talked me through everything,within a day I was up and running would recommend V4 to anyone .Thank you again Smita you made it easy 😊
