Recent holiday

Just returned from another amazing family holiday arranged BY VA. Everything went smoothly and we even got a room upgrade for my wife's birthday (thank you Bobby at VA).

As usual, booking through VA was easy, very helpful and super responsive - most importantly, the best package price by a long shot. I highly recommend VA.

4th year booking through value added.

Thank you VA for another memorable experience - you guys are the best !

Avoid this company

Booking was easy but wait till something goes wrong !
Couldn’t travel to UAE due foreign office advice so looked at cancelling 5.5k worth of hotel. They said booking was none refundable so I contacted the hotel direct who were willing to cancel the booking but would have to be done through the booking agent. They have refused to refund any money and only offered a partial credit note.They fail to give a reason why when the hotel are happy to refund they are not.Fortunately my travel insurance has covered the loss.Opportunists avoid this company and their sister company Luxury Holidays based in Croydon.

Lied to me overcharged me messed me…

Lied to me overcharged me messed me around on the phone and abused me over the phone for being disabled they clarted me around all weekend put nothing in place for my holiday after spending two grand on a trip away over Ramadan and they lied to me and abused me told me after three phone calls and no one understanding that definitely get a phone call the day after at 11 to which they had lied I will be ringing my bank to reclaim the money this is abhorrent treatment they do not understand the meaning of customer service once they have you money they don’t care

They have ruined my Ramadan holiday
The guy working their lied multiple times and told me it was £120 for transfers then even after the above hassles couldn’t keep to his word should be a £100 now with the amount of hassles they given me all weekend

60th birthday celebration holiday I was so nervous about organising a…

I was so nervous about organising a holiday myself for the first time but everything was made easy and so organised by ValueAddedTravel.
Jamel was amazing and helped with any questions I had (I had many). We were in contact often.Jamel was a godsend..Our holiday to Memphis,New Orleans followed by a fantastic cruise was a holiday of a lifetime and all run so smoothly

Had the unfortunate experience of…

Had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Jamel. Very rude man, rude via email and on the phone. Wouldn’t answer simple questions on why the price was so different to what was advertised. Wouldn’t send a breakdown of any costs. When I phoned, he hung up. Charming individual.

Baffles me why people who are selling something are so bad at customer service.

In response to the reply. If you can’t give a breakdown, informing me rather than ignoring the question would have been appreciated. I only asked because the difference in the advertised price to the quoted price was around 5%. Also, this does not excuse the abrupt email and rude telephone call.

Thank you anyway

Costs can also change depending on the date of departure and you also enquiried for both 2024 and 2025 dates, thus there would be a difference in price between the two. Great Service

Our honeymoon through Value Added…

Our honeymoon through Value Added Travel was a hit! Booking to the Maldives and staying at the Taj Coral Reef was a breeze with their easy and affordable process. The resort was a dream, and the all-inclusive package made it hassle-free. Can't wait to book with them again for our next adventure! Highly recommended.

Had a fantastic service with Value Added Travel. They ensured my holiday to Maldives went without any problems at the Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa

This was our first trip to the Maldives and Sol at Value Added Travel was very knowledgeable and built us a trip that was beyond our expectations. I will always now contact him for all my future bookings.

We have a beach villa right next to the beach which was aaaaaamazing !!!

The food was sooo good and fresh and the service was excellent. Could not fault it ......

Avoid at all costs
If I could I would give no stars. Great when booking and taking your money! Not so good when you are left high & dry at midnight in Orlando with 3 OAP’s and a 7 year old and no accommodation! This being because the wrong details were sent to us. When eventually we received the correct address, the following day. It got worse Luxury villa was a disgrace to say the least, sick on the pillowcase, beds were dirty and unchanged from previous occupants, dust and dirt everywhere. Moths & ants on the window sills. Dirty pool and hot tub. Even a tree branch sticking through the mesh pool cover. The list could go on and on. No real joy when we were there & had to clean the rooms ourselves.
On return a letter of complaint was sent. 5 weeks later still waiting for a response.
Looks like yet another case of see you in court.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, again

As per our previous correspondence in November, we have forwarded your complaint to the Villa Owners and Management Team and are awaiting there response. The villa that you stayed in is not part of a chain of hotels but a privately owned properties, and so their complaints resolution and procedures do take longer.

We understand that you contacted us regarding the cleanliness of the villa while at the property, and Jamie was in constant contact with you and communicated with the Management Team who did come out to see you on multiple occasions to address any concerns and resolved any issues that you had.

We have since received a response and we can see that this matter has now been resolved. Thank you again for your patience.

I would honestly have given zero if I…yes it’s been rebooked because you refused to give us a refund not being able to travel because of covid, good companies gave refunds

I would honestly have given zero if I could apply it!
I booked a trip to the Maldives through Luxury holidays which are part of value added travel, same company. Our trip was postponed due to covid and we could only have a credit not a refund which was fine. I then tried to rebook, the guy was in a rush and said I would have confirmation by the Monday, this never came, in fact I waited 10 days and still had no confirmation after several calls then when I said I wanted to cancel I was told it was booked and if I wanted to cancel then I would be liable for the whole holiday. I told them I was entitled to my money back as no such holiday was ever confirmed in writing and then immediately I was sent confirmation! After several more calls to which you just get someone that is taking messages I asked to speak to a manager. The manager Imran was arrogant, rude and completely unhelpful.
My advice if you are looking to use a company for a luxury holiday to the Maldives or somewhere exotic would be to use a more professional company with empathy, absolutely appalling customer service from these!

Fantastic service and price

Fantastic service from start to finish from Louis at Value Added travel. First time to Dubai and he helped find us a unique deal that couldn`t be found anywhere else. Booking and receiving documents very easy and hassle free. After talking to other guests at the hotel, we quickly realised we had had a fabulous deal. Won`t hesitate to book with them again.

Great Deals and Good Customer Service

Booked again with Value Added Travel recently and got a great deal for Dubai which I could not find elsewhere, the consultant was knowledgeable and helpful. The booking process did take a few days but I am satisfied with the overall experience.

We recently used value added travel for a trip to Dubai

We recently used value added travel for a holiday to Dubai and they were fantastic in sorting everything for us. We were a large group and the hotel and flights the complete package was such a great price. Thank you and I will be using them again for the next holiday.

Fantastic Service

My Wife and I decided to change a Holiday both the Airline and the Hotel and Andi and Andreea changed everything as we requested without fuss and very quicky and they are both fantastic ambassadors for Value Added Travel.

Shocking customer service
