I was very happy with the overall service. The mini bus was excellent and drove very well. It was delivered and collected as promised. I'll use them again.

Emran handled my order right from the beginning. gave me a good price for the 6 days rental 5-10 dec. the 15 seater ford transit was delivered to us near Kings Cross Station - a short 6 mins walk to a quiet street ... met Mr Zaher signed documents and was handed the keys. included were gps and child boosters. Many advised against driving into London but from this experience please be assured that if you are in a group, hire a minibus from Genie Van Hire. you will not regret because one of the advantages is that you can park at the coach/bus parking space which is available near almost all attractions. Returning the vehicle, we arranged at Gatwick Airport. Mr Dhillon was there waiting for us. Truly hassle free. Good service, good vehicle, good all around... Thanks Emran and the team.

The service I received from this company was second to none. From the initial phone, quotation and follow up calls. Emran went that extra mille to make me feel valued, the kind of service I receive will definitely, make me come back again and again.
I took the vehicle to Europe, with the family the trip was just perfect.
I was a returning customer, all the time I deal with Emran; but I am certain that the rest of staff, have the same level of training. Well done to Vanhiregenie, keep up the good work.

Excellent service and the staff provided very good customer service. The original mini bus at pick up had a front light problem, they changed the mini bus quickly and calmly no issues. They advised me on how to drive the mini bus in terms of clutch control etc. After my trip they pick it up also even though I changed pick up location twice on the day. Any future rentals I’m getting I’m only using Van Hire Genie.

As a returning Customer for a forth time renting their minibuses. Still excellent for me always getting the best prices for my needs and their Customer service Asim & Deshan was very good. The vehicle drop off and collection was spot on and smooth so definitely highly recommend.
Will be looking to rent again very soon.

quick in response about van hire and helpful in vehicle inspection to drive out for the week

I would like to specifically commend Asim Abbasi at vanhiregenie, who managed my rental of a 9 seater in the first week of May.
Having spoken to other vendors, I was immediately impressed by Asim's understanding of my requirement and offerings to best accommodate my needs.
Later, to accommodate a small change in my plans, Asim liased with the drivers and ensured the process was seamless for us. 5 stars!

Booking straight forward, folks on the phone very polite and helpful, efficient service. Same chap delivered and picked up van to our house. He was very good - prompt and helpful, working late hours to get vans delivered. Give him a pay rise!

I’m Jesseline from Indonesia. The first time rent 17 seaters van in UK. And was handle by the marketing Called Deshan. He is a good one and patient to handle me. And once arrived at UK. We picked up by the driver Called GG. And he is a more patient guy and helpful with our large and a lot of lugagges. And he drive us along UK to scotland for 8 days, good driver too, recommended for him !! Thanks GG.. me and all my group was enjoy the trip 😊😊

The hired van turns up 3 hours late... and it wasn't even the right one. No communication whatsoever with shocking customer service. Then they have the absolute nerve to charge for damages that suddenly appeared out of nowhere even when we already took photos of the van before and after hire. Will be reporting to trading standards if they continue to chase for damages.
EDIT: After looking at this companies fake reviews below to compensate for the genuine bad reviews I have reported the fake ones to Trust Pilot and will write a lengthy email to them detailing their fake reviews on all sites not just this one.

I booked in the last moment for Easter, all my plans were really gone but in 3 hours I had the minibus in front of my door. I already recomended them to my friends.

More than happy for the service. I had the vehicle at the exact time at the airport and the one that I requested. The driver that dropped it proved to be very helpful and explain everything that we needed to know.

AVOID. Completely dodgy and should not be trusted.

Our group booked a large people carrier to be delivered early one morning. Needlessly to say, they didn't arrive nor provide an update as to why.

We continuously chase and are then fed excuses : first that the they don't know where the driver is and that it's not their problem ( ? ), then refuse to answer the phone for an hour, THEN turn up over three hours late…….with a vehicle nearly **half** the size of the one booked. The excuse this time? That the other one is stuck France.

Fraudulent to the core. My case is common of them if you check the net for reviews, it was just too late for us.

From the response below, you can see the 'warm and friendly' team you would have the pleasure of dealing with.
They also don't seem to understand how reviews work - for instance, if my partner books us both a flight and we both receive terrible service, we can both critique the service.
