completely rude people specially the so called owner Shirley ,
i took private hire rental car Kia Niro 2019, with 150 k milage already ,i paid them deposit and took the car ,i didn't use it sane day next day i thought to start working ,and i was bit away from Liverpool city and had to drive on motorway ,i went to petrol station and wen i tried to open the fuel tank,the cap of fuel tank stuck ,and i tried to open it in every way but it didn't open ,then i called ,the company ,liver pool van hire ,
and told them every thing ,instead of helping me they started asking questions as they r police ,
they said " why u didn't put fuel first day etc etc etc ,
they said rush to their place as they ll close @ 15:00 pm ,
when i managed to reach their office ,the guys who wash their vans and cars started looking at car as thry r very expert ,
when they couldn't open the cap ,one of tgeir expert took a screw driver and dig inside and open the cap by force and said to me in very arrogant way " hey mate job done "
i said to him i am paying £230 a WEEK ,This is not right way ,the car has to be working in proper way ,
he said to me " Mate u can keep a small screw driver with u and open the cap wen u need with SCREW DRIVER ,
I said to them take car back and give wat u have in good working conditions ,i cant take risk of carrying a car with petrol inside and fuel tank safety not in order and its my responsibility to keep the passenger safe as a private hire driver ,
then their owner Miss Shirley the don lady came and started shouting and in insulting way that i can't give the car back before 6 weeks as its a contract signed ,
i told her calm down and don't talk to me as i m not her slave ,
i told her this car is not fir for purpose as fuel tank safety is not properly available as any body can open the Cap from out side and i cant put my life at risk or the passengers i am carrying ,because petrol fuel is highly inflammable ,
i told her what i was taught during the private hire/taxi education and procedures ,
she said she doesn't car about any thing and refused to replace the car ,
after telling her all the safety risks dangers and concerns about passenger's safety ,i couldn't convince her that ,that very car is not fit for pupose andit needs to b fixed properly ,but she and her staff kept telling me the i should use screw driver or key ( pushed in ) and open the cap by force ,
i told her i ll not put myself at risk nor the passengers ,and she can take me to the court or any legal action against me as i m leaving that faulty car at her place ,
she became more amgry as i was not accepting her tricks and excuses and then she said she ll ask knowsly council to revoke my PHV licence and also will complain to DVLA to put points on my licence whichbis completely nonsense ,
she said she ll put my name and details in only association systems so not any company ll give me a car or van for hire etc ,
and she kept on saying that she wants me to pay 6 weeks rent for the car ,but i picked the car just 24 hrs ago hardly ,
any ways i left the car at her place made its video ,and she said to her arrogant car washers to park the car and lock up ,
this company must be banned and a complete health and safety assignment must be carried out by the relevant council or authority ,
the way that car wasn't in proper condition i m sure they do dodgy MOT tests of their own cars ,and i would like to tell all drivers to check their rental vehicles if they are safe to drive,
