Vagabond was founded in the late 60’s and originally only produced men’s shoes. So much has happened since. In the 80’s Vagabond’s young entrepreneurs-to-be fell in love with the brand and were entrusted with its transformation. In the beginning the design office was located in Portugal and in Italy, close to the world’s best knowledge of shoemaking. In 1993 Vagabond moves back to Varberg, Sweden, to set up a full workshop for prototypes, most likely one of its kind in Northern Europe.

I've had Dorah boots for 1 year when the soles started cracking really bad. When I decided to complain, 1.5 year had passed since my buy. They had great customer service and gave me the chance to choose a new pair of shoes for the same price I had paid, which surprised me positively. Of course it's unfortunate that the first shoes broke so fast, but at least they remediated the issue very efficiently.

The soil really fell apart.
I owe 10 pairs of Vagabond shoes, and mostly it is good quality. But I agree with all reviews about a situation, when you need a refund or replacement, and contact support service. It is horrible. I bought the pair Vagabond Shoemakers Frances Leather Penny Loafer and wore it occasionally, not more than 10 times. Imagine my surprise when I discovered a huge crack and multiple holes in the sole! Yes, two years have passed since the purchase, but the shoes obviously in perfect condition. The manufacturer refused to review my case and offered only 20% discount for purchase in their store. But I do not need a new pair of shoes or a discount. The soil really fell apart.
