Van der Wal Vans helped me get a van for my starting business, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. Robert was incredibly accommodating and even threw in an extra as a Christmas gift, which was a very nice and unexpected touch.
The whole process was smooth and straightforward. The van was impeccable, in perfect condition, and clearly very well cared for. The staff at their location were professional and friendly, and the pickup process was quick and easy.
I also took a look at their inventory, and it’s clear they maintain a very high standard across their vehicles. You can tell they really care about quality.
I would definitely recommend Van der Wal Vans to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle, and I’m 100% sure I’ll be a repeat customer.

We have had very unfortunate…
We have had very unfortunate experiences with Van der Wal. We bought a van for 23K ex, ±82000KM, 4 years old. One expects a very decent Van for such a price and usage...unfortunately after driving 500 KM the AdBlue tank pump broke. Then within another 500KM the EGR valve broke. The roof sprung loose from the roof ribs and started leaking. Then we noticed the engine is using oil like crazy. The brake disks are checked and an independent garage declares this damage would have been from before the sale and not due to driving style as the brake blocks were still relatively new and OK. The oil dip seal is damaged. This all happened within the guarantee period. Unfortunately the rest, including tow charges, ruined holiday, days in garages in Nederland and foreign countries, stress, so much stress, I'm afraid (including probably 5-6K euro for engine revision and 700 euro for new brake discs) are not covered by the AutoTrust guarantee and Van der Wal do not offer to repair or exchange the Van. A family dream has turned into a nightmare. By the way - "one decent previous owner" as they claimed turned out to be a van hire company... Van der Wal have not accepted any responsibility for selling a product in an unacceptable state nor offered any solution to fix the Van. You cannot get help from 'Rechtsbijstand' lawyers or 'Geschillencommissie' because they are not surprisingly not members of such trusted organisations. I wish you all better insight and luck.
