I had a fantastic experience at Vanity Studios. Danny was a brilliant photographer. He made me feel completely at ease behind the camera and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Was incredible with the camera and giving directions making sure the photos looked pristine.
Afterward, Angie was incredibly helpful during the viewing session. She was patient and professional, helping me and my mum narrow down our favourites without any pressure, offering great advice throughout the process. The whole team made the process seamless and fun. Would highly recommend and I look forward to coming back again in the future.

We had a blast! What a way to spend Mothering Sunday and come away with some beautiful images of the family. The whole team at Vanity Studios was professional and everyone was so kind and friendly too. I have no doubt - we will be returning :)

Bernardo was amazing! My daughter Ava and I had the best afternoon and will definitely return. All staff were efficient, attentive and creative. We especially loved our make over too and make up artist. Thank you so much.

My friend and I were pressurised to buy what we were told was a luxury make over with nails, hair and make up carried out by professionals. It was later that we discovered it was a guise to sell an expensive photoshoot.
When we arrived at the Studio we were welcomed with a drink which was nice but the first impression of the salon area was not good. There was copious amounts of make up spread out on the counters. This was poorly displayed and clearly unhygienic. My nail guy was not happy doing my nails telling me he liked to do hair and make up. My nail varnish was applied with no prep whatso ever so the varnish did not even last the duration of the photoshoot. My hair was a flop as the same guy spend half an hour rolling my dry hair around a brush with no products so it did little on my dry hair. Finally my make up was disappointing making me look like a rabbit caught in headlights.
The backdrop for the photos was plain, mostly white, and nothing interesting. Finally the photographs were extremely expensive so, as we were not impressed with them, we chose to have just the one each which was part of the original package. The last straw was that we have to wait 30 days for the £100 (£50 each) refund which we were obliged to pay when making the booking date. Vanity did ask me for a review which I gave them but have not seen it published of had a reply so I can only assume that they only publish the complimentary ones.
My mother and I had a lovely time at the shoot, Alina the makeup artist and Dani the photographer were particularly amazing and made sure we had a memorable experience. We had so many great pictures to choose from.

It was a really lovely experience, from the welcome to the make-up and hair and the pictures. Nadine was lovely and bubbly, and Danny was an amazing photographer. I can’t pose at all so his guidance was key and made the vision really come to life. This was not something I planned initially, I got it as a promotion so the price of the packages was more than I was expecting. But I still purchased a lot of pictures because an experience like this is unique and the pictures were truly amazing.

We attended Vanity Studio to celebrate our sisters 60th birthday. We were greeted warmly and immediately offered a beverage and after our trying journey that was greatly appreciated. It was a lovely, relaxed experience. We genuinely felt special and thoroughly enjoyed the hair and make up pampering. As for the photos, fun! Really pleased with the results. We've all got a really lovely keepsake for years to come.

I was stopped on the street before Christmas by a man at the Vanity Studios stand. He told me that for £60 I could get a professional photoshoot with hair styling, nails, makeup, drinks, and even bring a guest. I paid the £60 and received a voucher that was valid for one year. I gifted the experience to my mother for Christmas and we booked our shoot for March.
Before our appointment, I received a call saying we needed to pay a £100 deposit to secure our slot, which would be returned after the photoshoot. When we arrived on the day, we mentioned that we had only brought one outfit each as we were just doing this for fun. The receptionist had to check with the manager because apparently they expect multiple outfit changes, and it’s “a requirement” but after a moment he said it would be fine. I now realize they want you to take pictures in multiple outfits so you’re more enticed buy more pictures at the end.
We had our hair and makeup done first, which actually turned out great. After a short delay we went downstairs for the photoshoot, which was very fun and comfortable. My mum and I both had individual photos taken as well as some together with both white and dark backdrops.
After the shoot we went upstairs to view the photos and choose which ones we wanted to keep. This is where things became frustrating. With the package we paid for, we were only allowed one individual photo each. If we wanted to keep a photo together, we had to pay extra, and you couldn’t swap this for the individual photos.
Essentially, if we wanted a photo together, they would keep the £100 deposit — meaning one extra photo cost £100. They also offered photo packages ranging from £450 to over £1000, which are not advertised online beforehand. It feels like the promotion is designed to bring people in at a low price and then encourage much higher spending on the day.
Another thing to note is that the photos are not printed — you only receive the digital image by email.
Overall, the photoshoot itself was fun and the hair and makeup were done well. However, the pricing structure and lack of transparency about the cost of photos left me feeling quite taken advantage of, if I had known, I would’ve never gone in the first place. I find it ridiculous to have to pay £100 for one extra picture…

