I am coming in EVERY morning to find the lights blinking and the unit has lost vacuum. I emailed the company with no answer and have emailed again.

Nice addition to my kitchen, does a great job of keeping food fresh. I wish it were a white one, doesn't match my colors very well

I backed the Vacuvita three and a half years ago on Indiegogo. I've watched it go through several design changes, and honestly forgot about it for like an entire year. Last week, I got my pledge package in the mail. One of the parts was broken; the adapter head that allows you to seal the bags and stand alone containers. I contacted support, who sent me one out right away. It was scheduled to be delivered Monday the 12th. I got it today, Friday the 9th. The bags are now sealing perfectly. It was well worth the wait. It's a slick looking unit, and I'm proud to have it in my kitchen.

The breadbox idea is great. And being expandable with containers that are easy to use adds to the cleverness.

We have been waiting for our Vacuvita a long time. We were an early backer and thought it sounded useful. But we forgot about it and we're quite surprised when we found out it was shipping.

We were thrilled with the design, the thoughtful engineering right out of the box. Even better has been finding more and more uses for not only our new and wonderful vacuum bread box, but the containers and resealable bags. It now occupies a prime place on our counter that had to be totally reorganized to make room for it!

Performance these first few weeks has been wonderful and the ease of use couldn't be better.

I absolutely love my new Vacuvita. Its sleek, modern and works like a dream. I'm already saving on bread costs. The containers are great and easy to use.

My only criticism... the rubber stopper that's placed in the machine when not using the external tubing. My husband is going to lose it for sure! I wish it would have been attached.

It does everything that it does well. It is larger than I thought that it would be, it is now competing for the spotlight on my counter top with my espresso machine. The marinating and brining (pickling) processes work well and the bags are excellent for use with my Sous Vide machine.

I love the Vacuvita! My machine arrived and I put it to use immediately. After 10 days my dinners are all still fresh and I'm still testing the freezer foods but all is as promised.

We've only had the Vacuvita a few weeks now. My wife isn't sold on the concept, but vacuum storage has always appealed to me and made a lot of sense. This system has a lot going for it--good looks and design. Though it is quite large, especially for our small kitchen.

The attachment that fits into the plastic container tops does not stay in all of them. In some, it holds fine while the vacuum is applied. In others, it pops right out--I have to balance a book or something with some heft to it on top, and really I am not convinced it even works on those.

My wife and I really like our Vacuvita! The base unit keeps our breads and crackers fresh for a long, long time! Also, we love the reusable storage containers so we don't have to use plastic bags all the time. We froze some dry-aged steaks last night. This thing is genius!

Very easy to use and get used to. Absolutely a must for every household. We can't stop trying it and learning how to use it,experimenting with food and marinades. I am sure this will be the most useful kitchen equipment.

Really ecstatic about the Vacuvita. Been using it mainly to extend the life of fresh baked breads with no preservatives! Extends the shelf life remarkably. Have not had to throw away anything so far stored in it! Would definitely recommend!

There is a learning curve, but I have the base unit under control now. Works well, like the colors and construction seems good and love the lights. Was disappointed that the dishwasher proof liner had been scraped. Love the way the top opens and closes and that it seals itself automatically. Great for bread.

I also think there needs to be a place to store the rubber plug that covers the hose attachment hole. Those rubber plugs are going to go missing. A storage hole could of been placed near the hose hole. Would be nice to have someplace to store the hose and the adapter on the base unit too.

Not sure about the containers yet. I seal them, top doesn't come off without breaking the vacuum, but the next day there is no seal, top comes easily off and there is no vacuum seal. Haven't found the issue yet, but for sure the food inside the containers isn't going to increase it's shelf life if the vacuum seal doesn't hold.

I find it interesting that I had forgotten about the Vacuvita, think I had written it off as a loss and when I received the e-mail stating it was being shipped, I couldn't remember what it was, I had to Google it, then search my invoices.

Great product concept. The product looks great in my kitchen. So far the main unit is working well. The container does not seem to work as well.

I first found out about Vacuvita back in 2013. After waiting three long years I finally received my kitchen package.

Waiting so long I was starting to think it would never deliver. But I'm glad I was wrong. The quality is better than I expected. And the seals are air tight. Love the home base. Bread is always fresh. And when you open it itslike getting the bread the first day.

Haven't tried the sealing bags yet. But I'm expecting that will be great.

Glad I waited and definitely recommend. Highly!!

Took 3 years to receive my Vacuvita and it more than made up for the frustration of waiting. The unit is stylish looking and its magnitudes quieter than any of the vacuum pack products from the big box stores.

Now that they finished and fulfilled my order, I have to go to all the sites I've bad mouthed them for scamming me.
