My experience with Van Dyck

My experience with Van Dyck has been disappointing, to say the least. I purchased a goose down duvet expecting a luxurious experience, but instead, I've been plagued by constant noise while trying to sleep. This duvet is far from what one would expect from a luxury brand. The noise it makes has severely impacted my sleep quality, making it incredibly difficult to rest peacefully.

When I reached out to their customer service department regarding this issue, their response was less than satisfactory. They simply claimed that the noise would diminish over time, which has not been the case at all. This misleading information only added to my frustration.

Overall, my impression of Van Dyck based on this purchase is that they do not live up to their reputation as a high-quality brand. I regret choosing them for such an important purchase and would caution others against expecting a truly luxurious experience from their products.

Company doesn't care about the customer…

Company doesn't care about the customer service. I wished I could give you zero stars. Anyway I needed some information about satin sheets I ordered thru a webshop because there are some difference on the thread count even your own website is saying this. So, your website is saying 210, package says 200 on the front, backside says 208 tc. I founded this strange and called them to check. Simple question I presume. The lady I spoke to, did not even wanna take a look about the product differences. She was like a parrot, contact webshop in a unfriendly tone. So now I have sent everything back and I will buy from the competition. So be aware they are selling lower tc then mentioned on the site, they also mention Egyptian where I find my doubts because I could not found anything on the package either. This has a bad smell to it and for a high brand this is unacceptable. But I looked your ratings up here and Facebook perhaps you could change you website question from " we glad to help" to "please don't bother contacting us". But reading the other reviews here the company does not care at all.

Never Buy stuff from this brand! Shop from IKEA

I bought a duvet and pillow from here. The lady in the Vandyck Experience Store Winkel, Beethovenstraat Amsterdam told me that I could not return the pillow, and she didn't say anything about the duvet. The next day, I brought the duvet back, and another lady in the store started complaining about my return and didn’t want to accept it. After insisting for 15 minutes, she gave me a voucher.

As an expat, I am not familiar with the return policies. At stores like Bijenkorf, Nike, and Albert Heijn, they always accept my returns even if I bought the items in-store. Therefore, I wasn't expecting such a situation. This is why I will never stop shopping at IKEA.

I wanted to share this for other expats who might not be familiar with the return policies in the Netherlands. If you buy something in-store, a return is not accepted. Even if it is accepted, you receive a voucher instead of your money back.

The online store also didn’t help me in this matter. If I were the owner of this shop I would rather lose my money than my reputation, but it didn't go that way. I hope someone finds this helpful!

Poor Quality Product and Non-Responsive Customer Service

I recently purchased a JERSEY SUPREME bedsheet for €89.95 from Vandyck, expecting a product that matched the price with high quality. Unfortunately, the bedsheet arrived with a significant tear along its weave, indicating a manufacturing defect.

I reached out to their customer service via email for a resolution, but after 10 days, I've yet to receive a response. This experience has been disappointing, especially from a brand that presents itself through polished webshops and distribution in high-end stores.

I advise potential customers to reconsider before buying from Vandyck. The lack of quality and customer service I experienced suggests that the brand's reputation may no longer align with the reality of their products and support.

Proceed with caution and consider alternative options for your bedding needs.
