Item was purchased but wrong product. Ordered again and sent back. Could not send back via eBay so had to email them directly. Slow to respond and responded with unprofessional, child like grammar. Charged postage and ignored via email when wanting my postage refunded. Out of pocket!!!!!!!

Sold an incompatible item, not full refund, took ages

I was told an item would absolutely fit my van. It absolutely did not. No response to emails. Called and got eventually got a pick up for return booked. Waited 3 weeks, no refund, no reply to emails. Called up given more stories and sent a refund less £16.05?! They were at fault, not me. Their customer service is appalling . Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere. Way too hard to deal with.

Update, have called again to ask why I have not been given a full refund and got more flannel and no return of call as promised. Lots of excuses. I gave them a last chance to sort things out.

DONT BE FOOLISH

I’d just like to personally thank the YouTube “van life gurus” for convincing me that Vanstyle is the holy grail of van upgrades… because without them, I might have avoided this absolute circus 🎪

Ordered a set of running boards excitement levels high, dreams of looking like a proper van legend 🚐✨
What arrived? One cracked bit of plastic straight out the box. Premium stuff, clearly.

No problem, I thought I’ll just give them a call…
Oh wait, you can’t. The phone line appears to be more of a decorative feature than an actual communication tool 📞❌

So I emailed… and waited… and waited… and then waited a bit more…
Response? Absolutely nothing. Not even a “sorry,” not even a carrier pigeon 🕊️

Ended up buying a replacement part off eBay because, at this point, that seemed like the more professional supply chain.

Fast forward to fitting I’ll hold my hands up here, dropped a bolt into the chassis (top-level mechanic skills, I know 🔧😂).
So I email Vanstyle again to buy a replacement bolt… silence. Again.

Eventually, by some miracle, I got through on the phone only to be told they don’t sell spare bolts.

Sorry… what?!
You sell the product… but not the bolts that hold it together? Incredible business model 👏

So to summarise:

Cracked parts on arrival
Zero response to emails
Phone line harder to access than a VIP nightclub
No spare parts for their own products

All wrapped up with delivery times that feel like they’re shipping from Mars 🚀

If you’re watching YouTube reviews thinking this is the place to go take it with a shovel of salt 🧂

Absolutely awful products.
Awful service.
Awful delivery.

Just… awful.

Bought 2 parts for my crafter which…

Bought 2 parts for my crafter which both turned out to be rubbish.

Front bumper splitter has little dents in but they couldn’t replace as it got installed as I left the protective tape on while installing and didn’t see until I’d taken it off.

Secondly rear spoiler states ready to paint and turned up needing filler and costing me more to get ready to install.

Customer service really bad. I would recommend not buying from this company full stop.

Cheap materials used.
STAY CLEAR.

Caddy Bulbholder Issues

The product was listed as compatible with all caddy MK4's be that barndoors or tailgate. However when going to fit the new bulb holder i discovered that the two different types of rear door have different taillights and therefore different bulb holders. The part supplied was for barndoors,Not correct for my vehicle and also invalidates the "compatible with all Caddy MK4's" statement. Vanstyle do not offer bulbholders for tailgate vans on their website. When i phoned Vanstyle the gentleman on the phone simply told me two things,"We are aware of a few different Bulb holders and believe volkswagen changed them during production at some point and we provide a picture on our website so you can identify the one that you have". So i would say thats all a fair statement but could Vanstyle not help by offering the part that i need to fix my van rather than telling me just to return the product for a refund and get the item elsewhere?
Simply Put, They need to update the compatibility section of that product rather than burying their heads in the sand and pretending that Barndoors and tailgates have the same bulbholders. (Ask Your local VW dealer if they are the same)

Very satisfied with the customer care service.

I ordered a set of side-bars for our Campervan, which arrived really quickly. But when they arrived the packaging had been damaged during the shipping process and as a result one of the bars was damaged. I phoned Vanstyle and spoke to Stephen who asked me to send photos of the damage. As soon as I had sent them he arranged for the package to be collected and sent another set. The whole process was very quick and easy and the damaged set were collected the next day and 2 days later the new set arrived. They are undamaged and look like a very good product.
