Great platform for learning Spanish

Great platform for learning Spanish. Was assigned a teacher that fit my schedule, and it's been nothing but amazing the last 3 months. The curriculum is well structured, but the teachers are there to answer any questions you have, explain concepts not present in other languages you know, and generally happy to sway away from the learning material if that is what you want. I have adjusted my own lessons to have more focus on speaking and modeling situations, and couldn't be happier.

Much quicker than learning from a textbook or on Duolingo or other similar platforms. Would say even better than in person lessons since you can time in from anywhere and don't need to spend time traveling. The lessons are just the same, 1-to-1, with them giving you full attention.

I started as a beginner and after 50 hours of intensive Spanish classes I'm now fully capable of speaking, reading and understanding. We are now working on future tense but so far I had a great experience.

supports your learning from all angles!

I've struggled with learning a language for years, but this school has really supported every aspect you could expect. The instructors native language is Spanish! But they know English perfectly to be able to bridge the gap. They offer a variety of times as well as once per week or multiple times per week, all different levels. They offer online if you prefer or need a make up lesson. Their books are straight forward and provided. Overall, a very good experience. I'd certainly give them a try if you are looking to learn Spanish. OH and an extremely convenient location!

Spanish lessons in Barcelona

I took classes at Vamos Academy Barcelona. I just wanted to leave a quick review sharing my experience. I took private lessons with Emanuel, very well organized and great course materials. The academic director also helped answering some of my questions and asses my initial level. I think overall the school is very nice, not just from the academic point of view but also from the financial point of view. The price of my lessons were 25 per hour when most schools were asking for 35 and up.

One-on-one Spanish lessons

I took Spanish lessons with Rita in Toronto. Everything was done online using Google Classroom and Meet. It took some time to adjust to taking classes online, but after a few classes I felt very confortable. My teacher Rita was really nice. We reviewed grammar but also lots of conversation. My Spanish went from biginner to intermediate in about 6 weeks, so I'm very happy with my progress.

I would recommend Vamos Spanish Academy…

I would recommend Vamos Spanish Academy to beginners and more advanced Spanish speakers alike. My Spanish level is around C1 (low advanced) so I came to the school to improve my fluency and learn the specifics of Argentine 'castellano.'

I was not disappointed. Our teacher, Jessica was fantastic, the learning materials were of good quality and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The school does a good job of fostering camaraderie among the students (most of the ones I met were from the U.S., Australia or Western European countries) through (optional) planned activities and coffee breaks. Vamos moved into a new building on October 14, 2019 which is a major upgrade over the previous location and easily accessible by public transport.

I don't have much substantive criticism to add. I was in a very small class with no turnover in students or teachers, but there seemed to be more turnover at the lower levels due to the travelers who were just passing through Argentina and wanted a quick boost to their Spanish level. However, it seemed like Vamos tries hard to keep students with the same teachers for the duration of their stay.

Overall, language classes like these are what you put into it. If you come to class alert (not always easy given how late nightlife in BA goes) and are practicing Spanish outside of the class (difficult if you're surrounded by other English-speaking students and tourists all the time), then you'll probably see significant improvement. If not, then at least you'll probably still have a good time!

Best Spanish School in Buenos Aires

I have been at Vamos School for nearly two weeks and I going to he so sad to leave. The Spanish classes were engaging, interactive and at times very funny. My classmates and teachers have been excellent and on a personal level really great to get to know. The social director has organized lots of interesting social events and trips that supported the language learning aspect as well as being great fun. I would highly recommend this Spanish school in Buenos Aires and would love to come back some point.

Studying Spanish in Argentina

I took a four-week course at Vamospanish and was delighted with the experience. The course is conversation-intensive, which was incredibly useful given that speaking tends to be the most difficult skill to master in learning a new language. I had already been in Argentina for several months, but I was too fearful of making errors to try to use any tenses other than the present and simple past. Since the class ended I have been talking a lot more, attempting to use more sophisticated language, self-correcting, and making my errors with more confidence (because not trying at all won’t lead to improvement).
My teacher (Agostina) was tremendous. She engaged on a personal level with the students and was incredibly flexible regarding both what we wanted to and needed to learn to progress with our Spanish. The topics we discussed in class were extremely interesting and covered a wide spectrum, including (among other things) grammar, recipes, art, poetry, culture, politics, and sports. I was excited to come to class each day and the exercises we were given will also be useful for future review. I would definitely take another Spanish course at Vamos Spanish Academy.

I wanted to Study Spanish in Argentina…

I wanted to Study Spanish in Argentina because I wanted to see Buenos Aires and Patagonia. I originally intended to first stop in the city for a week and then another in Patagonia. But after my first week at Vamos academy I really felt in love with BA and my classmates. I felt like at home and made many new friends there. The Spanish classes are great and the staff very professional. In the end I canceled the trip to Patagonia!

Highly recommended. Talk to Derek

First I want to say thanks to the…

First I want to say thanks to the academic director Andres for having assessed me so well and guided me to the perfect class with people of my same Spanish level. My teacher Mechi was so nice and patient, always going the extra mile. Vamos Spanish create taylor made materials so in my case related to business. Originally I enrolled for 4 weeks of intensive Spanish group classes but ended up staying for 8 weeks.

My Spanish really improved and I can say with confidence that vamos is probably the best Spanish School in Buenos Aires.