The experience itself was enjoyable for the whole family, but the hard sell immediately afterward was disappointing & upsetting. There was no opportunity to step back and reconsider our choices, and when I requested to cancel within 24 hours, the request was refused. It’s very easy to get swept up in the moment during the session, which seems to be exactly what they rely on. Once you leave and have time to reflect, there is no flexibility to change your mind. It appears that your consumer right to cancel or reconsider is simply not acknowledged at Vanity Studios.

The photographer Danny was very good.
I think more time could have been spent on make up and different hair styles. A special mention to Angie who was lovely.
The images are expensive especially when you only get digital for the price but overall a good experience

I hand a lovely experience in the studio today. Not only was I obsessed with how well this team worked together but they were all completely kind and genuine with massive talent. They got the job done in a respectable amount of time, but didn’t make me feel rushed. Considering how much work and artistry goes into their business and how many people collaborate to give you a great product, their rates were reasonable. I recommend supporting these creatives if you can and allowing them to upgrade your image(s). I’ve only posted one and my
Hollywood friends are loving it! -Talyn E

We booked this as a fun experience for two mums and our three daughters, but unfortunately it turned out to be extremely disappointing.
On arrival we were briefly greeted and told to leave our coats and bags behind reception and sit down. After that there was almost no interaction from staff and no welcome drink or explanation of how the experience would run, which immediately made things feel quite unwelcoming.
When makeup started, I was concerned to see foundation and concealer being applied directly from the bottles using the same applicator across multiple clients’ faces, which didn’t seem hygienic. I had asked for light, natural makeup but was told it needed to be heavier for the camera lights. The result was very heavy and far from natural.
My daughter and the other girls also asked for light, natural makeup as they don’t normally wear any. Instead they were given very heavy looks, including dark eyeshadow brows. What made things particularly uncomfortable was that the makeup artist repeatedly told the girls that she was suffering with a bout of IBS. This felt very inappropriate to share, let alone with young teenagers, and made them quite uncomfortable.
The girls’ hair was curled which initially looked nice, but it didn’t hold for the photos and the straighteners appeared to be set extremely high as there was visible smoke coming off the hair while it was being styled.
Things became even more disorganised when my friend started having her makeup done. Halfway through, the receptionist shouted across the room telling the makeup artist to stop and move on to someone else because they were running late. This left my friend sitting there with only half her face done while they tried to sort it out.
Our booking confirmation said the experience would last around 120 minutes, so we planned our day around that as we had a show later in the afternoon. During the photoshoot we were then told the experience should actually take around four hours. After already waiting nearly two hours just for the shoot to start, we unfortunately had to leave to make our show and couldn’t stay to view the photos.
At that point we were bluntly told by reception that we would not get our £300 deposit back because we were leaving 30 minutes early, despite the delays being on their side.
Throughout the entire time we were there, not once were we offered a drink or any kind of hospitality.
Overall the whole experience felt rushed, poorly organised and very disappointing. What should have been a fun and special day for the girls ended up feeling stressful and uncomfortable, particularly with the inappropriate conversations about illness and the lack of professionalism from staff.
I will say that that the makeup and hair staff along with our photographer were nice and friendly.

I had the most wonderful experience at Vanity Studios with my mum! We both had our hair, makeup, and nails done, and everything was absolutely perfect. The complimentary drinks and snacks were a lovely touch. The makeup artists were friendly, professional, and made the whole process so enjoyable.
The highlight of our visit was definitely our photographer, Bernie — he made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera and captured some amazing shots. Everyone at Vanity Studios was welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience feel very special.
I would recommend Vanity Studios to anyone looking for a photoshoot experience.

The whole day was quite an experience. From the very reception we were met by a friendly, helpful team, eager to help every step of the way. There are nice refreshments available on the day which was very handy.
We were lucky to have Bernie as a photographer, and he made the shoot experience feel very relaxed and natural. Got plenty of great shots, would definitely recommend!

Vanity studios really made the most of our time by combining 3 of us in 1 shoot with multiple outfit changes. We received complimentary drinks alongside getting our hair and makeup done. The staff were lovely and our photographer was fabulous!!
