Becky from Valhalla was exceptionally helpful in helping a friend and I make our arrangements to spend time in several European countries some years ago. So I approached her about helping me make arrangements to travel to and within the USA four 4 weeks from 27June to 25 July 2023. Again, I found her knowledgeable, practical and very responsive at all times to any of the varied questions I had, and her advice proved spot on. Based on my experiences with the company, I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Recently returned from the UK. While I’m often an independent traveller, I now always get Valhalla Travel to arrange flights and organised tours. Because COVID has impacted some travel destinations through business closures etc I felt it even more important to engage a great travel agent for this trip. I remain very happy with pre, during and post travel follow up and with how Valhalla irons out anything tricky. Thanks again.

Becky is amazing. I have just returned from a last minute trip to Vietnam that Becky was able to organise for me. My family and I have used Becky’s services for a number of years, she always provides friendly, informed and excellent service. We are still very grateful for all the effort Becky went to when an earlier trip was cancelled due to Covid, including her persistent chasing to get refunds/vouchers.

A big thanks again to Becky for organising another trip for me and some friends. While we didn’t need lots of help this time around it was still great to have your assistance and support when needed. Particularly grateful for your prompt responses to our questions while we were on the road.

I have just returned from Japan. This was the third trip Becky has booked for me. She always has great suggestions for the itinerary and things to do. The service is always excellent.

Becky has arranged a few trips for me and is always responsive and helpful with good suggestions to make my trips work well.

Like so many, we had booked, through Active Travel (now Valhalla Travel), a 5 week trip of a lifetime to southern Africa in February 2020. Then COVID intervened.

Becky and Chloe rebooked this trip three times before we finally winged our way to Johannesburg for the first leg of this trip in mid April 2023. I cannot speak highly enough of the service we had from them both. Always very friendly, patient with our questions and knowledgeable - made some great suggestions which turned out to be so good. And kept in touch with us with trip developments over the COVID period.

The arrangements on the ground and the quality of accommodation, food, safari and other tours more than met our expectations. We had a wonderful time - going to different safari lodges/tented camps meant we maximised the chances of seeing lots of animals - we saw the big 5 including both cheetah and leopard and will have great memories.

We had a delay in starting our trip and Becky did a great job in re-arranging transfer etc and negotiating a refund for services we missed as a result.

Becky planned an amazing itinerary for my trip to Egypt. She listened to all my requirements and came up with an great combination of flights, hotels and tours. I had a great time. Will definitely ask Becky to help with booking future trips!

Becky and the team are calm and composed, and went above and beyond. They were able to secure prices and convenient routing that I wasn’t able to find, plus in the event of cancelled flights Becky and the team helped me on their 24hr call number. This is not the first time Valhalla's Becky has helped with travel - excellent, timely support for no fuss travel. I travel with the confidence that if anything goes wrong there is Becky - but again nothing goes wrong!

Becky is fantastic! We had a very complicated trip with a lot of moving parts and a tight budget. Becky was on top of every detail and wasn't phased by our numerous changes of plans.

Becky was excellent from the planning stages through to the end of our trip to Singapore, Cambodia and Indonesia :) She was really easy to work with and catered for all of our requests. We will definitely use her for our future trips!

My daughter and I found ourselves just a few weeks out from our month in Europe with nothing booked but our flights to Rome and tickets to the Sistine Chapel. With work, exams, and living over 300km apart, we realised we were not going to get the rest of our itinerary organised in time. My daughter sent out an email and Bec at Valhalla Travel replied promptly. We gave her the outline of what we wanted to do and see and when we needed to be in certain places. There were also times that our group of two were going to be four. She pulled everything together for us beautifully and handled our yes/no/maybes, and several changes, with an aplomb to be admired! While on our holiday, there were alterations instigated by tour operators and a couple of unexpected situations that caused us to send panicked emails back to Bec. These were handled promptly and efficiently. Time zones and working from home did not stop her ongoing service. We cannot imagine receiving better service than we had. She was amazing!!

Becky has made my travel planning really easy - her itinerary reflected exactly what I wanted and she was always available to assist with changes or extra items. She was available to assist while I was travelling when I needed assistance. Will be using Valhalla travel for future trips.

The thing I love about Becky at Valhalla Travel is she is as enthusiastic about my trips as I am. She makes great suggestions and her organisation is flawless. In the 5 trips I have had her organise, I’ve only once had a problem with cancelled flights, I rang her at an ungodly time of the morning, and she was on it and had in fixed for me….but more than that, she sounded like she was smiling down the telephone despite the time. Becky is amazing, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
